Welcome to this beautiful waterfront home with a private pier that sits only 50 feet back from the Chesapeake Bay. Located on Kent Island, this home boasts breathtaking views from multiple spots both in and outside the home. Enjoy your morning coffee from the fully-furnished sunroom, and watch the boats go by on the Bay from the private waterfront deck. After grilling a homemade dinner, chill out in the hot tub (open Fall-Late Spring) on one of the other 2 back decks on the house. The home has a total of 4 Bedrooms and 4 Baths, 2 of which are En Suite.



This home is wonderful for families, golfers, boaters, fishermen, bicyclists and runners/walkers. For golfers, the beautiful and challenging executive golf course, The Blue Heron Golf Course, is one mile from the house.



Bicyclists, walkers and runners can enjoy miles of trails on Kent Island. Two of the most popular are the Kent Island South Trail and the Cross Island Trail.

Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age. No smoking/no pets. Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home and the owners do come back from time to time to stay in their property. Please respect the neighbors and neighborhood. No parties or events of any kind.

Pictures Don’t Do It Justice!

This is an amazing house in a great location with an amazing view. Beautiful and very spacious inside with everything you could possibly need while on vacation! The house is warm, clean and cozy. We walked up to the bar and grill up the street several times, which was so convenient. The iTrip staff was wonderful and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. We were extremely happy with our choice to rent this home and will be renting it again on our next visit.

Island Wedding

This waterfront home on Kent Island was better than advertised. Spacious home with both excellent indoor and outdoor amenities. Walking distance to marina, restaurant and bar. Would highly recommend this property for a family getaway or vacation.

Lovely stay

We love staying here. The home is lovely and everything is in great condition. The kitchen was well stocked. The screened in porch is fantastic. As was the deck right above the water. It was fun to watch the boats and the birds go by well sitting facing the bay. We recommend this place!

Nice week-long getaway

The house is very nice, has comfortable furniture, all the amenities we could want. Great views and sunsets. We didn’t use the hot tub because the heat wave was already too hot for us but utilized the “dock deck” daily. Was great watching the water traffic on the Chesapeake and the small planes taking off and landing at the airfield a few houses down. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay in Kent Island

My family has a wonderful stay at Kent Island. The house was very clean with many amenities included: soaps, washer/dryer, towels, dishwasher, cooking utensils, etc. This made our experience very seamless and enjoyable. Fantastic four days

Great bay getaway

Despite the rainy weather from hurricane Debby, our family enjoyed our stay at this house/ property. The property was well appointed and we didn’t need for anything. We loved the porch, the dock and the water views. The house was very clean and there was plenty of space to spread out if needed. It was a peaceful getaway. Our hosts were wonderful and were easy to contact and helpful with information.

Seize the Bay

We enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing. We had plenty of room for our group of 8. I would suggest a Cecil fan in the back bedroom that doesn’t have one since that room doesn’t have an air conditioner vent. It is a very nice place to stay. We were there for a wedding at Kent Island Resort.

Niece Naval Academy Graduation

This place was perfect. We came town for the Naval Graduation and last trip to Annapolis visited the island and fell in love. Everything about our stay was incredible. The layout of the house was perfect and the view was amazing. The bathrooms were clean and way than more than enough extra towels . Kitchen was very well supplied for cooking. Highly recommend you travel a short distance up road to Libby's to eat. 100% would bring family back here.

Amazing trip at Seize the Bay

This is a beautiful home on a beautiful property! Everything was just as described and pictured in the listing. Sitting out on the deck watching the sunset over the bay was spectacular. This was a great place to hang out and have fun with family. Just a short walk down the street is a restaurant with a tiki bar on the beach. We took a 15 minute drive to Annapolis for shopping and a visit to the naval base. Overall a great time was had by everyone. We hope to visit again next year!

Seize the Bay

Excellent property. Everything is described on the website but the owners have taken care to have all of the kitchen accoutrements available that one could use. The hot tub is excellent; as is the dock seating to watch incredible sunsets. There are plenty of books and novels to read - and a very nice touch is the “night lights” positioned throughout the house for night owls. A truly stunning property and easy to access.

Relax and enjoy the scenery

We had a wonderful time staying at this spacious, clean and view friendly home. The bay is so close views from inside the house and the back porch are beautiful. Views from the decks on the house are incredible but the deck on the water is huge and absolutely amazing! The bridge is easily viewed from here, it’s like a public beach town deck but it is all yours. The house itself is very large inside with an open easy to work in kitchen. Plenty of parking. Local restaurants were very good, beaches and parks are nice.

Best birthday ever!

This is an absolutely stunning property and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Came here to celebrate my birthday and relax and this property did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the ocean front views, the jacuzzi was wonderful, and loved the sitting area on the dock. Everything is clean, and the kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook meals. This is such a peaceful environment and truly a rare experience. I could not have had a better place to celebrate my birthday. A big thank you to the owners for everything.

Great house and beautiful location!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and clean with amazing views of the water. The bathrooms are renovated with gorgeous showers. The kitchen is well stocked and large. We spent time in the hot tub (very clean, relaxing, terrific views) and enjoyed the fire pit on the outside living room (also terrific views). At night, we gathered in the den/TV room to watch movies on the very large flat screen TV connected to all our favorite streaming services. And the WIFI is fast and reliable -- a must have with teenagers! Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

Wonderful home with superb views

This is a great property for a large family to share. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. Everything was spotlessly clean and in good working order. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking for a large group. The back yard and deck over the water are fabulous. Our only suggestion is to add a large table(s) capable of seating 8 outside in the yard for dining al fresco. We hope to be back next year.

Beautiful View

The views are fantastic and we had plenty of room for the 3 couples. Just needed more gas to really enjoy sitting by the bay. Another problem we had might just be our ages >65 was how to use the TV. Due to the recent sale the Welcome Book had not been updated and there is not recycling. Everyone in the group agreed the place was fantastic

The views and location were fantastic and the house was clean overall. However the house could use some maintenance. While we were there the dishwasher was broken, the starter for the outdoor fireplace didn’t work, and the AC in all the bedrooms but one was not working. The owners also need to update the guide to note which beaches are public and which are private.
