Cozy Quiet 3BR Fox Cottage 10 min from downtown Hudson

Less than 5 miles from Hudson's bustling Warren Street, tucked away on a quiet private drive is our cozy Fox Cottage. Perfect for an extended getaway, this immaculate 3 bedroom/1 bath peaceful cottage is located just minutes away from local shopping and dining, in a beautiful country setting. Complimentary farm fresh organic eggs available upon request when available (courtesy of 8 rescued hens residing in main house at back of property - no rooster! just quiet ladies and 2 chatty ducks).

Please be advised: this is a lovely rural farm area, there are properties in the neighborhood with dogs, cats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, and lots of bustling wildlife (please do not feed or attempt dance routines with local wildlife should you be lucky enough to meet them!) and birds. While the area is generally very quiet, you may hear critter thoughts and opinions, or neighboring dogs discussing the weather, from time to time.

The space
Guests can use entire cottage (3 Bedrooms, Living Room with Eat-In-Kitchen, full Bathroom all on one floor), along with the surrounding manicured yard.

Just off Rt 9 (Fairview Ave), near Stockport Garage (on Rt 9, Stotville), Fox Cottage is close to many area attractions, shops, and dining. (Please confirm driving directions with host before arrival, some GPS software struggles with our address!)

-Walking distance to the Albany Hudson Electric Trail.
-Greenport Conservation Area: 2.5 miles
-Hudson Amtrak Station: 5.9 miles (14 minute drive)
-Downtown Hudson: less than 5 miles (approx 12 minute drive)
-Walmart Plaza: less than 2 miles
-Shoprite: 2.4 miles

Guests have access to:
Fiber Optic Wifi & Smart TV (guests can log in using their own streaming services)
Parking for two cars max alongside cottage (not to block driveway)
Bed linens and bath towels are provided, as well as a few rolls of TP and Paper Towel.
Kitchen has a stove/oven, full size stainless fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, kettle, basic utensils/dishware/cookware.
Minisplit AC is located in the living room, ceiling fans located throughout. Access requires going up 2 or 3 steps on the front or back porch.
There is no washer/dryer, but there is a laundromat nearby.

Other things to note:
Maximum 6 person overnight occupancy. Unauthorized/undisclosed overnight guests may result in additional guest fees.
No grilling or BBQ permitted.
Absolutely no pets/animals on premises.
Garbage goes out Tuesday for Wed early am pick up.

Long term (2 weeks +) renters note: $75 weekly cleaning fee added for weekly housekeeping services (includes fresh bed linens & towels).

No smoking or vaping indoors. No loud parties. Quiet hours outside from 9pm - 8am.

Outdoor Security Camera Disclosure: there is one outdoor motion sensitive light and camera located in the front yard by the front door.
