Addressing the Corona Virus:
We meet all state requirements for health and safety. We have 3 private suites with 2 adults maximum per suite. We have a no contact simple self check if requested. There is no community breakfast as you have a private kitchen in each suite and we supply an in-room breakfast. Our breakfast includes Gourmet Bavarian Waffles, sausages, 3 kinds of muffins, 3 kinds of fresh fruit, 3 types of cereal, coffee, teas and hot cocoa. We are #1 on TripAdvisor for Leavenworth Bed and Breakfasts for cleanliness and privacy. Plenty of Outdoor walks and Leavenworth's wonderful Alpine air, with the beauty of the Wenatchee River from your private patio.

The Chalet is our Adults Only (maximum 2 guests) suite with a beautiful river view, private entry, private balcony and private Jacuzzi hot tub. It's your home away from home; cozy with a lodge decor. There are full cooking facilities, king sized bed, couch and glider rocker. The Chalet is all one space (not with a separate bedroom). The Chalet has a large flat screen HD TV plus a Blue-Ray player. Haus Hanika has a large collection of over 150 DVD's which are complimentary. Breakfast is provided in your room with the makings for sausages, Bavarian Waffles, and there are 3 kinds of cereal, 3 kinds of fresh fruit, 3 kinds of muffins, milk, juice, coffee pot with provided coffee, teas, and hot cocoa. You will love getting away from it all with no schedules! Your getaway with a private hot tub on the Wenatchee River in Leavenworth!

Included is a bistro table with umbrella on your private balcony, king size bed with AC, large flat screen HD TV with Blueray DVD player, WI-FI, cozy glider/rocking chair, large sofa bed couch, private bath, full kitchen with microwave, gas stove, full size double sink, fridge and is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, wine glasses, toaster, 12 cup coffee maker, coffee, and breakfast in your suite. All with a beautiful river view! Sleeps 2 adults maximum.

We are just one mile from town. Walk or bike or take the shuttle service called Leavenworth Shuttle that takes you to town and when you want to return, just give them a call.

Four seasons of fun with summer time river rafting, golfing within four blocks, hiking and back packing, horseback riding, walking to the charming Bavarian village of Leavenworth and checking out the shops, relaxing with a book by river, or rock climbing just down the road, or go swimming in the pool in town. Winter sports of downhill skiing only 25 min. drive at Stevens Pass, cross country skiing only 1 mile away, inner tubing with rope tow at Ski Hill 5 minutes away, sleigh rides and snowshoeing close by.

Leavenworth was voted The #1 Christmas Town USA for the amazing Lighting Festival on the 1st 3 weekends of December every year. Other festivals during the year include: Maifest, Oktoberfest, Salmonfest, Autumn Leaf Festival, Icefest, and many others. Beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights. The property is beautifully maintained and the room we stayed in was clean and well decorated. The included breakfast was easy to make and nice to have available. For the summer months the A/C was great to have. Ted and Sandy were lovely hosts!

One of the best places to stay out of town

As the title says, its great for outside of the town. A little more than 1.5 miles to town but wasn't a deal breaker for my wife and I. We look forward to coming back sometime. We loved having breakfast stocked in our room, it gave a different feel to this B&B.

Such a relaxing stay here! Enjoyed the ambiance next to the river, the jacuzzi was amazingly comfortable, bed felt a but stiff initially but was surprisingly comfortable and we slept great! Love the comforts of having a kitchen available although we didn't take advantage beyond the fridge. Very quick drive to the hustle n bustle of Leavenworth! Would definitely stay again.

What a great stay

We loved our 4 days in the Chalet. Communication with the owners was prompt, and we appreciated the in-person welcome when we arrived. The room had everything we needed (toiletries in the bathroom, snacks, kitchen essentials, air conditioning). We especially enjoyed the make-your-own waffle breakfast. It was really nice to have a fresh breakfast but at our own pace. We enjoyed being able to sit by the river and read, and the private jacuzzi was nice after our hike to Eight Mile Lake. We can't wait to return.

Perfect getaway gem!

This place was the perfect weekend getaway in gorgeous Leavenworth. The unit was a great size, perfectly stocked with delicious breakfast fixings and kitchen necessities, and the most amazing hot tub for 2. Short walk to town and lots of nearby hikes and river views. Haus Heaven in Leavenworth

Three wonderful days celebrating wife's BD here! Hosts could not be nicer or more helpful. Locations about a mile from the village; nice & quiet, on the RIVER. We had the Chalet; the larger room with a kitchen, King bed, private deck & hot tub - partial river view, but just steps away from open common area with chairs right on the river. Breakfast basket with fresh waffle batter in fridge - which we used every morning. Overall wonderful visit; highly recommend.

Love Leavenworth

We had a great stay at Sandy's place. I was well taken care of and had all that we needed. Breakfast was included which was sausages, and waffle mix. I didn't eat it because I have Celiac Disease and can't have gluten, but how sweet was that. And great muffins that I cheated on. The jacuzzi and the place was immaculately clean. We were greeted on arrival and told how everything worked. Great view too!! I would recommend this place for sure and maybe will be back that way again.

The Chalet was better than the photos!!

We were in Leavenworth for a wedding. Little did we know we would have a wonderful little romantic getaway while staying in The Chalet at Haus Hanika. The photos don't do this beautiful location justice. We had coffee on our deck looking at the river each morning and ended each evening with a glass of wine listening to the river. The kitchen was stocked to perfection, the bathroom had an abundance of towels and the living space was darling! Every attention to detail was considered. Our hosts, Sandy and Ted, we're welcoming and very friendly. Ted even loaned a belt to my husband because he forgot to pack one. That's what I call going above and beyond!! We will definately return and suggest friends visit this awesome home away from home.

Romantic birthday getaway

Ted and Sandy have the perfect spot little "Chalet" for a weekend getaway in famous Leavenworth in the year-round beauty of the Cascades. They've thought of everything to make your stay amazing and cozy down to the do-it-yourself "Bavarian waffle" bar in your room, the drink service window for the hot tub, and a library of DVDs. They are lovely hosts and will make sure your stay is perfect. Just outside town for peace and quiet but close enough that everything is within minutes - and the bed is amazing! You won't regret staying at Haus Hanika!

We have lived in the Pacific Northwest our whole lives, with Ted being raised in Seattle and Sandy being raised in the Edmonds area. We started coming to Leavenworth when we first met 35 years ago and loved the area. We have always been drawn to the sunshine, diversity of activities and beautiful scenery of Leavenworth area. So, we purchased our property on the river and decided to build a B and B. We love sharing the beauty of this area with all of our guests and look forward to your arrival!

It's so great to be close to downtown Leavenworth but also being on the river relaxing in natural surroundings. There are so many diverse recreational activities right in our 'back yard'. Winter sports include; cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snow boarding, tubing, snow shoeing, sleigh rides and snow snowmobiling. Summer, spring and fall sports and fun include; rafting or tubing the Wenatchee River, rock climbing right down Icicle Road from us, golfing, horseback riding, swimming, backpacking, hiking, biking and fishing.

Our goal is for you to have no schedule and ultimate privacy while you are here. Daily life can be so busy that you never get a chance to just unwind. That's why we have your breakfast already in your room when you arrive so that you don't have to be anywhere at any special time in the morning. No schedule! And a private hot tub Jacuzzi!

Also, we are within walking distance to downtown Leavenworth and all the festivals, shops, restaurants and activities. We are one block to golfing and 1 mile to cross country skiing and horseback riding.
