It’s a lovely property but only suited for those who can climb outdoor stairs. When we had issues, the host fixed them and addressed them very quickly. She was very responsive as was the housekeeper.

This was the 2nd time I have stayed here and it was amazing as usual. The birds and view is amazing. As someone with anxiety, this was my happy place. Miriam is an amazing host, she lets you know everything that is needed. Wet sweet person. Beware of the steps lol (if you have bad knees) and poison ivy. It’s nature though I expect it. Best two days of my life.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful place. We felt right at home. The only thing that wasn’t stellar was cell service but we were warned about this from the host ahead of time. On the plus side, it encourages you to unplug and enjoy the moments.

It’s a pretty good place for the price. If you want a view of the mountains you’re not going to get much. The WiFi was inconsistent. You couldn’t sit on the deck because the gutters were messed up so water dripped down on you. It’s a place that just needs some updating.

The gutter is being repaired - thank you for bringing it to our attention. Regarding the Wi-Fi, Brightspeed was in our community last week installing new fiber cables, so the chalet now has a much stronger and reliable internet connection!

The chalet was not ready at the time we were told we could enter. The bathtub was not clean. The bath mat had glass in it, so that tells me it was not shaken and cleaned. There was spider webs everywhere. The deck was falling apart. There was only two washcloths left for guest of three for two nights. But Marion did help us get some more. I have stayed in many vrbos first time in a chalet and I think it will be my last.. Miriam did offer us extra night, but could not stay due to having to go back to work. I just think she needs to get a new house cleaner...

The view was stunningly beautiful- I can tell it would be anytime of the year. Check in and out was smooth, host was proactive and accommodating. Basic supplies were there in both bath and kitchen-even some games.

Loved our stay

The house was exactly as described and perfect for our long weekend getaway. There was lots of areas for hiking nearby and perfectly located for a day in Mt Airy. Comfy beds, nice big towels, great shower water pressure, well stocked kitchen, lovely views, easy parking at the house, We’d definitely stay here again.

Great place. And owner is excellent.

Stayed here while i had some meetings in the area. Its right off the blue ridge parkway. Perfect for site seeing and many other mountain activities.

Wonderful spot with all the comforts of home

Great view and lots of attention to detail by the owners. Very helpful and communicative. Would certainly stay here again on our next visit to the area...if we can snag it before anyone else does!
