Quiet paradise with heated pool at great waterfront location in South Cape Coral

Beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom home with an electrically heated private pool. Great location on a gulf sailboat access waterfront lot in a quiet cul-de-sac. Private, well padded, boat slip included (perfect for boats up to 23´x 8,5´)
Fully equipped kitchen with lots of appliances (dishwasher, nespresso machine, blender, grill thermometer...) and very well stocked with dishes, like whiskey tumblers and espresso cups. Outside it offers an expansive dock area for sunsets and fishing as well as a screened patio with gas grill and a big electrically heated private pool. Parking is available in the garage and on the driveway to the house.
A great place to spend a relaxed vacation. Enjoy the sunset on the dock with a drink, have fun in the pool or have a steak on the barbecue grill. All in a very secluded backyard located in a quiet and excellent neighborhood .
Split floor plan with lots of privacy if needed in the house, three comfortable bedrooms and three renovated bathrooms.
Also highspeed WIFI, 3 TV´s, washer, dryer, fishing and beach equipment is available.

This is a very clean and well appointed property. It’s at least as nice as the photos. The host’s were amazing, even sending me their favorite fishing spots. Everything we needed was there. We stayed 18 nights, and it seemed like only a week. We are boaters, and really appreciated that it was a short 10 minute cruise to the river. I will definitely try to get this place locked down again!

Lovely home - wish we could come back!

We stayed through the winter and truly enjoyed it. The house is very well cared for and scrupulously clean. The floors and other surfaces were easy to keep up throughout our stay. Our family visited and they had a great time, especially in the pool and lanai.

Beautiful Home with a nice dock!

The home was very clean and beautifully appointed for a relaxing stay. Beds were very comfortable, all three bathrooms were excellently remodeled! I would only recommend window coverings in the main areas of the home as the neighbors from across the canal are within view. We would stay here again!

Excellent Break

The property was as advertised in the listing. A house near Rotary Park is excellent to see everything that Cape Coral, Sanibel and FT Meyers has to offer. The house was super clean and well taken care for. The dock was a great amenity as I rented a 23 ft center console for the week. The location to river was superb and only a short ride out of the canal. Convenient to shopping and restaurants as well. Relaxing. Could not ask for a better month.

Nice place

Love this house! The layout is great and it was very clean. Kitchen is well-stocked. Bed are VERY comfy! Pool area is nice. It would have been better if the pool heater had been turned on prior to our arrival. After contacting the host, I was able to turn it on. But since the weather was a little cooler than normal, it took a few days to warm up and be “swimmable.” Overall, a great vacation house.

One month in paradise

We loved our stay at Mermaid's purse March/April 2024. The property was easy to find and access via the lockbox and we had no problems during our stay. The whole property was immaculately clean and very well stocked especially the kitchen. The leather sofa and the master bed were very comfortable. We used the spacious garage to keep our hire car cool and having a remote garage control was great for quick entry. The pool was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The weather was very hot so the pool was well used by us to cool off and we appreciated the sunbed mattresses and great supply of pool towels The canal view was very relaxing and we were extremely lucky to see a dolphin chasing fish in the canal just off our dock on 2 occasions. We enjoyed the peaceful quiet neighbourhood whilst having easy access to all the facilities in Cape Coral and Fort Myers. We would recommend Mermaids purse for rental.

Relaxing stay at Mermaids Purse

We have stayed in several vacation houses over the years & this one was by far the cleanest. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Check in was as easy as can be & we never needed to contact them for any issues. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Vacation

We stayed for a week and loved it! The room set up was perfect. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and spent hours every afternoon swimming. Everything worked for our stay. Plenty of towels and beach items (umbrella and chairs) Great location in between some of our favorite beaches - Sanibel Island, Stump Pass Beach State Park and Lovers Key State Park. Owners were easy to contact for questions and responded quickly.

We are a German couple, and we bought the house in 2014. We just love to spend time there, whenever we can. We are also constantly investing in the property to have a great place for ourselves as well as for our guests. Fishing is our main pass time in Cape Coral and the house is ideally located to get out on the water.

Location, location, location. Quiet, but still close to everything you need. Southern exposure, heated pool, water access. Florida as it should be.

What makes this property unique

Only one corner with the boat and you are in open water all the way to the gulf. Very quiet location, perfect to relax and unwind.
