3 Bedroom log-sided cabin with large deck facing Woodford Lake with beautiful lake view. High ceiling Great Room with lots of space, private onsite parking, in quiet lakeside community - complete with 4 kayaks and a canoe. Wood stove and outdoor firepit and gas fireplace unit, lots of cupboard space. Beautiful!

Great cabin getaway

I spent a quiet relaxing weekend with my brother and father at this awesome cabin. Quaint and charming, with plenty of space and amenities, we barely cared that our hiking plans got rained out as we spent the day relaxing in the cabin, playing cards and listening to the rain fall.

Lovely house

The house is spacious and lovely with a terrific deck overlooking the lake, (partial view). There's a great little general store minutes away, and Bennington with shops and restaurants is 15 minutes.I would suggest a few portable fans in the bedrooms for when it gets stuffy.

Nice getaway in Southern VT

Lovely, well equipped cabin with plenty of open space, plenty of room for 6-8 people and a huge deck with pond views..Bob was terrific communicating and was super easy to deal with.

Well appointed, clean cabin, very close to Bennington and other locations

Kitchen is up-to-date with all the amenities. Cabin is clean, with nice furniture and comfy beds. Very quiet neighborhood. Minutes from downtown Bennington. Host was very friendly and accomodating.

Peaceful and Cozy Stay

We had a lovely weekend at this sweet and cozy cabin. We had everything we needed to prepare family meals and every nook and cranny was clean and tidy! The furniture was comfortable. The view of the pond was restful and we enjoyed walking the dogs all around in the crisp, cool air! An easy drive to Bennington to visit my son at college. We look forward to coming back during ski season.

Close to everything!

Great location, lovely clean home. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have a place to put clothing rather than living out of a suitcase for a week. Owner very responsive and left clear instructions for everything.

Idyllic lakeside mountain cabin

This property was wonderful and perfect for our small gathering of mature college girlfriends. It was lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need and more. We were delighted with our surroundings and even considering another visit. The host was excellent, making us feel at home and well-cared for without invading our privacy.

Winter weekend in Vt

Loved our time in Bennington. Cross country skiing area 5 minutes away. The cabin was easy to find and get in. The property owner was great. We didn't have any issues, but he checked in with us to make sure all was good. The place was warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable. The tub with a shower is adorable but a bit tricky if have you any balance issues. The kitchen has all you need to make meals. Lots of stores close by. Would love to come back in the summer.

Lovely June Vacation

Had a lovely stay, very cute and comfortable cabin. Area is super quiet and pretty, but close to Bennington, Wilmington, and lots of activities/restaraunts. The house has two fireplaces, canoe, kayaks, a nice deck and grill, plus lots of board games and reliable internet. Boyfriend and dog also loved it. Host was easy to reach when needed. Highly recommended!

Beautiful mountain retreat

We stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. The cabin is well equipped and clean. The instructions are easy to follow. The kids enjoyed playing in the snow. Our dog had a great time too fetching balls from the lake.

Beautiful Cabin

We loved our stay in this gorgeous cabin. The pictures don’t do it justice. The interior is really pretty. The loft was very roomy, and the kitchen was big enough for us to comfortably cook all our meals. My favorite spot was the deck.

Fall Colors

The cabin was clean, spacious, quaint and comfortable. We liked the privacy and quietness of the neighborhood. Location was great for day trips to other towns. We enjoyed the fall colors driving on Route 9, visiting the state park and Grout Pond. Thought there would be more of a lake view from the cabin but there are other homes blocking the view. Robert was easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your home!

Satisfied

Everything was clean and as described. The house is very well equipped for cooking. The only thing I would bring is a sharp knife. I'm particular in this case and totally understand why an owner would have lots of cheap knives.
