Spacious cabin on a quiet bay of Daggett Lake. The cabin is very well-stocked, and the beds are comfortable. It is just a short walk to the brewery when looking at the map. We enjoyed our stay.

This property was in great shape, had plenty of room and was in a great location for access to downtown and the lake. Hosts were very communicative and made checking in/out very easy.
Very well accompanied vacation place for families! There were many fun things to do, both in the area and provided in the home in the way of games to play. We had a very nice experience!

We are happy to hear you had a great time at our cabin! Thanks for staying.
This was a great location! Centrally located to all the family. The lake was wonderful and our 2 year old grandson had a great time in the boat. Will definitely return on our next visit.
Our group of 12 really enjoyed our stay! We loved all the amenities - firepit, chairs, cornhole, etc. The kitchen is well-stocked as well. The neighborhood was quiet and super convenient to restaurants and grocery store. The optional boat rental is a HUGE selling point - we loved it!

Donelle, thanks for booking with us. We hope you have you back again!
We had a small family reunion and this home was the perfect fit. The home has a great layout and space, the location on the lake is awesome, and it's perfectly situated right near groceries, and amenities in town. I highly recommend this home!
Everything was perfect except we really needed a sandy bottom for the kids to swim in the water

Jerry, thanks for staying with us. Since your stay (and feedback) we hired 'Dive Guys' to pull the weeds and clear the dock and swimming areas of weeds. It was worse than usual this year but appreciate your feedback so we could get it handled. Hope to have you back!
This location is perfect! We absolutely loved our stay. We had multiple families and lots of kids so the dock, beach area and lily pad were key. The neighbors on either side were also wonderful and so nice and welcoming. Very easy to get to anywhere you need by either boat or car. Would definitely recommend.
This is our second year staying at this lovely property. It is spacious and well equipped (all the kitchen equipment you need, games, puzzles, nice grill), with a lovely view. When you arrive you feel like you are coming into a beloved family cabin, which is exactly what we want.
We also appreciated how quickly the owners responded to all of our questions as we were planning our trip.
Would highly recommend.
Came up north with friends for a couple days ice fishing. The cabin worked well for our group, is clean, and is as advertised. Well equipped kitchen, soft towels and linens. Would recommend this cabin to others. Very convenient location and great communication from the owners. Will stay again!
Stayed a couple of nights with friends and business associates. Clean house, matches description and close to town and restaurants. Guest House is a cool perk. Quiet neighborhood.
This property offers all you need for a family gathering. It is rooming and very accommodating for all. The lakeside view, shore and patio was our favorite! The location is perfect for biking, walking and driving to all the local favorites! Thank you Kevin and Craig!
This location is center to all of Crosslake. Easy walk-in to the lake. Sunfish circle the dock for fun fishing experience. Easy boating access to all of the Whitefish chain. Owners are accessible and prompt in their response to renter questions.
The cabin's location and number of beds suited our group well. It is situated on quiet water that was perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. We also enjoyed the game room every evening. Top notch communication with owner. Thank you!

Excellent rental for families or small groups. The kids loved fishing from the dock which let them busy most of the time.
The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
Centrally located and within walking distance to most restaurants and stores.
The additional cabin is super cute and very clean for overflow guests and quite spacious.
The boat rental option was a highlight for us as the boat is very well kept and having the option to get around via water is so fun!
We highly recommend this rental!

Thanks for the review and feedback, Molly. We'd love to have your group back!
Cozy and well stocked. The two cabins held our 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 3 to 14) with plenty of room. House layout allows people to have their own space. Plenty of outdoor seating for all. We brought our own boat and loved exploring the chain of lakes. (Also loved the restaurants accessible by boat.) Beach area by our dock was too weedy for kids swimming but a company came in while we were there and removed some of it, which helped. We found boating to the amazing sandbar on Cross Lake worked best for kids swimming. Kids also loved fishing off our dock for small bass and sunfish. The ice cream shop in town is a must to visit with 36 flavors. We had a wonderful vacation. Suggesting a blanket for the guest cabin and maybe an extra saucepan and frypan in main cabin. Dishes and bakeware provided...fantastic! We didn’t find any beach towels but had brought out own.
The location was great. The accommodations were good. I feel that it was surfaced clean but not deeply cleaned. The smell in the basement was somewhat overwhelming. We enjoyed the outside but disappointed that the lake wasn’t really swimming friendly. The website description made it look better. Overall, we gave our stay a 6.
Thank you ,

Mary, thank you for your stay and feedback.
1) I have spoken with our cleaners regarding your cleaning feedback, so thank you again for letting me know of your concern.
2) We hire a professional weed removal company called Dive Guys to pull weeds in the swimming area and around the dock. However, weeds can float in during windy days or high boat traffic and the swimming area and beach need to be raked. We have beach and weed rakes in the garage for guests use.
3) This is the first feedback we have ever received regarding a smell in the basement. I'm not sure what this is referring to and we had guests stay in the property immediately after your departure. With over 100 nights booked this summer, there has been no complaints and of this and nearly 1/3 of our guests this summer have rebooked for next summer. We would have certainly come and checked this out during your stay if we were notified.
About the host
Hosted by Kevin & Craig
We’ve always loved spending time in the Crosslake area and on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. The lakes, boating, and small-town feel make it one of our favorite places to relax and spend time with family and friends.
We purchased this property because it offered something that is hard to find — a spacious lake home with a separate guest cabin, which makes it perfect for larger families or two families vacationing together. Some of our best memories here have been morning fishing, afternoons boating (and waterskiing) on the Whitefish chain, and evenings around the firepit with our kids.
We enjoy sharing the property with guests who are looking for the same type of experience — a comfortable place to gather with family, enjoy the lake, and make lasting summer memories.
We do our best to make sure guests have everything they need for a great stay and are always happy to provide recommendations for things to do around Crosslake.
Why they chose this property
Crosslake is one of the most unique lake communities in Minnesota. The area offers the beauty and quiet of a classic lake town, while still having great restaurants, shops, and activities nearby.
One of the things we love most about this location is how close it is to town while still feeling like a peaceful lake retreat. Crosslake Town Square is just minutes away, making it easy to grab dinner, visit local shops, or stop by places like 14 Lakes Brewing, Zorbaz, Moonlite Bay, or The Wharf.
Daggett Lake also provides easy access to the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, which offers miles of boating, fishing, and exploring. Guests often spend the day cruising the chain, visiting lake restaurants, or simply enjoying time out on the water.
It’s a great combination of a relaxing lake setting with convenient access to everything Crosslake has to offer.
What makes this property unique
One of the things that makes this property stand out is the layout. In addition to the main lake cabin, there is a separate guest house just steps away. This setup works especially well for larger families, multi-generational groups, or two families vacationing together who want to share a lake experience while still having some privacy and space.
The property also offers a large yard and outdoor space to enjoy the lake, with a private dock, firepit area, and plenty of room to relax outside.
Another unique feature is the location. While many lake homes feel remote, this property is just minutes from Crosslake’s restaurants, shops, and activities, making it easy to enjoy both the lake and the town during your stay.
For guests who want to spend more time on the water, a boat may also be available to rent during your stay, allowing you to easily explore the Whitefish Chain without needing to bring your own boat.
Overall, it’s a great place for families and groups looking for a comfortable lake retreat with plenty of space, easy boating access, and proximity to everything Crosslake has to offer.
