A wonderful home that feels like your own!
All furnishings are clean, well maintained and tidy. Excellent WiFi and cable connection. The kitchen has almost any implements that you would have in your own home. The caretaker, Andrea, delivered the home to us in extremely clean condition. The only problem was the HVAC system. We could not get the Mitsubishi system set up to any degree of satisfaction, despite following the manual.. Given the moderating climate outside, we managed. The back parking area could use some gravel to get rid of the mud, but then this was Vermont in April. We would recommend this home highly to anybody. The owner and the care taker deserve high praises for this home.
Thank you, Bhu, for your most thoughtful and detailed review. We will definitely look into the gravel replacement.
So glad you enjoyed your stay!!
Beautifully updated home in a quaint Vermont town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas escape to Vermont. The home in Bennington was just perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs, made even better by the picturesque snowfall. We were walking distance to town for morning coffee or evening pizza and close enough to several ski resorts, covered bridges and New England historical sites. Though we never met our local hostess in person, she was very welcoming over the phone, available as needed and made sure the home was all set up for our arrival. We would love to go back for a longer stay next time.
Thank you, Trish for the lovely review. We do hope you will comeback for a longer stay. Andria and Royda
Holiday stay in Bennington, Vermont
We had a fantastic week at 121 Grandview. The caretaker met us and toured the house with us, making us feel comfortable and right at home immediately. The house was extremely clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The layout of the bedrooms and the relaxing space was great. Everything we needed to cook meals was available. I would highly recommend this house for your stay in Bennington.
We visited under difficult circumstances coming to town for my mother-in-law's funeral. My husband is originally from the quaint town of Bennington, VT so it was nice to stay in a home-like setting in a very familiar, close to town location. Although it wasn't a vacation for any of us, the home was simply beautiful and well appointed. The modern bathrooms were gorgeous! The home's owner (Royda) and property manager (Malcom) were great to work with (and we had a lot of questions too, thanks again Royda). The Vermont treats were an added bonus! We look forward to staying here again on our next visit!
Girlfriends Weekend Getaway
Every year 6 girlfriends from various locations gather together for a weekend getaway. This year we stayed at this Victorian home in Bennington, VT. What a wonderful place to gather. Malcolm, the house manager, greeted us and showed us around. He was great. The home was perfect.......plenty of room, comfortable setting, all the amenities necessary with a welcome basket of Vermont made products. The house has completely updated bathrooms, comfortable sized bedrooms, plush linens and towels. We loved it. We felt so comfortable as we gathered in the living room for conversation and games. The dining table was perfect for our meals. While we did venture out and see the sights of Bennington, we just loved relaxing in this home. Definitely a place where we would return in the future. Thank you.
We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your thoughtful review. Royda and Malcolm
Very Spacious and Comfortable Home
The house is large and very comfortable. It's close to town and we were able to walk to dinner with a choice of several good restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and equipment so we were able to cook for breakfasts and a couple dinners - good for the pocketbook! The beds were comfy and I love the layout of the bedrooms. We were happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again.
