Perfect place to escape and rewind ! Mountain View’s and hot tub stargazing The decor is so beautiful and comfortable Relaxing and peaceful ! Can’t wait to plan my next visit !!

Quaint cabin under the stars

Cabin was very nice, super clean, and the hot tub was the best feature. We wanted a relaxing getaway and this did not disappoint. Evenings in the hot tub under the stars was our favorite part. Offers close proximity to Winchester and Front Royal. Would definitely come again. Natasha was a great communicator and a great host.

Exactly what we were looking for

Beautiful and cozy getaway with star gazing from the hot tub. Driving distance was perfect for what we were looking for. Nicely furnished. Natasha is an attentive and thoughtful host. We couldn't have asked for anything more! :)

Cabin Getaway

My husband and our friends had an amazing stay at this cute little cabin. The house was clean and fairly spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the kitchen, and we even cooked dinner together during one night of our stay. The house was a 10-15 min drive from all of the hiking trails, restaurants, and wineries we visited. The hot tub was super fun, but was a bit small for four average-to-small sized people. Overall, we would definitely stay here again next time we visit Shenandoah!

Our stay was unfortunately untenable due to undisclosed safety and security issues that made the property unsuitable for occupancy.Upon arrival, we discovered a significant lower level of the home that was not mentioned in the listing description or any prior communication. More concerning, the host instructed us—only 14 hours before check-in—not to lock the front door. These omissions created an immediate and unacceptable security risk, as they fell far short of the reasonable expectation of a safe and secure vacation rental.To prioritize our family's safety, we felt compelled to depart shortly after arrival, despite a drive of over two hours to reach the property. The experience was severely undermined by these undisclosed conditions.Communication from the host was also inadequate. Despite repeated attempts by VRBO support to contact the host over several weeks (including multiple weekly phone calls and emails), no substantive response was received for an extended period. The host later cited being out of the country, but this did not excuse the lack of timely availability or resolution for such critical safety-related concerns, especially given platform standards for host responsiveness.Fortunately, supporting evidence—including photos and video (with audio) documenting activity in the undisclosed lower level—was sufficient for VRBO to issue a full refund. To my knowledge, the host has still not responded to VRBO's outreach. RUN FROM THIS LISTING

Dear Guests, I have been a host for several years and I cannot explain this guest’s allegations. This is a complete fabrication motivated by what I can only imagine was an attempt not to stay and recover a full refund. I did share that I was travelling and I believe they used this as an opportunity to create a false story, anticipating I would respond a few hours later. VRBO weren’t able to reach me because I was travelling, but the very next day I rang them back and they refunded my for the stay as these guests did not provide any proof whatsoever for their very strange allegations. The app automatically issued a refund because I had not responded promptly but they quickly reversed that. Needless to say, there is a reason I have excellent reviews. My service is centered on the satisfaction of my guests, that’s why I’m in the hospitality business. It was a shame indeed to come across individuals who will do anything to ruin a business for the sole reason for retaining a refund. I welcome you all to experience our private, serene and cozy accommodations. I just ask that respect for our home and us as humans is a priority, as I always treat my guests with utmost care and dignity as well. Thank you, Natasha

Great place to unwind

Natasha was a phenomenal host. The cabin was very cozy and felt homey. I decided Toto select this property because it checked all the boxes I was looking for to propose to my gf. The sunset was perfect, the atmosphere was amazing and I was tuned in by all the extra provided services. She said YES!!! Natasha went above and beyond to accommodate us and she deserves a 5-star rating. Additionally, the Shenandoah Park overlooks were an awesome sight. Free for all you military vets, get your cards at the front gate. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway

Weekend getaway

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend at the cabin. We found it clean, comfortable and well equipped. We brought food and didn't feel the need to drive anywhere. We popped a bottle of wine and grilled steaks on the charcoal grill. Caution it is a very small grill. The road to the house and driveway were a bit daunting and I was grateful we arrived during daylight. Quite steep. I'd be cautious arriving or leaving in the dark. We explored the mountain and got some exercise by walking up to the top of the road and then down to the pond/dam. Almost 5 miles combined and over 85 'flights' climbed. It was wonderful to relax in the hottub after that walk! The WIFI in the cabin was fast and allowed us both to do a bit of work and hubs to complete an assignment for his masters program. The master bedroom was comfortable and we enjoyed opening the windows at night for the crisp mountain air. Natasha/host was fantastic. She communicated very well prior to our arrival and was quick to respond during our stay with answers to questions. Would definitely return for another restful weekend.

Weekend getaway

This was a great stay for my girlfriend for her birthday. The place is cute and we enjoyed ourselves. The best part of the stay was far and wide the host. Very communicative and willing to go above and beyond. However, there were a couple of downsides we encountered. In my opinion, the romance package was over priced for its value. The listing shows a price at the time that was inaccurate. Something the host doesn't necesarily control as she uses a decorator. Of course we worked out a deal but overall once we arrived, I didn't find what we received matched the exorbitant price they charge. In the bedroom the heart lights hanging in the window weren't on either. Also, the time of year we went and time we arrived, it was dark and foggy which made arrival pretty difficult and scary, as the driveway is hard to find due to its grade. I suggested lighting to be placed and markers for the driveway entrance to the host.That all being said, the view was great, the hot tub was wonderful, the place is really cute and we had a good time getting away. It's quite the drive into Front Royal, so make sure you have what you need ahead of time. I also can't stress enough, what made this stay so wonderful was Natasha.

Hi Danny, Thanks so much for the thoughtful review. Unfortunately as you know, I was not in the country at the time and I couldn’t drive by to make sure everything was perfect as I always do. All of my guests have enjoyed the romantic decor package, that’s partially the reason for my all 5-star reviews until now. I did offer you a partial refund for the unsatisfactory decor - which you declined. And you stayed an extra day, for which I didn’t charge. It actually turned out that my decorator sent an apprentice as she herself was away, which I didn’t know about until I investigated. That will not happen again. It does happen that sometimes things are not perfect because we are human after all, but we do our best to rectify issues and ensure they are not a problem for future guests. It’s much appreciated when guests also hold space to empathize with us as hosts when it’s clear we’re doing all we can to resolve any issues. I believe I listened carefully to all of your concerns, and did what I could do in my power at the time to make things right. If there was more I could have done, please do let me know and I will be happy to consider. All the best, Natasha

Okay, so I gotta tell you about this AWESOME Cabin near Front Royal. It's like the ultimate mountain vibe, and I'm giving it a solid 5 stars. First off, when you roll up, you're feeling the chill mountain vibes right away. It's that perfect mix of being away from the city craziness but still close enough to Front Royal if you need some action. There are some good restaurants in town and lots of other small towns with in an hours drive. The vineyard scene in the area is on point! The cabin's got two bedrooms and two bathrooms—ideal for a low-key getaway with your partner or a small crew. Inside, it's legit cozy. The kitchen is surprisingly big, but let's talk about the real MVP—the hot tub. It's on this deck with killer mountain views. Day or night, it's the spot to be. Stargazing from the tub? Yeah, that was a vibe. And get this—the Shenandoah River is like a 10-minute drive. We checked out wineries. Skyline Drive and Skyline Caverns are just a short drive away too. Now, if you're feeling a bit extra romantic, they've got this sweet deal for $300 extra. Rose petals, candles, chocolates, and a bottle of bubbly—perfect for some lovey-dovey time star gazing in the hot tub. We did this and it was a cute little extra thing to surprise my partner with. Big shoutout to Faith, the property manager, for keeping everything smooth. Oh, and props to the hosts for hosting medical first responders separately. That's some real goodness. Cleanline

Mountain Getaway

The cabin was beautiful and located in a great spot, beautiful views and easy to get around to some great wineries. Sitting in the hot tub watching the stars at night was worth the stay alone.

Book this place!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Natasha truly made the getaway perfect with the set up for our engagement. The house was clean, decorated perfectly, her communication was great and she truly went the extra mile with everything there. Her guest book gave some great ideas for people to check out. We did our own exploring of the city of course but finishing the nights off in the hot tub under the stars was perfect out there. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay or host. Highly recommend booking this place!

Great place to relax and get away. Nice and quiet. Love the decor of the cabin. Not to far from town and entertainment. Would recommend to others and plan on seeing the cabin in the summer months.

Much needed getaway

We stayed here to getaway from things for a little but and it could not have been more perfect of a time. We used the hot tub and watched the stars at night with some champagne which was so beautiful! We ended up not wanting to leave! The place is stocked with the Utensils and things that you would need. The owners were traveling during our stay but they were still so receptive to our questions! We definitely want to stay here again, thank you so much Natasha!!

Cute modern cabin

Cabin stay for New Year’s Eve was absolutely magical! We were able to see the fireworks from the hot tub that night and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We loved waking up to either a beautiful sunrise or a misty foggy morning which made the cabin really feel like we were in the clouds! We would love to come back and enjoy it all over again! Natasha is awesome and really helpful and responded very quickly whenever we had questions. Overall, an amazing place!

I'm a human rights advocate (women, child and elderly persons focused), and my husband is a social worker who works with persons suffering from mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities. We both love people, nature and are always seeking tranquil settings.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We visited the Shenandoah area for the first time in 2020 and instantly fell in love with the beautiful green and colourful landscape, rivers and wildlife. We were fortunate to have the option of working remotely and jumped at the chance to live the dream in these heavenly mountains where the air is pure and the stars shine brighter than imaginable.

We were lucky to find the perfect cabin nestled at the top of a mountain, overlooking the city line and the majestic national parks. The views from the balcony are breathtaking - there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in the hot tub with a cool glass of white wine watching the illuminating stars up above and city lights down below. When we're done admiring and want to experience the nature, the Lake of the Clouds and Spring Lakes are only a short walk away from the cabin. The river a short 10min drive and horseback riding even closer. The scenic Skyline Drive and famous Skyline caverns are similarly a quick drive. The hiking trails are in abundance. There is something to do for everyone!

Our family and friends - couples, families with children, have taken advantage of every activity this stunning area provides. The Dinosaur Land is a treat for the children, as are the fairs in the town, the caverns, children's museums, animal parks to name a few. My niece and nephews never once turned on the television for an entire weekend! For adults - vineyards, a romantic drive on the Skyline Drive, river activities, hiking the Sky Meadow and Shenandoah National Parks, intimate dining in charming restaurants in the town and so much more!

As the world opens back up, we find ourselves having to move back to the city. It is our desire to share this gem we've called home for the past year with others seeking the ultimate tranquil experience in the Shenandoah mountains.

This cabin is very unique with a traditional cabin exterior and charming modern interior. It truly is peaceful, with only the sounds of birds chirping, leaves lightly fluttering and the gentle footsteps of deer. The cabin is located in the most convenient spot, in nature and far from all city noise but not more than a 20min drive to town. During the summer sedans drive easily, during the winter months, however (Dec-Feb) an AWD/4WD is advisable.
