About this property

The Whistle Stop Tiny House- Close to Downtown, light rail, Sloans Lake

This tiny house is ideally located just a block from the light rail, playground, a the bike path that runs into downtown (just 15 min if pedaling fast) and Sloans Lake a very popular location to relax with a super cool market area just north of it.
This mini-tudor home is only 450 sq feet but has a living/dining area, full bath, bedroom with queen, closets and a front porch. It is well equipped with most everything you need to cook and serve food on. Please note that the fridge and stove are also tiny, as one might expect.
The Whistle Stop is decorated in train décor, in keeping with the history of the area. The trains used to stop on Tennyson St, just one block away, let the cattle out and they were then herded up to Colfax. The convenient BBQ joints were nearby and at least those are still standing.
This is a month+ rental. Great for travelling nurses, remote workers, University guests etc.
The items provided such as coffee, TP etc are your starter pack and you will refill these as you see fit. The price is lower to reflect this and as a bonus for your longer stay.
We love this little home and can't wait to share it with you.

Amazing little house for our stay

We were in Denver for 2 months and loved our stay at the Whistle Stop! The decor of the house is cute and everything has been very well planned. Although it is a "tiny-home", it never felt too small we had ample room for storage, to cook, to eat, work and relax. We also took advantage of the quick walk to the light-rail, to the Ice Cream store and to the Alamo Draft House!

Great place to stay short or long term

Communication and speed of response to concerns was great. Great location, loved being minutes away from Sloan's lake, belmar, downtown Denver etc ,and friendly neighbor s. Great neighborhood.

This home was built by a young couple who wanted her brother to be able to live on their property. It was never actually a carriage house or garage, it has always been a tiny home. There is a lot packed into this charming place with a long living area, full bath, kitchen and decent sized bedroom.

Why they chose this property

This is an actual home, not a condo, apartment or basement. It is charming and well located. Just down a block to the playground and light rail tracks, 4 blocks to Sloan's Lake, Shopping on the west end of Sloan's Lake, and 2 blocks away on Colfax, just minutes to downtown or a 15 min bike ride on a bike path. It is so convenient. I hope you love it here.
