Ocean View Studio Apartment! Perfect for Agate Hunting! Dog Friendly!

You will feel the calm wash over you the moment you arrive at the Surf Perch studio designed with organic materials and a minimalist, soothing palette. This wonderful upstairs standalone unit, with no tenant below, features weathered woods, soft whites and eco-friendly bamboo wood floors. Surf Perch is located just south of Yachats and situated among the trees with views of Stonefield Beach and access to Mill Creek.

Listen to the babbling of nearby Ten Mile Creek or the ocean waves which will lull you to sleep in the luxurious king bed. Relax on the sofa and enjoy the soothing and sophisticated decor. The open floor plan invites you to enjoy conversation and cooking together where you can whip up a favorite meal or gather take out at one of the coasts' fantastic restaurants.

Across the two-lane highway is an excellent beach access to Stonefield Beach which is coveted by the locals for agates, jasper and petrified wood. The Surf Perch is conveniently located between Florence and Yachats and is an easy launching point to Heceta Head Lighthouse, Sea Lion Caves, and hiking in old growth forests! The Surf Perch is the perfect place to stay to explore all the beautiful aspects of the central Oregon coast.

The Surf Perch sleeps 2 but if you're a larger group you can add the adjacent Stonefield Beach House which sleeps another 8 guests and is a chic cousin to the Surf Perch. Both homes are private but part of the same property.
​​​​​​​*Surf Perch has a free EV Charging station so that you can charge at your destination- not on the highway - making this destination a home away from home for you and your EV.

Sleeps up to 2 - Studio with 1 King; 1 bath.
Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (Strictly enforced)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 1-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guest: One time $35+tax fee. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Everything was in good condition, clean, serviceable. Had everything we needed for cooking meals and even had a thermos to borrow for some tea on a coast walk. Very quiet, comfortable - even with the adjacent house occupied as a VRBO it felt very private. Quick and easy beach access and nice to see the surf breaking from the apartment. We loved it and had such a nice Christmas there!

Great Coast getaway

From the time we walked in we felt welcomed! The studio was well furnished and we had all we needed. Very comfy bed! Love that it was just a short walk to the beach. Our dog loved running on the beach and then return for a nap. Thanks for having your place pet friendly.

5 day respite

Perfectly timed visit to escape the Portland heat. Having the beach directly across the highway was great for dog runs. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. Recommend to others.

Great property

I loved everything about the space and it was perfect for a weekend getaway with easy beach access. I had some trouble with Sweet Homes and the check in process though. The property manager was responsive even late at night and it all ended up okay.

Beautiful space with extraordinary views

My daughter and I stayed for five nights. We had a wonderful experience. Everything was easy, The space is charming and clean. Felt like home away from home immediately. Easy check in process. So close to the beach. Pretty ocean views. Privacy. Was the perfect central Oregon Coast lodging. Would recommend to friends and family and would stay again.

Stunning

Stonefield, across the highway, was perfect for agate hunting and sunset. We look forward to a trip with the kids, this location is perfect and close enough to yachts but not bombarded with traffic. We had the pleasure of meeting Zak, what a great guy! Not in the listing is info about the great backyard area with a nicely shaded patio for BBQs

Best place in the area!

This place was amazing! The view of the waves was beautiful. We were familiar with the area before booking. It was great to just walk across the road to go beachcomber and not worry about our windows being broken out in the parking lot. Stonfield is an excellent beach for agate hunting, fishing and great sunsets. The house was just great. Plenty of room and everything we needed to cook. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great location but a few upgrades would go a long way!

Great location across the 101 from the beach. The shower curtain needs to be longer so the bathroom doesn’t flood every time there’s a shower. Also the Wi-Fi does not work so you will be in a black out zone with no service.

Great space for a getaway

This space was super great and well represented. It was a little dirty upon arrival I’m afraid. There were dust bunnies, fake eyelashes and cobwebs. All the dishes had to be washed before using as well. Just very, very dusty. Once we did some cleaning tho we settled right in and had a wonderful time. I’d totally use this place again. Just recommend they use a different cleaning service:)

Service tainted otherwise excellent spot

The aesthetic of this studio is superb! And, except for a wobbly handrail, it was in excellent shape. Being across the highway from the beach was a little drawback, but, once across, beach access was great. No outside seating, probably because of highway noise. Only problem is that we woke up to no water from any faucet. No phone service, so we couldn't call or text property managers until we got to served area. The email we received back was a carefully worded acknowledgement but really a brushoff. Perhaps they were afraid we would make some kind of demand, but we didn't...
