A lovely quiet property close to the beach and other sights, well furnished kitchen with easy parking, loved that beach chairs were provided, everything for a great visit!!!
Great stay overall. Thank you so much. Please ask someone to look at the heater in the living room. It is extremely noisy due to rattling when it turns on. This can be super disruptive to sleep if you’re a light sleeper like me. Would stay again if the heater gets sorted.
Great place. Well appointed, very comfortable and clean. Like the little.touches of snacks. Close to beach and walking to restaurants. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your cute place.I would stay here again.
We loved this little house! It was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and there were so many little touches that made our stay comfortable that I can't even name them all. Christy was a kind and accommodating host.
We were very comfortable and had everything we needed, even beach chairs and toys! It is close to the beach and wonderful historic places (we loved the lifeboat station museum) and some yummy places to eat.
Access was smooth and easy. Accommodations were clean and pleasant. Nice touch with local rocks and shells as well as personalized recommendations and "things to know." All in all excellent. Would highly recommend.
This house is spotlessly clean and well appointed. The host is a very good communicator and she went out of her way to see to our comfort. We would definitely return to this duplex house in the future.
The host, Christy was so sweet to contact us about an event on the harbor on the day of our arrival. Sadly we missed it, but it was nice to know. Communication was good!Port Orford is tiny. But the duplex location is walkable to beaches and food. Well-stocked kitchen. Fresh coffee grounds very much appreciated and it was good, too! We appreciated the snacks left for us(bananas, bars, and microwave popcorn). Grocery store, Ray's Food Place, is close and had everything we needed to make our own simple meals for dinner and breakfast. Hand-wash dishes only. No dishwasher, which is fine since all the materials needed was set out on the counter. Bedrooms were sparsely decorated, but comfortable and cozy. I liked all the gallery style photos of the Oregon coast scenery throughout the duplex. Bathroom was clean and had nice plush towels. Bathtub drained well. Round glass table in the front room which was perfectly situated in front of two large windows to look out- was great spot for some sunshine and watching neighbors play with their dogs on the grassy area next to the church. Only advice might be to consider having another folding chair somewhere for someone to sit at the table. There are two chairs there, but we needed just one more for our daughter to sit. Walked to Port Orford Harbor where boats are lifted in and out of the water. Nice beach next to it. Walked to Battle Rock Beach. Beautiful! Gave Crazy's Norwegian a try, for fish and chips. Popular spot.
Very nice place conveniently located in Port Orford a few blocks off highway 101. Enjoyed the local sites and the beaches. The host was very accommodating.
