Cozy Family House in Valle Crucis, Central to All

This peaceful setting in Valle Crucis is central to all High Country attractions and all skiing, but feels like you're tucked away from it all. Walk to the Watauga River, a short drive or walk to Valle Crucis park and Mast General Store. Our home accommodates families at all stages, with two separate living areas, kids toys, ping-pong, corn hole, basketball, and outside living spaces like a fire pit, hammock nest, and deck.

You’re 15 minutes to the App State campus, 20 minutes to Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Mountain ski areas, and 30 to the top of Beech! Just a short drive to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain!

You’ll need a car to access this home. In winter, the road to access this home is maintained by the state, and the access road that leads to our home is not steep. But, our driveway is steep. Four wheel drive is recommended in the winter, but it is not needed during the warmer months.

If we have snow in the area, we try to clear our driveway but we cannot promise that the driveway will be cleared on your arrival. We will do our best to clear the driveway but we rely on service providers to support us, and during busy times and heavy snow we are not always prioritized.
