About this property

Adorable Beach Cottage in Ocean Isle Beach

Relax with family and friends at this peaceful beach house on the beautiful west side of the island. Conveniently located on a beach access street less than 2 blocks from the ocean, no need to drive or find parking. The fully-stocked kitchen is open to great room and all furniture has recently been upgraded, along w/decor & bedding. There are two outdoor showers, one enclosed/private in the backyard. We do allow pets, for an additional fee, so please indicate that when booking.

Entire home, backyard and patio is for guests. Garage and downstairs storage closet will be locked/no access.

3 Queen Bedrooms and 1 bunk room with two sets of twin bunk beds.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

When stripping any used beds, only remove the sheets and not the blankets or pillows. Please put the sheets and towels that need to be laundered in a pile by the washer/dryer

Please roll the trash and recycle bins to the curb for collection on scheduled days and upon departure.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

No smoking in the house and if smoking outside, please dispose of cigarette butts properly.

No parties or large gatherings.

Check-in during peak season/summer months is 4pm to allow ample cleaning time for same day checkouts.

Rooms were incredibly clean. Lisa messaged me back within a few minutes anytime I needed her. Our pups loved the fenced in backyard. Very short walk to the beach which was great. Direct public beach access under 5 minute walk. 20 minute walk to the center of town. The location is absolutely perfect for a peaceful family vaca. We can’t wait to book our next trip here!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful beach cottage. It is in the perfect mid-island location annd had everything we needed for our spring beach vacation. We particularly enjoyed all the decks!

My family of 9 people had a great time in this rental. The walk to the beach is a straight shot and the walkway onto the beach is more of a ramp so there were no stairs which was nice. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and the kitchen is stocked with the items you will need. We had all the info for easy check in and out. Lisa even let us know they were still doing fireworks the day we got there so lots of excitement from the kids. No one wanted to leave when our time was up!

Fabulous long weekend

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the house and OIB. The house was as advertised, beds were comfortable and loved the fenced yard since I brought my two dogs. The beach is super easy to access as well!! Would definitely stay there again!

My husband, Stephen and I live in Charlotte, NC with our two boys, Hudson & Paxton. We met in NYC and my husband's entire family resides in Charlotte, so we moved there shortly after getting married. I grew up in Tampa, FL and spent almost every weekend at the beach, so I have been longing for a beach house of our own. We love the small town feel of Ocean Isle Beach, but also enjoy that there is plenty to do in addition to going to the beach. This home is more than just a vacation rental, it was owned by our close friends since the early 1980's and full of many years of memories. This is now our family vacation home, and we are happy to share it with you, and your family & friends. Please care for it as if it were your own.

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Ocean Isle Beach for years and have stayed at this home quite a few times on vacation ourselves. So, when the opportunity arose that our dear friend's family decided to sell this house, we immediately jumped on it! It is the perfect size home and the location on the island is perfect! Short walk to both the ocean and the intercoastal, with views of both from the crow's nest on top of the house!
