One of the many unique features of Sopra Mare are "accordion doors" that can be completely opened to seamlessly merge indoor and outdoor living spaces, enabling you to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and feel of ocean breezes throughout your villa. Located in the prestigious neighborhood of Maria Bluff, your villa is an easy 8 minute drive to the restaurants, shops, and nightlife in Cruz Bay, and 10 to 15 minutes from several of St. John's world famous beaches.

Built in 2009, Sopra Mare offers a modern 1600 square foot 2 level floor plan. The lower level features a well-stocked chef's kitchen with ample cooking and serving equipment (including both coffee & Nespresso machines). The living room features "accordion doors" that lead to an oceanfront balcony. There is also a half bath with two doors accessible from both inside and outside the villa providing convenient bath access from the pool patio and balcony.

The upper level features 2 king bedrooms with private baths. One bedroom features "accordion doors" that lead to an oceanfront balcony. Many guests enjoy watching whales and dolphins breach the ocean surface from both balconies, and binoculars are provided if you wish to get a closer look. An internal staircase connects the main living areas to the bedroom level, eliminating the need to go outside to access your bedroom as is the case in the many "pod-style" villas that pervade the St. John rental market, a welcome feature for families with children and during rain showers.

Outside your villa is a patio with an oceanfront saltwater pool with a solar heater. Saltwater pools are better for your skin and better for the environment than chlorine pools because they require little-to-no chemicals. The solar heater will keep your pool water into the mid-80's as opposed 78-80 degrees where most St. John pools naturally stabilize. There are ample outdoor lounging and dining options on the patio, both in shaded and sunny areas, along with a propane grill for outdoor cooking. And of course, the endless Caribbean Sea views are ever present whether your are inside your villa, on a balcony, or hanging out in your pool or patio. A complimentary cooler, 4 beach chairs and 4 beach towels are also provided for days you choose to visit St. John's world famous beaches.

High speed wireless Internet is accessible everywhere indoors and out. There is off-street parking for 2 vehicles with ample space to turn around. The water supply in your villa is filtered by a top-of-the-line 3-stage UV water filtration system that delivers bottled water quality through every faucet in your villa, and an automatic backup generator keeps you powered up through the occasional power outages that occur on this remote island paradise. Trash service is provided to eliminate the need to make dumpster runs during your stay which is a common requirement for many rental villas on the island.
