Loved the apartment, great location right downtown. Easy to access and communicate with. The apartment caned stocked with everything we needed for the week to order in as well as cook. Great stay.

An Excellent Home Away From Home

I had a lovely time staying in this beautiful large studio apartment. It was fully equipped and clean. It has a patio where I would look out into wonderful Walnut Creek. It’s in the city and I felt safe. The building is well maintained and secured. It’s always a pleasure to communicate with Alphe and Brad about my visit. I am looking forward to do more short term rentals from them again.

Upon check-in I arrived 3 hours after the official check-in time to find someone's belongings piled up in the hallway upon entering the unit there were additional items left behind. When I contacted the VRBO owner they said that someone was staying in the unit before my arrival and was supposed to move to another unit. The sheets did not smell clean so I washed them. The unit was missing things mentioned in the listing and the furniture, bed, pillows, sheets, etc was low quality and very uncomfortable. For paying a premium price for a 10 star highly reviewed apartment, I was extremely disappointed and felt misled.

Two smoke detectors started chirping at 2:30am. We tried to get them (one was hardwired) to stop. They said take out the battery and then no further instruction/no additional response until 5:30am. Meanwhile we were concerned about carbon dioxide and had to deal with horrible noise and went to sleep in the lobby. Property management said maintenance would come at 8am. No show until 9am. The kicker - maintenance person lives right next store to our unit. We shared a wall!!!!!! I bugged them for a week for a refund. I got a 100 credit for a future stay. Horrible experience. They could have refunded that first night but chose not. This a property management company does not care about your stay. If you need help outside of 9-5, you won’t get it.
