Welcome to The Sommet in Jackson, NH – a mountain getaway lodge with a guest cottage. Picturesque views, local restaurants, and endless recreation await you at this 3-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental! Located within minutes of Mt Washington, and the multiple ski areas. Mountain biking and hiking locations within minutes’ drive. Saco River provides outdoor recreation like canoeing, kayaking, tubing and rafting. Swimming, fishing could make this a perfect summer getaway.
The space
MAIN HOME
features an open concept living / dining / kitchen area with wood floors radiant heat , wood burning fireplace, oversized windows for an incredible view of Mt Washington and the entire Presidential Range. Step outside on wrap around deck to enjoy the incredible view and breathe in the fresh air.
Main level consists also of full bathroom with a laundry. Upper level consists of Master bedroom with a whirlpool tub for perfect relaxation mode, guest bedroom with one full bed and bunk beds. 2nd full bathroom is located on the upper level.

which features living/ dining/ full kitchen/ full bathroom and a bedroom on main level and another room on the upper level

Parking is available on the property.
Other things to note
Winter parking restrictions: limit 3-4 cars in driveway (pitched driveway). AWD vehicles are highly recommended for driveway and roadways. Additional parking for 2 vehicles available on the right side of street, next to driveway entry.

Absolutely lovely home. Immaculate, modern and well appointed. We really enjoyed our time. The only drawback was that we couldn't stay longer! Also, in comparison to most vrbo rentals, the checkout instructions were very simple. Awesome property with amazing views

Our family stayed for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Jackson. Our group ages were from 10 to 89 years old, plus two small dogs. The location was wonderful, with beautiful views and a peaceful, private setting. It was conveniently located to the grocery store and local places to eat. The property was clean and accomodated extended family nicely in the guest cottage with its own, kitchen, bath and laundry. There was an upstairs in the cottage with no bed but had plenty of room for a large blow up mattress and it had a ceiling fan and A/C. The kitchen in the main house was stocked with the basics and we were able to prepare several meals during our stay (I brought a sheet pan since a prior guest noted there was none). Each room had its own A/C which was convenient. The beds were comfortable enough, not the most luxurious, but did not take away from our experience. A few highlights during our stay were the Glen Ellis Falls, Thompson Falls, Crystal Cascade Falls and the many stops along the Kancamangus. We loved the Jackson Falls that is only a five minute drive from the property. My great neices, ages 10 and 11 loved it there! If you're looking for a clean, quiet and scenic place to enjoy the Jackson and North Conway area, this is a great choice.

We enjoyed our stay at Wildflower Lane! It worked well for our three-family group. A dirt road leads to a steep paved driveway, where the secluded property comes into view among the trees beside an open field. The setting feels quiet, private, and immersed in the woods, and we especially enjoyed the deck and fire pit.The immaculate main house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lovely kitchen, and open dining and living areas with vaulted ceilings and gorgeous White Mountain views. The charming guest house, connected by the deck, includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living area, and loft. Both spaces were spotless and well arranged, and the two children in our group had plenty of room to run around.A couple of things to share:The property is built on the side of a hill and guests with limited mobility should note the many steps inside and outside, uneven paths without handrails, and a somewhat unsteady main-deck railing.We reported an AC issue in the main house that was repaired after our stay. Upstairs reached 78 degrees with little airflow during the hot August weekend. Regardless of the weather, fresh-air ventilation is limited because many windows do not open and the others lack screens.Overall, we truly appreciated our stay and the peaceful setting. Thank you!

Mountain retreat

Beyond beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. Panoramic mountain views directly aimed at Mt. Washington. The house was clean and comfortable. So thankful to have picked this home for our stay in Jackson.

Beautiful home with spectacular views

We had a wonderful time at the home and would definitely come back. The views from the porch and even from inside the house are breathtaking. It’s in a great location being roughly halfway between North Conway and Mount Washington. I highly recommend.

Week stay

We loved it. The kitchen was well put together to keep.it clean fast with kids...kitchen table was beautifully made for nice meals with the sunsets. It was great. Bring a baby gate if you have young kids is my only advice for the stairs and railings outside are spaced apart where little kids can fit through. Definitely no complaints. Location is perfect & house is memorable.

Unique house, fantastic location

This is a unique property that sits on a fantastic location with ample privacy which is nice. I rented this house just for the view. You can see Mt. Washington from the deck and the surrounding area. The house has plenty of room and some of the amenities have been updated. This is not a cookie cutter type home and has a lot of character, but also may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Would highly recommend for families looking to get away in the mountains but be close to the creature comforts of Jackson/North Conway as well as Story Land.

scenic and comfortable property, minor drawbacks

This was a really nice location and comfortable house for our family (2 year old, infant, + dog) to visit the White Mountains. The views of the Presidential Range off the porch are amazing, especially the sunsets. There were a few minor drawbacks. The kitchenware is really bad (no large frying pan, and not a single baking sheet or baking pan), and there's no exhaust for the range/stove so you can risk smoking up the house if you're not careful. Also there were a couple careless oversights (dryer was unplugged and inaccessible the way it's stacked up in a corner, there was no propane tank for the gas grill) that made our last night more stressful than it should have been. Overall a really nice place but I expected a little better given the price.

Magnificent View

Your home has Magnificent Mountain Views, there were a few things that need improvement. The Mattress in the Guest House needs to be upgraded. Our family had a very uncomfortable sleep. The chairs in the living room were broken so you could not place them facing the fireplace. The Loveseat had a hole/rip in the back pillow, and I chewed up dog bone was found in the side crease. The couch had a piece of wood sticking out the back. The Keurig had mold and we cleaned it. It was a nice gesture to offer a water and a bottle of wine, but we did not find the bottle of wine. These were little touches that I believe well be helpful to your future guests. We had a lovely weekend.
