This two-bedroom ski-in/ski-out condo is located in the highly sought-after Winterplace development at Okemo Mountain Resort. Perched on the second floor right by the Lift Line ski trail, it offers a prime spot to catch all the action. Non-skiers can relax in the warmth of the condo and watch the lift operate just steps away from the building.

After a day on the slopes, this cozy retreat is the perfect place to unwind. Gather in the living area by the wood-burning fireplace to watch a movie or share stories from the day. The well-appointed kitchen is ready for your culinary creations, with the dining room providing a welcoming space to enjoy meals together.

Winterplace offers seasonal community amenities that cater to both relaxation and adventure, including an indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, and tennis and basketball courts. Two chair lifts from the base lodge area conveniently let out near Winterplace, and the trail back down to the base lodge is beginner-friendly, making this a fantastic location for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels.

This is our second time renting this unit, again the condo and location is 5 stars. The kitchen and the rest of the unit have everything we needed for our stay. We found the unit to be very clean, everything was excellent.

Wonderful Experience

This property is situated wonderfully at the top of A/B Quad making for a perfect ski in/out experience. The unit is comfortable for our family of 4 with everything necessary for our stay. Plenty of room to store all of our gear in the ski locker (located just outside the unit) and the mudroom as ample storage for all the coats, etc.

Wonderful location

This was a great place for a weekend getaway! It was easy to find, easy to get inside, and the place was absolutely lovely! I felt right at home staying here. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans (though buy your own spices if you want to do anything beyond simple cooking) and a nice stove, oven, and dishwasher. There were plenty of towels and blankets, a nice TV, and many places to relax around the space. And the windows look out over the slopes and let in a lot of natural light. I wasn't here for skiing and loved it. If I had gone skiing, I couldn't get any closer. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Location!

The unit is very comfortable and comes with everything as advertised and more! Everything you need is there from dishes, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, refrigerator, DVDs, local channels, comfy beds with extra pillows, linens (even towels for the pool/hot tubs), washer/dryer and more! You see the lifts from the bedroom, living room and balcony- it is the closest you can get to the lifts out of all units at Winterplace and the night view of the stars and mountains are incredible! We will absolutely be looking for when this unit is available again!

Ski in and out location, comfortable, and clean, plenty of kitchen tools/pots/pans etc for cooking in. The master bath has been renovated since the photos online were taken which was a nice . Another reviewer mentioned the loudness of the furnace, but I have found this to be common for all the other winter place condos that we have stayed in. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub after skiing.

This condo was well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and more and the furnishings were very comfortable. The location is unbeatable, just a few steps to the top of the A/B lifts or ski a short distance to Sunburst. This was the second time we stayed at this condo and we highly recommend it.

This is the Place!

My daughter and I came up for a few days of skiing and were very happy with this unit. I stayed in town on my last trip to Okemo and decided to give ski in/out a try this time. Am I glad I did, it is the way to go! You enter the unit through a good sized mudroom, which had more than enough room for ski gear. (There is a conveniently located ski locker just outside the unit) The LR windows look right out onto the AB quads, which are literally steps away from the unit's front door. Great people watching when you're done skiing. The unit itself was very clean, cozy and well appointed. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. and the furniture and beds were quite comfortable. We had plenty of room to spread out. We liked the place so much we already booked it for next season. About the only thing we thought could use an upgrade was the bath towels. They weren't great quality and definitely not in keeping with the rest of this place. Obviously not a deal breaker but it would be nice.

Location but not Connection

This apartment is in a great location, right at a chair lift. So location is 5-star. However, as I had to work a bit, it was incredibly frustrating that the wifi was not sufficient to support video conferencing. Resetting the router did not work. The Vacasa rep told me this was a matter handled by the owner, not them, but no contact information provided. And while the router was capable of supporting 5GHz connection, there was not access to this better WiFi support. Frustrating and on average, drops the rating from 5 stars.

Excellent location, nice property

Me and my two sons (22 and 25yo) stayed at this property to celebrate my son's 25th birthday. We usually do not stay in units with no reviews but we were not disappointed. The unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The highlight of this unit, however, is the location. You literally walk around the corner of your building and ski right onto the ski trail. Getting home at the end of the day is equally as easy. I have stayed in many properties that claim to be ski in/out but this was by far, the truest ski in/out unit I have stayed in. I would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful!

This condo was absolutely perfect for a family ski trip. It's right next to the slopes — you can look out the window and see people getting off the lower chairlift, and the lift to the top of the mountain is a 30 second ski away. The condo is a good size, very clean, and well furnished with all kinds of nice details like throw blankets, candles, fireplace, etc. The beds are very comfortable, and the mudroom area is so helpful for everyone getting their ski gear on and off. We honestly couldn't think of a single thing wrong with this place, and would go back in a heartbeat!

Great Location, Comfy Condo, but electrical issue

Our family stayed 4 nights at the condo; the location for skiing was great! We also loved that every afternoon when the lifts close, families bring their dogs to romp together behind the condo. We had the best view of the dog party! The condo's furnishings and bedding were comfortable, the kitchen was very well-equipped. The WiFi service was also excellent. I would have given the condo a 5-star rating but the condo has an electrical problem. Upon our arrival, four of the overhead lights in the condo did not work. These lights are all located when you first enter the condo (in the entranceway, mudroom and laundry room). These rooms do not have any windows so it was very dark when we were getting into/out of our skiwear. The wall outlets in the entranceway also did not work. (We tried changing lightbulbs and checked the fuse box but these were not causing the problem.) We called the phone number provided in the condo on the laminated 'welcome/instructions' card. Winterplace's office directed us to call Vacasa. We spoke to a Vacasa representative on the first evening but they never came to fix the problem. The electrical issue was definitely our main concern as it was not only an inconvenience, but it was a safety concern. We didn't know if the carbon monoxide and smoke detector in that area would work. And, if there was an emergency, we would not have been able to see our way out of the condo. Our family has stayed in many rental homes before. As much as we loved the location, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this condo to friends knowing about the electric issues. On our last morning, the overhead light in the bunkroom also went out. This room connects to the mudroom. I hope the owners read this review and have an electrician come out soon. I'm not sure how else to contact them. We made our reservation through VRBO, to find out Slopeside Okemo--a rental agency--would be the intermediary. A few months later we were contacted by Vacasa because they had acquired Slopeside Okemo. I'm sure the cleaning staff of this condo knew about the electrical issues. I'm surprised it was rented in its current condition.
