We had a great stay for a few days while visiting family. The cottage is easy to find and access. While not directly on the water, it was just a quick walk down the driveway to the shoreline. Beautiful to sit out on the dock and listen to the waves.Check in/out was very easy, and meeting Frankie the property friendly feline, was a highlight!
This is a rustic but cute cabin with one bath and two sleeping rooms. It is not on the water. You have access to a dock. There is parking off street and the area is very safe. We enjoyed our stay.
The charming cabin was the perfect place for me to rest and unwind from a hectic year. The bed was so comfy, the kitchen very convenient, the bathroom small but perfectly adequate, lots of books, puzzles for those in need. The bluff was a wonderful place to watch the sunrises and the beauty of Lake Huron. The hosts were very helpful and responsive to my questions.
We loved the rustic vibe in this cozy cabin. So clean and maintained nicely. It was a short walk to see the lake with a sturdy dock and nice seating. Even w/o air conditioner we were comfy. Two fans and nice flow from windows. Such a great way to relax!
The property is clean, well stocked and inviting. We truly enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the bench next to the water, sun on our face was spectacular. Host was very welcoming.
The cottage is exactly as described. The setup with the bathroom between the two bedrooms is great, and we appreciated the restaurant recommendations. Excellent location for birding in the State Park, and seeing a little group of red-breasted mergansers floating on the lake—while taking the dog around the property for a last little walk before we left—was a bonus.
The cottage was nicely furnished and comfortable. Being so close to Lake Huron was marvelous! The presence of Loons one morning and deer near the road nearly every day was certainly a plus. The coffee was marvelous. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were genial.Thank you!1
We enjoyed ourselves very much. Property was very clean; very quiet, close by to town and the beaches in the area. The hosts were wonderful people and great to deal with.
This cabin was perfect for a great rustic and cozy vacation. The hosts were very nice. If you book in the winter, be aware that it is winter-proofed in a way that we were unable to see outside. Not a big deal since it still let light in, but a little odd. We loved our stay! Would for sure recommend.
