Nos complace ofrecer una vez más nuestro popular apartamento de invitados apartado, completamente equipado y apartado, con cocina completa, lavandería y entrada privada. Dormitorio de la reina, cama king size en la gran sala de estar y un cómodo sofá doble extraíble (sin bromas) en la sala de estar, que también tiene capacidad para el comedor. (NOTA: Máximo 4 adultos). Cocina completamente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos, incluidos lavavajillas y microondas. La entrada es a través de un depósito de barro con calefacción para esquís, botas y todo tipo de artículos deportivos. Baño con ducha doble, lavadora y secadora. Grandes armarios, televisión por cable, VCR, DVD, estéreo. Cercado en un patio de ladrillos para asar al aire libre / comedor y un pozo de fuego privado recién agregado a la vuelta de la esquina en el lado este del apartamento. Piscina en temporada. The rental was adequate but the kitchen was older, despite the cabinets being painted and the hardware being replaced. The appliances need replacing, including the coffee pot, and the seal around the kitchen sink had mildew, which made cooking unappealing. The hot tub was a nice addition, however, it snowed while we were there making the steps to get in and out slippery and very cold. Also, there is a rental unit above this ground floor unit, and if people walk on the floor late at night, which happened to us, you can hear their footsteps, which woke up our dog who felt protective of us. Primary bedroom was comfortable enough, but the second bed in the back of the unit was less comfortable. The nice part was that we could bring our dog and there was a grassy area right outside the door where you could walk her. The property is very close to the road so we kept her on leash the whole time, although if your dog is well trained, that may not be an issue. It’s adequate for a short stay to get away but probably not for a longer vacation.

The unit was large with plenty of room to move around. It's listed as a one bedroom, but it's one and a very large alcove with a king bed, so there's plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen is large. We did have to purchase some things to accommodate our eating. The temperature was great and the outside quite nice. Although there was a large hot tub, we didn't use it, but would have had we had more time. The only real problem we had was check in. But the communication with the property manager was good. Sandy is very friendly and helpful.

Perfect Getaway

Great stay

The place was perfect for us. There were 3 beds all clean. The pool and hot tub were great. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere but things aren’t a that far of a drive from there. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future.

NIce review Jennifer! Middle of nowhere is in the eye of the beholder as we're 6 miles from Bennington VT to the north and 6 miles from Williamstown MA to the south. You can't attend Opera or buy a Steinway piano, but you can do meet all and more of your basic needs!LOL

Vermont Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed this property and location for a 3 day trip to Vermont. We were roughly 10 minutes from downtown Bennington, where we enjoyed numerous local restaurants. After a day of exploring and hiking in the area, the hot tub was a perfect way to relax and end our day. Everyone we met was so friendly, and we hope to return to Vermont in the future!

My partner, puppy and I came up for a long weekend whilst attending a podcast festival in North Adams. Sandy, the property manager, was a total gem. We were spoiled with the most beautiful mid-October weather, but the energy/aesthetic of the Garden apartment was the cherry on top of an incredible weekend.

Lovely location. A lovely home, a lovely setting, no real Gem of a place.

We we're close to Bennington and to Williamstown. We loved getting in the hot tub for 15 to 20 minutes each night.

All the comforts of home

We were very comfortable in this cozy apartment with all the comforts of home. It was perfect for our small family of three and wonderful that we could bring our dog too. We skied each day and cooked in every night. Enjoyed the hot tub too! Immaculate with fresh towels and sheets - a great place to stay to enjoy the Berkshires and southern Vermont.

Good place for a weekend getaway

Property was clean and everything was as listed. Good value for the $ compared to other nearby places. We never received the information from the property owner re: code to get in, but when I called, she was very responsive and got the onsite manager there within minutes. Great location for activities in nearby Bennington, VT, as well as Williamstown and N. Adams, Mass.

Great stay for graduation in Williamstown

Large comfortable clean apartment less than 10 minutes to Williamstown. Write up and pics were accurate and friendly owners made us feel right at home. Too bad we did not have more time to chat with Pat and her husband as we were busy with graduation at Williams college to the south.This property is way better than the similarly priced motels nearby .

Disc Golf Weekend with Friends

Came down from Montpelier for a weekend disc golf tournement with friends. It was a great location with privacy. Clean unit with a clean hot tub. Nice grill for grilling. Had all the amenities you would look for at home. Was like home away from home. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Lovely property

We loved staying here! The place was spotless, comfortable and well stocked. There was a small issue with the lockbox when we arrived, but after a quick phone call Sandy arrived and all was well. The location is great - we visited both the Clark and MassMoca while we were there. Of course, it was wonderful to have the hot tub. The pool looked inviting, but the weather was too cold and damp for us to take advantage of it. Would happily stay here again.

What can I say? We are creatives who love the beauty and serenity of this place. We spent our adult lives in Fairfield County CT with a 8-year sabbatical in Vermont, and looked for a location that would not only fulfill our space requirements but meet our emotional needs as well. We share our environment with Molly McDuff a happy. over-enthusiastic hound/herder/wolf mix! We've always loved one-of-a-kind places, and this definitely fits the bill. We no longer live full-time in Vermont but you will occasionally find we welcome you in person.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Well, this is more than a vacation rental; it's an entire lifestyle. Pownal Valley is probably one of the most beautiful in all of Vermont. Rolling limestone mountains might not make for double black diamond ski runs but they do make for fabulous vistas. Our views are without challenge anywhere throughout New England. Our complex is convenient to Route 7 but our guests ALL say the property feels totally private and peaceful.

We moved here full-time in January of 2007. In a portion of our barn complex we operated a commercial photo studio and a craft gallery and later added a homemade ice cream service. Personal events caused us to move back to Connecticut where we can be helpful to our family and pursue some other interests, although we are the fill-in workers in a state that often experiences labor shortages. In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy our beautiful Vermont property.

This is all about peace and relaxation; and not a partying place by any stretch. For our rental guests: Fenced in courtyard for grilling and dining. Fire pit for ghost stories and s'mores. a private hot tub for soaking those aching bones. Full-length lap pool for a leisurely swim or a good workout. AND a large flat, safe yard for kids and dogs to play!

Oh, did I mention there are about a million things to do around here?
