Earth and Sky Retreat and Tamarron Resort (Lodge #512) is our studio condo with mini kitchen and one full bath, conveniently located near the resort amenities including golf course, heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. The kitchenette is very functional with mini fridge, 2 stovetop burners, microwave, toaster oven, crock pot and coffee maker. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

This mountain condo is located in the lodge close to the new indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. Easily accommodates 6 guests. Flat screen TV / DVD player. Bathroom is equipped with a tub/shower combo. Enjoy Tamarron's beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and wildlife but still close enough to the town of Durango.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Beautiful location. Great ammenities--pool and gym are amazing. The room itself is very dated. The dining table and chairs have to be pushed against wall to access soft sleeper so you don't have a dining/table area if the bed is out. Many outlets didn't work so we had to sacrifice lights and lamps to charge devices. Great access to Purgatory and horseback riding.

It is very nice. Beds were comfortable. The pull out sofa could use some attention. The photos made it look larger. Since there were 5 of us we needed the pull out. With it open there was very little room to move around in that area. I would not recommend the property for more tha n 4 people.

I suggest thoroughly cleaning or replacing the carpet. The amenities such as the pools were a nice feature. The staff were always helpful and friendly. My daughter and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here.

just an okay place . Location is good

location good. View good. Kitchenette and furnishing looks old. The bed was fresh but sheet could use a good wash . I was itchy afterwards . Found a bug in the sheets as well. The carpet b/w the room and the kitchen was peeling off and the nails were poking out .It stuck my toe and thats when I realized. Its rusted as well. If you are looking for a qick stay and with not much of expectations and only the location matters then this could be ideal

Great views and clean room!!

We stayed in July 2022 in unit 512. Easy check-in process and all info was provided via email and an app prior to arriving. The property was located on the golf course which had amazing views of the 18th hole from our room. The property was very well maintained. The studio room was a little outdated but accommodated 4 of us comfortably, with 2 queen beds and pull out couch. It had vaulted ceiling so made the room feel bigger. Room was very clean and had coffee pot and some kitchen items. This room had a small cooktop but we didn't use and a small refrigerator as well. Gym had all you need for a good workout and locker rooms had steam room and sauna. My husband and son were able to play a round of golf- only downside was that the Junior rate is only good for 15 and under so my 17 year old had to pay the full rate but they enjoyed the round. Only a few cons- Internet was spotty and didn't get great phone reception. We wish they had more food options on site. The Basecamp market and restaurant is only open Thurs-Sun but was closed on Thurs and Friday when we were there. The Mineshaft restaurant was nice but definitely recommend reservations. This place was about 15 min from downtown and there were tons of great restaurant options there.
