Welcome to Foxwood Cabin, a serene retreat designed for relaxation, connection, and adventure. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a family getaway, or a work-from-nature retreat, this cozy yet spacious cabin has everything you need.

The open-concept living room and kitchen provide plenty of space to gather, cook, and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep effortless, featuring an electric range, stand mixer, blender, waffle maker, Keurig, drip coffee maker, and more.

Relax in the spacious living room, complete with a 65” TV and premium sound system, perfect for movie nights or cozy evenings by the fire. The primary suite offers a king bed, while the second bedroom features two twin beds and a dedicated workspace for remote work.

Step outside to enjoy the large front deck, where a grill and bar-style seating make it easy to take in sunset views. In the evenings, gather around the outdoor fireplace with ample seating, perfect for both cool and warm nights.

Our cabin is located in the Shenandoah Farms community in Front Royal, VA - the vibrant and active community is composed of full time residences, second homes, and vacation rentals.

A vehicle is required for getting around the neighborhood and surrounding area attractions, restaurants, and other designations. Please note that while the property can be accessed via entirely paved roads, 4WD or AWD may be recommended or required during wintery weather.

PETS
We love hosting your furry companions and welcome up to two dogs. Please include them in your reservation and a pet fee will automatically be included in your reservation total. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional fees to compensate for potential extra wear and tear at the property and additional cleaning regimens that we undertake. Note that emotional support animals (ESAs) are designated as pets and subject to these fees and other pet policies. Service animals are always welcome, but please let us know about them in advance so we can let our cleaning team know.

FAMILY FRIENDLY AMENITIES
We offer a pack n` play crib, full-sized freestanding highchair, and children`s dishes for families traveling with young ones.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
The property can be accessed via entirely paved roads; however the driveway has a decent incline and is gravel. Most of the year, 2WD vehicles can access the property without issue. However, during snow or icy conditions, 4WD or AWD may be recommended or required. We will notify you in advance if winter or severe weather is expected, offering guidance on safe access. Full refunds are typically only provided if the property is inaccessible for more than 24 hours by 4WD or AWD vehicles.

GUEST SAFETY & WELLNESS
Your safety and well-being are our top priority. All bedding, including sheets, quilts, and blankets, is washed between reservations. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed in all bedrooms, and fire extinguishers are available throughout the property.

The area is surrounded by wildlife - you will regularly see deer and may even sneak a peak at a black bear hanging out on the mountain. While the house rarely houses critters of its own, the occasional bug or tiny creature may make a visit! Just let us know if anything is out of the ordinary.

UPDATES & EXTERIOR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE We occasionally make updates to the property in an effort to add new amenities and ensure that we always offer safe and comfortable accommodations. As a result, furniture may occasionally differ from what is featured. During your stay, our landscaping and/or hot tub care team may service the property - we usually give you advance notice and these teams do not need to access the inside of the property (with the exception of the garage to access a mower or supplies).
Noise & Music — County and community regulations prohibit outdoor music after 9 PM, regardless of volume. Please be respectful of neighbors at all times and keep outdoor noise and activity to a reasonable level.

Extra Guests — Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless approved in advance. Unauthorized visitors or events are not allowed.

Smoking — Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Evidence of smoking (including odor) will result in a $500 cleaning fee.

Fires & Prohibited Activities — Wood-burning fires are not permitted indoors. Please use the designated fireplace for outdoor fires. Fireworks, ATVs, firearms, and hunting are not allowed on the property.

Smart Home Technology — The cabin is equipped with WiFi, Ring exterior security cameras, and a Minut noise monitor for comfort and security. These devices do not record audio and may not be unplugged, covered, or tampered with. Interference with safety devices may result in cancellation of your stay.

Parking & Vehicles — Parking is limited to the designated driveway only. Please do not park on grass or block the road. Trailers or oversized vehicles require prior approval.

The house was perfect! It was clean, updated, and was in a great location near multiple wineries and hiking spots. The bed was comfortable, we liked the layout, and enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely book this place again. The communication was great as well.

Cozy and Relaxing

Our stay was positively excellent. The property was extremely well-kept and clean. The king bed was so comfortable, and the master bedroom was magical. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, and the views were stunning. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day living.

Our visit to Front RoyaI was wonderful and immensely relaxing. The location was great, with a 15 - to 20-minute drive for most things. The views from the balcony were incredible all day, but especially at sunset and night. Our favorite was being able to see and here nature from the screened in porch. The house was incredibly clean, and decor was very relaxing. We really appreciated the recommendations lists of which The Apple House and Jim's Country Store and Deli were our go tos for our short visit. We are looking forward to making a longer return visit to this house again next summer if not sooner.
