Welcome to 1 Abundant Life, a beautiful 3-story log cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Boone, Blowing Rock, and Valle Crucis, NC. Located on 2.4 private acres, its wooded setting will feel secluded and secure yet Abundant Life is only minutes from Boone and Valle Crucis (home of the Original Mast General Store).

Sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Blue Ridge Mountains in this tastefully decorated High Country retreat. Comfortable furniture and the owner's many personal touches will help you get in the vacation mood. If you've got a taste for the outdoors, grab a rocking chair on the front porch, enjoy a soak in the oh-so-relaxing hot tub or take a stroll down the peaceful winding road.

The main level contains a delightfully furnished living room with leather sofas, gas-log, stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and 32-inch cable HDTV with DVD player, a covered deck with rockers, a bedroom with two queen-sized beds and cable TV, a bedroom with a bunk bed, twin on top, full underneath, and a teepee playhouse for kids plus a TV, a full bathroom, a dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen has been stocked with everything you need, whether you're preparing a large group meal or a romantic dinner for two.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed. The huge master suite with a King-sized poster bed, cable TV, sitting area, and private full bathroom is across the hall. Snuggle up with your favorite book and catch a nap in one of the two overstuffed chairs in the cozy sitting area.

Downstairs is another getaway in itself with a well-furnished den with cable TV and gas-log fireplace and a second master suite with a King-sized bed, cable TV and private bathroom. A game room is on this floor as well, with a pool table, foosball table, and an arcade game. The deck has been expanded to include the 6-person hot tub overlooking the mountain views, and a firepit and benches awaits just beyond the deck.

Neighborhood amenities include: A public 9 hole, par 3 golf course (Willow Creek Golf Course) within one mile from the cabin.

Conveniently located between Boone and Valle Crucis, this wonderful log home is only minutes from every High Country attraction including Valle Crucis Community Park on Watauga River. You'll love coming home to 1 Abundant Life! Please note that this home has more than ten stairs to enter the main level.

Additional notes:
• All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
• Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
• This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
• Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
• Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
• No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
• Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
• No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
• 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
• Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
