Great stay. Property was clean and comfortable. Only thing i would change is the available channels on the tv. Otherwise i would recommend this property to others.

Alone time

We wanted a trip with no kids and chose the Honey Bear cabin, we were greatly impressed with how accurate the property description was. We love the privacy , how beautiful the cabin is and how close it is to both Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge.

Nice cabin, picture not accurate.

Clean nice home, host responded quickly to minor issue.The picture with view of mountain from hot tub in listening must be an old picture, it was the reason I rented it. Upon arrival we realized that it was grown over with tree's and vegetation.There isn't a view at all except for closed in woods.I would have stayed somewhere else with an actual view of the mountains if I'd known.

Perfect Honeymoon Cabin

We had such an awesome time here! We played games and enjoyed the hot tub. The jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom was spectacular as well. Will definitely rent again!!!

We had a really great few days at the Honey Bear. It was cozy, and quaint, just like the online listing would depict. We were visited (at the window) by a bear one evening while eating dinner ... so I suppose the cabin gets its name honestly. :)

Weekend trip

This was the first time me and the fiancé used vrbo. They made it super easy for use! the first night, the heat didn't wotk. They got maintenance to the cabin in less that 30 minutes. We had a great time!

EVERYTHING WAS GOOD EXCEPT THE POOL TABLE. THE FELT WAS TORN SO WE WE'RE UNABLE TO USE THE POOL TABLE. OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD STAY AGAIN!

Honeybear

Cabin was nice. 2 people working 12 hour shifts hours from each other made it very hard with the “needs to be signed by this time”. Beware of all the fees added. I booked such short notice that I would have lost money if I cancelled after realizing all the fees. Communication when renting a place could be way better! We enjoyed our stay but won’t return this cabin.

Honeymoon

Tub was clogged and wouldn’t drain, bathroom sink dripped the whole week we were there. Maintenance showed up unannounced a day before we were leaving even though I spoke to the property manager the day we arrived about these things and they only fixed the tub issue, even though according to other reviews I saw it’s been an ongoing issue. We had to unload previous vacationers dishes from dishwasher to load ours, which I thought is the cleaning companies duty. Absolutely NO view like the pictures. Trees covered the whole “view”. The only good thing that we got to see was a family of bears at the cabin.

Nice stay between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

There is nothing bad to say about this property or the stay. We followed the included directions (along with GPS) to see how accurate it was and both led us right to the cabin. Reading prior reviews are somewhat misleading...yes this cabin is close to another on the hot tub side, however, there is a large tree/bush that blocks the view quite well, plus the back porch section is elevated. Not a problem. The front porch light didnt work but im sure its just a bulb and we didnt need it anyways so no issue there. The view is obstructed, but lets be real...its nature and nature wiĺl take over especially in a forest area. Again not a problem. Other than those 3 things, which were no problem to us, it was exactly what we wanted/needed/paid for. Would happily stay there again. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Property should not be listed

Entire cabin was full of cobwebs, dirty dishes in the cabinets, shower spicket wobbly- I thought it was going to fall out of the wall, screens on windows were falling off- again full of cobwebs- blinds inside cabin were bent- back door was open when we got there- hard to lock. I have been staying in cabins in this area 15+ years- this is the 1st cabin I have stayed to have a terrible experience- do not recommend to anyone. Also- bathroom door would not latch shut- had to use the bathroom with the door open all weekend. Did request and receive cleaning fee refund but I feel like the entire stay should be refunded- it was that terrible. Heating element reader on hot tub does not work- 85 degrees was burning hot- typical hot tub temps are 99-101.

Problems at the cabin.

We were very disappointed with our stay. In general, the property was not really clean. There were cobwebs in many places, dirty return air grill, rip in the pool tabletop, loose commode seat, missing toilet paper holder, mini blinds extremely dusty, unable to get the jacuzzi to work (later found out that a ground fault had tripped.), no closet for hang up cloths. dripping bathroom sink, no drain plug in the sink, loose shower fixtures in the bathtub, torn cover on outdoor hot tub and trouble with the TV in the bedroom. The pool table does not have sufficient room due to other games in the room and there was no ball rack. The bed mattress was very noisy every time you moved. The road to the property makes it almost impossible to find without a GPS. I sent pictures to the property manager and the property manager did have maintenance to come and fix several of the things, but he was unable to fix some of them.

THE INDOOR HEART SHAPED TUB IS NOT A JACUZZI! Owner wouldn't respond to question about it either.

Our first morning there the outdoor jacuzzi stopped heating the water. At 10:30 that morning I informed the owner it had stopped working. Later that day I had to ask when the maintenance guy was going to show up. I was told he would be there before 6pm. At 6pm no one had come to fix it and when I inquired about it the owner was very upset that I had asked about it and was very rude. Finally aroud 7pm the jacuzzi was fixed. It was simply changing the filter. Why we had to wait until 7pm for maintenance to come is unacceptable. The jacuzzi is the main reason to stay in a cabin. The cabin also needs some more kitchen equipment. The can opener doesn't work, only 3 forks, no baking sheet. The play room is nice but there are 2 pool sticks but only 1 with a tip. The owners really need to resupply the cabin and stop advertising 2 Jacuzzis. The heart tub is just an old jacuzzi tub it is not a working jacuzzi!

No view

Not too happy with the stay. The listing shows a great view from the back deck but in reality that view is completely blocked by trees. The consumables in the house are low quality (toilet paper, etc). The amount of space on the top floor is very limited, not enough for a pool table. I stubbed my toe on the ski ball machine. The bed is extremely creaky, every time I or my partner moved it woke the other up.

Nice Father/son stay

Overall had a great visit. We enjoyed the games and hot tub and also being fairly close to attractions. Only issues were the skee ball game stopped working after one game and the hot tub opening bar was broken but no other complaints. Highly recommended.

Fun but dark.

There was not a lamp in the house. You had to stumble in the dark. So if you book this place, bring a lamp. The coffee pot was dirty and the heart tub was questionable. We enjoyed our stay very much. My daughter loved it. I tried to talk this over with Sherry during check out. She got upset because I asked you what time check out was. She messaged me and said she had emailed it to me. I could not find it and told her about the lamps. There was no reply. I had explained to her I had short term memory loss from a bad car wreck. I felt she could have worked with me a little. Not asking for much. I very much enjoyed my time there with my daughter but will not return. I mean not one lamp for how much it cost.
