Mr. Pink`s is an original 1960 mid century modern Alexander holiday home. The home was designed by architects Palmer and Krisel and built by the Alexander Construction Company. This newly completed restoration rehab is perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather of Palm Springs and relaxing with panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains.

Mr. Pink`s is managed by BANGTEL. This three bedroom home makes for a perfectly sized getaway with an expansive private backyard that has a heated pool, gas BBQ, fire pit, ping pong table, mini golf & corn hole. The home is extensively open and airy, the characteristic MCM clearstory and floor to ceiling windows bathe the main living areas in an abundance of natural light, a predominant design feature of the Palm Springs indoor/outdoor lifestyle.

This is one large bathroom, since there is no wall between the tubs. (There are double shower curtains.) An original architectural concept of Krisel`s design.

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW

Located in the heart of Historic Racquet Club Estates, the home is within walking distance to many parks, the aerial tramway and just a 5 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. The grocery store is 2 minutes away. You are close to lots of vintage shopping and all the shops and restaurants the downtown has to offer. Hop over to El Paseo if you were wanting to buy a Gucci bag or stop into BLT to get a rare vintage designer bag. You are 15 minutes from Desert Hot Springs and 40 minutes from La Quinta. The Farmer’s Market is just 5 minutes away and is every Saturday. The Vintage Market is every second Sunday of the month.

GETTING AROUND

The airport is a 5 minute drive, Uber or Lyft. You can also rent an exotic car or convertible on Turo and cruise around with the top down.

Our concierge will reach upon your booking to see if they can help with any special requests or needs such as stocking the fridge, helping load in your items, or help with booking a private chef for a special dinner at the property.

Pool heat is an additional $85/day, which is the actual cost of the gas to heat the pool. Pool heat must be booked for all stay dates and will remain at 88 degrees. We are currently looking into a solar option, which would then be free.

*Child Safety: All doors in the home going to the backyard patio have an alarm option to alert you when someone opens a back door. This is a safety feature that can be turned ON or OFF depending on your preference.

Before you start living your best life in Palm Springs, we have three things we need from you-

A copy of your photo ID

Your signature on our rental agreement

Lastly, be sure to review and sign the Good Neighbor brochure from the city of Palm Springs.

The number of people on the property should match the number on your reservation. If you’re planning to invite extra guests, let us know at least 24 hours before they show up.

Please respect the check-in and checkout times listed in your reservation—unless you’ve already worked out a different plan with us ahead of time.
Need an earlier check-in or a later check-out? We got you! Just keep in mind, we can only confirm this 24-48 hours before your arrival, as it depends on the guests checking in or out before/after you. But here’s what’s available:

10 AM Early Check-in = $200

1 PM Early Check-in = $150

1 PM Late Check-out = $150

4 PM Late Check-out = $200

Furry Friends & Service Animals:

Pets stay with us for $50 per pet. Please just let us know if you’re bringing along your furry friend, so we can ensure everything is all set.
We love your furry pals, but they need to be house-trained before they check in. (No one wants an impromptu “indoor water feature” on the rug.)

Our beds and couches are super comfy, but we kindly ask your pet to respect the boundaries.

Please scoop up after your pets and we kindly request that they not be left unattended.

If your pet does decide to redecorate with some furniture damage or starts a neighborhood concert (aka noisy complaints), we’ll have to ask you to foot the bill for repairs.

Cleanup:

Please leave the property in the same condition as when you arrived.

Dispose of all trash in the correct receptacles outside (they’re clearly marked, so no need to guess). If you use the wrong one, you might discover an unexpected fine.

Leave furniture where you found it or move it back if you do.

Before you go, turn off all lights, shut windows, and lock the doors. Think of it like tucking the house in for the night.

Smoking:

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE PROPERTY. There’s a $1,000 charge if you’re caught smoking indoors or if we can still smell last night’s smoke after you’ve checked out (we’re very sensitive like that and the next guests checking in may be too). Feel free to light up outside, but be a good sport and please dispose of your cigarette butts properly. Let’s keep the property looking and smelling fresh. We appreciate you!

Party Glitter + Confetti:

PARTY GLITTER OR CONFETTI IS NOT ALLOWED. Sure, glitter and confetti are the life of the party, but they’re also the nightmare of cleanup. It’s like trying to catch a rainbow in a vacuum cleaner.

If you bring glitter or confetti inside the property (or anywhere on the premises), we’ll charge you a $250 fee. Consider it a `glitter tax` for making us battle with tiny sparkly bits for days.

Photoshoots:

No professional photos or videos allowed without BANGTEL’s prior written permission. We love a good Insta moment, but if you’re planning to turn the property into your personal photo studio, please give us a heads up first! Make sure to let us know before booking or right after, and we`ll let you know if special rates, fees, or conditions apply.

If a photo or video shoot happens without our approval, we’ll charge a fee at our discretion. Not sure if your photography is a professional shoot? Don’t worry, we’re happy to review your work! We promise we’re more lenient than magazine editor, but we still need to know what’s going on behind the lens.

Special Occasions:

Planning to host an event, like a wedding, corporate function, bridal party, or any shindig involving guests not listed in your reservation? Well, unless you`re planning a surprise `Party of the Year` with us as your co-host, you’ll need prior written permission from BANGTEL. No impromptu events—this isn’t the venue for a flash mob, no matter how fun that sounds!

Additional fees apply for hosting special occasions, so let us know in advance and we’ll work out the details. We love a good celebration, but we also love keeping property in tip-top shape.

Be a Good Neighbor:

In Palm Springs, California, the city has a zero tolerance policy for loud music outside the house. If a noise complaint is raised, you’ll be looking at a $1,500 noise violation fee from us, plus the city’s $500 fee.

Pool Heat:

Pool heat is available during the winter months (October 1 to May 1). For the other months, pool heat isn’t needed. The sun’s already got that covered.

Want the pool heated? Let us know at least 48 hours before check-in. We can’t just flick a switch and boom—toasty pool water.
The cost? $75/day. Consider it your daily pass to warm, poolside bliss.Payment is required before check-in and, just so we’re clear, it’s non-refundable.

We can only heat the pool for the full duration of your stay. So, no, we can’t turn it on for just a few days—it’s an all-or-nothing kind of thing.
The pool will be set at a toasty 88 degrees for your stay. It’s a perfect balance—not too hot, not too cold. Sadly, it`s not adjustable, so no `hot tub, but make it a sauna` requests.

For Stays Over 21 Days:

We’ll base the pool heat cost on the actual gas bill for your stay.

A deposit will be taken at booking, so we’ve got the first part covered.

You’ll be billed for the exact amount of pool heat based on your stay’s dates and the gas bill. If there’s any difference, we’ll adjust and let you know.
Final billing will be squared away within 14 days of checkout. No surprises, just transparency.

Long-term Stays (30 days or longer) may require an additional security deposit that will be returned after your checkout as well as payment for cleaning during your stay.
