So good I had to rent again

This was our 2nd stay in this 2nd floor condo. This condo complex is perfect for families with young children and is walking distance (5 minutes) to the beautiful beaches of Wailea, no roads to cross. There is also a pool at the pavillion. Soak in the beautiful views of the ocean from the kitchen and lanai. Fully-stocked condo kitchen with microwave and flat cook top and Weber BBQ makes meal preparation a breeze. New upgrades : Brand new front load washing machine/ dryer, new lanai dinette set for eating outside and sipping coffee while reading your latest novel, extra storage area for luggage. Lots of hangers/ drawers for clothes. There is convenient easy parking step from your unit. Fast WiFi. Owner is a travel agent and can help you with car rental. Owner is trustworthy and accepted certified cheque via mail from Canada. Saves quite a bit in CC charges. Be aware that this is like staying in someone's home and there is no maid service, so you should expect to clean up after yourself. I do not mind this at all and condo is well stocked with cleaning supplies/ equipment.

Great Condo. Highly recommended.

We recently returned from a family vacation which included 7 nights at this condo. This is a great condo. It was very clean. The "double head" shower is excellent (great for washing dirty feet without getting rest of body wet). Excellent garden and ocean views from the kitchen as it is an upper floor unit. The sunsets from the lanai are breathtaking. This condo is very comfortable - the kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything. The bedroom bed is very comfortable (more comfortable than what I sleep on at home). We could make many meals here instead of going to a restaurant. I used the gas BBQ to make 2 dinners and one lunch. Kids enjoyed sand toys and inflatable rings for floating in the ocean. Ceiling fans throughout the condo were useful - didn't need a/c at all. But you won't find yourself in the condo much during the day with the pools and ocean so close. The owner is very professional and trustworthy. I sent her a certified cheque from Canada (to save the credit card charge). No problems. She did take deposit via Credit card (no extra fee). Only complaint was that the mattress on the sleeper sofa is not very comfortable, however, my kids didn't seem to mind. I would rent this unit again and recommend it to anyone.

Nous avons passé une super semaine! La description du propriétaire est exacte et tout était en place. Grand lit confortable, cuisine complètement équipée. Balcon avec superbe vue. Le dénivelé pour aller à la plage est un peu élevé pour ceux avec difficulté de mobilité.

Best option for Maui stay

I have been visiting Maui for more than 15 years, typically stay in South Maui condos, very happy to have found Wailea Ekahi Village. Complex strikes the perfect balance of accessibility without feeling crowded, unit and complex offer a more upscale experience at a fair price. Studio is perfect for 2 adults, well equipped and maintained, with a bit dated but sophisticated decor. We will be back!

10 days in paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at 16D unit. We appreciated the convenient location, astonishing view from the unit and the coziness of it all-round. The kitchen is very well supplied, we had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Having breakfast on that lanai every day was unforgettable! Perfect Paradise!

16-D was exactly what we needed and exceeded all our expectations to celebrate our 25th! It was such a beautiful view of the sunsets and we loved eating our meals on the lanai. Joan was wonderful to work with and her video of the property helped us choose when booking. We walked to places without any worries. The pools and overall maintenance of the village were also immaculate with friendly service throughout. Easy access to the beach was perfect too! I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Joan and staying at 16-D. Hope to be back some day soon! Jennifer & Ken Barker

Everything we wanted!

16D was a great place to stay to celebrate our anniversary! The studio condo was perfect for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed and then some. The balcony/lanai had a gorgeous view of the green belt down to the pool and the water/sunsets. The main pool area was incredibly accommodating and we always had chairs for the two of us. This would be a great place for any couple or family. Joan really was easy to communicate with and the management was great. Thanks for everything!

Perfect Home Base

This is the perfect spot for two. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing grounds and view. The room is super comfortable with everything you need for your stay- including a full kitchen. You can walk to the beach and the andaz next door. We will definitely come back!

Wailea getaway

We came to Maui from Oahu for a quick getaway. The condo met all our expectations and is perfect for 2 people. Very clean. Comfortable king size bed. All amenities we needed were there. Walking distance to the shops at Wailea, beach and restaurants. We had a beautiful view of the sunset each night from the lanai. We would definitely book this condo again next time we return!

We had a great stay in 16D. It is beautifully decorated and has all the necessities for your comfort. This is the first time we have tried a studio, and found it to be more than adequate for the two of us. The surrounding grounds are so well maintained and the view of the ocean is spectacular! Wonderfully responsive owner and great location.

This was our third stay at Ekahi but first in this particular condo. Our rental experience was seamless and the owner was immediately responsive to fixing a problem that was created by the previous renters and had nothing to do with the condo itself. The condo is great. Beautiful views. Very comfortable. There is a hike between the condo and the pool/beach, but we both loved the walk up and down. Cannot beat the scenery and the ocean view! We'll be back. Thank you!

16D—A Little Piece of Paradise

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this Hawaiiana style condo! You will find all the comforts of home with the addition of incredible sunset views! What more could you want? The location is the best if you are a walker—one day you will enjoy the Wailea beachfront walk down to the Polo Beach Club; the next day, the beach walk to Kihei town (round trip each walk from 3 1/2 miles to 5 miles). My previous visits to Wailea have always been hotel stays—no more, as long as 16D is available! Thank you for my most memorable time ever!

Lovely, quiet Ekahi

This studio has a lovely view from the lanai and sits on the greenbelt area of the complex. It is a quick walk to the pool and beach. The condo has all you need in a small space that feels more spacious because the lanai is part of the living space in tropical Maui. What makes Ekahi relaxing to us is that we hardly use our car. One can walk to restaurants, coffee, and shopping on the long, sandy beach and boardwalk. Ekahi Village was expertly designed to provide a view of the water or lovely gardens from every unit. The gardens are truly exceptional and lush. Another rejuvenating stay at Ekahi!

In 2013 we purchased Wailea Ekahi Village - 16D
We have 2 daughters and eight grandchildren in the Illinois area. We like to spend leisure time golfing and walking the beaches.

Why they chose this property

The Grounds are a Beautiful Botanical Garden that are a pleasure to view. It is a low rise complex, with an Oceanfront Pool, on 35 acres. You will not find a complex like this being built today.

What makes this property unique

Large Heated Ocean Front Pool with 3 additional pools spread thru the Resort. Covered Oceanfront Pavilion area with Full Kitchen. Wailea Ekahi Village is a Low Rise Resort with the buildings spread out giving a very open feeling. Close to the Shops of Wailea and the Five Star Hotels of Wailea are Walking Distance.
