North Boston

Enjoyed the stay. Apartment was clean & beds were comfortable. Gym was perfect & not busy at all. Subway was very close so getting around was easy. Plenty of restaurants & a grocery store all within walking distance. You are by Mass General but actually not as noisy as one would think. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 12 nights while my daughter recovered from surgery. It’s a spacious, clean, bare bones yet functional space. It is perfect for surgical recovery or medical treatment because it’s conveniently located across the street from Mass General. You simply walk across the street and can access the entire hospital. Beds and pillows were comfortable, kitchen was adequately supplied (had everything we needed, but pots and pans could stand to be replaced). Having a washer and dryer in the unit was added bonus. There is a 24 hour doorman who can accept packages and deliveries, which was convenient and made us feel safe. The area is all high rise apartments buildings, so it is very residential and safe. Lots of medical professionals live in the building. It’s about an 8-10 minute walk to Whole Foods and CVS, 15 min walk to shops on Charles St, 20 min walk to Boston Common, and 25-30 min walk to Newberry St. Very convenient location. There’s a pedestrian bridge right on the corner by the building that connects to the bike/walking path along the Boston side of the Charles River. The property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful. The only negative thing was the occasional ambulance and construction noise. It wasn’t unbearable, but a couple of times a day the lifeflight helicopter would land at the hospital. Overall it was a great spot to recover and do what we needed to do in the city.
