The Ocoee River is in our backyard with awesome fishing, peaceful scenery, and an abundance of wildlife. This private riverside cabin is located in Copperhill, TN (20 minutes from Blue Ridge GA) known for its whitewater rafting, hiking/biking trails, fishing, and mountain adventure. A short drive from tasteful restaurants, breweries, and wineries. Bring your family and friends to fish from the backyard, relax in the hot tub, play a game of pool, have dinner on the outdoor grill, and let your worries slip away while relaxing on the screened-in porch. We are located on private property which allows us to have a quiet and cozy spot to relax and unwind while exploring the local mountain towns.

We have a large fully equipped kitchen with the capability of producing a full meal for the entire family. Please communicate any suggestions or anything that may be needed that is not already provided and we will try our best to accommodate. We provide stovetop, oven, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, cookware, dinnerware, cutlery, oils, spices, condiments, etc.

The main living area is located on the middle floor of the cabin which requires the use of stairs. The main living area is open concept with a living room, kitchen, dining table, and wood-burning heater. The king suite is located off of the living room as seen in pictures with a TV and a full private bathroom. This floor also features a sofa bed (white & blue floral sofa), laundry room, half bathroom, and dog room. The dog room includes a large crate, bedding, food bowls, and blankets. The dog room opens up to a fenced-in area around the cabin.

The third floor is a loft concept living space with a king bed and sitting area. Located off of the loft area is a full bathroom with a large shower, and double sink vanity with the toilet separated by a door. Located on the opposite side of the loft area is a queen bedroom with a TV, a lounge chair, and a desk to work or read a book. Located off of the queen bedroom is the bunkroom - please see the pictures to see how the bunkroom is located off of the queen bedroom.

The bottom level floor offers a pool table, a foosball table that turns into an air hockey table, a table with chairs, wood burning heater, cornhole boards, fishing rods, and various other outdoor toys/equipment. We have DVD players, puzzles, various family-friendly cards, and board games. Walk out of the game room into the backyard to find a new, large hot tub and fire pit.

The back screened-in porch includes a large BBQ grill, two dining tables, multiple comfy chairs, and gliding chairs.

Excellent location - Cozy cabin and very private property but still super accessible to the near by restaurants, white water rafting, tubing and fishing spots - less than 5 - 10 minute drive. It’s was nice being right on the river but it was over grown at the waterfront - fine if you have waders on and older kiddos but would be hard to navigate with kids under 10. Great host with lots of little extras.

I had rented this house before and it was perfect. However when we rented this time in July, the upstairs central air was not working. They had placed a very loud window unit in one of the bedrooms but it did not cool the entire upstairs and it was very loud. We were not told about this prior to our arrival and when I contacted host in regards to this they stated that they knew there was a problem and had placed the window unit earlier in the week thinking that would solve the problem. She then suggested that the 2 people (2 adults) sleeping on the bed upstairs sleep on a futon sofa sleeper downstairs and there were box fans that could be used. I just feel for the amount of money that was paid that was not a great answer. The problem should have been resolved before we came and if not I should have been told about the problem and given the opportunity to reschedule (it's the south and mid July) The window unit was quite noisy as well. Again if they knew the central air was not working and could have placed two quite window units upstairs on each end. The house is beautiful and the location is beautiful. I understand that things break but for the price that was paid, I would definitely expect everything to be working especially the AC.

Away from the Rat Race

Great experience and thoroughly enjoyed the space afforded by this well situated property which offers close proximity to local attractions while offering the seclusion we look for in our vacations. Out host not only quickly responds to any questions or concerns but took quick action to remedy any issues that arose. Bonus is the private river access only a short walk from the house.

Quick trip

House was very spacious, clean and well-stocked. Easy to find at the end of a road and tucked back into the woods. WiFi worked great, TV worked great (but several channels unavailable, like ESPN, which was inconvenient for trying to watch bball). Check in was simple and owner was very flexible, easy to communicate with and very responsive. Pool table was fun, ping pong and foosball are loose descriptions for what is there. Did not use the hot tub but it looked clean and taken care of. Town is 5 minute easy drive and Blue Ridge is just down the road, easy 15 min drive. My two sons and I booked this for a last minute fly fishing trip, wanting somewhere on the water we could just walk out and fish. We have fished the Toccoa several times with good results (although this is north of the border so technically the Ocoee.) Unfortunately the fly fishing here was not great, and the river here doesn’t really have the “structure” to ever be a great place to wade fly fish, IMO. (Spin fishing may be better, I don’t know.) So it’s a nice place to hang out and spend time with family, but I don’t know that the fishing is “awesome”. Probably a lot of fun to swim here in summer. Would recommend.

Private Country Oasis

We had a wonderful week at the cabin! It was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. Our pups loved running around in the yard and splashing in the river. Especially loved the screened-in porch to sit and sip coffee. Hot tub is huge! Bonfires every night. The property is private and quiet which is something we appreciated. The downtown area is super cute with fun shops and friendly locals! Cherie was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

big house on the river

the space, land and river combine to make a fairy-tale location in another world (at least for me). We all loved it. The extras were wonderful! Best stocked vrbo rental ever. Only imperfection was the river was freezing ! At times, too cold to swim. The town and restaurants were quaint and accessible. Would def stay there again.

Ocoee vacation

The best experience I have had when booking a vacation rental. The host was easy to communicate with and made it very smooth booking and checking in. This is the most well stocked cabin I have ever seen and you literally never have to leave as it has something for everyone. The dogs loved the fenced yard and loved the swimming in the river, followed by the use of the outdoor shower to clean up with. So convenient and nice. Would definitely book again in the future.

Relaxing

We loved our trip it was so relaxing and fun and worked for everyone including the fur babies. The property and amenities were perfect! Would love to visit again. Only issues was the pigeons and that was just because the dogs.

Beautiful and peaceful

Beautiful home on a beautiful piece of land next to the river. It was very quiet down the dead end road. The dogs had plenty of room to run. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch. House is stocked and plenty to do there. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing short vacation close to home

•We made a quick decision to find a place to stay that wasn’t far from home. The property was less than an hour from where we live. Kids were on spring break and we wanted to get them away from the house without traveling 7 hours. Was perfect. •In short - it made us want to buy a similar property on the river close to home. Our younger boys had the best time! Sometimes the best memories are made without going on an elaborate expensive trip. •Copperhill, TN and McCaysville, GA have a neat little downtown. It’s probably a 2-3 mile drive town. The small IGA grocery store was well stocked. If you want wine or alcohol it’s about 30 minutes to Murphy, NC. They also have a big grocery store for better options if needed. Pretty drive through the mountains. •Well worth the stay and highly recommend! 😊

Great experience

This was our first time renting through VRBO so we were unsure what to expect. The home was as depicted in the photos. The cabin was well stocked with just about everything you may need. It was clean and well maintained. There were tons of games, puzzles and activities for the whole family. There were dog beds, blankets, crates, bowls and toys. The owner gave great instructions and responded to us almost immediately. We highly recommend to others and are thinking of going back in the summer! One thing to note, the owner sends directions follow those and not Google maps as it sent us down a different road across the river from the home.

The perfect vacation

This property was the perfect home away from home for my family and 2 pups. Immaculately clean, well stocked for any need, pups loved the gated area for them to run around. Hot tub and the fire pit were really nice to use on those cold days. We were close to downtown blue ridge and all the restaurants in the town close by were so good! The host was very sweet and just a text away. I couldn’t have been happier!

Great stay

We had a great stay at this cabin. So many things for the kids and adults to do. Slept 8 comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked and great to cook a Thanksgiving meal. The only downside was a lack of window coverings in the bedrooms but if you’re an early riser, no worries. I highly recommend the property!

Perfect river house

This place was perfect for our group of a few adults, some kids and dogs. Having the little dog room and fenced in area was amazing. Kids loved being so close to the river. We enjoyed being so secluded at the end of the dirt road yet only 5 minutes from town. We plan to come back when the weather is warmer.

great time in Copperhill

One of the best equipped kitchens in a VRBO I have ever seen. Great location - very peaceful. We had 3 generations and everyone had a great time. We chilled and cooked in the cabin, enjoyed the hot tub and the river ... but I did not get even a nibble while fishing. There was even a big box of blocks that the 9 month old enjoyed.

This is a cabin that was built with love & care for a couple in their retirement. They where able to make their dreams come true here for over 10 yrs. Unfortunately they passed & it was listed for sale. Our family inherited some property we where selling. When that property sold I was able trade it for this amazing cabin that I prayed over for several months. The closing was delayed. I was sure it would sell before our closing. When I felt sure we where close I made an offer because it had 3 lots listed originally & higher than I could afford. We where able to come to agreement on 2 lots & cabin. They had just sold the the 3rd lot.
For about 30 yrs it has been a dream of mine to have a cabin on the Ocoee River or Parksville Lake. This is about a hr from where I was born & lived most of my life.
We have much to praise Jesus for & be thankful that we can provide a place for families & friends to come for a respite by renting it using online plat forms. This is a place to bond, have fun, make lifelong memories that will sustain them in stressful busy times.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Private~Quite~END OF THE ROAD PROPERTY on the calmer part of Ocoee River. It is very rare to see anyone else in the river it is wooded all the way around. At this time there are 5 cabins on our road. You should hear and see different wild life.
Large kitchen 3~5 people could work in together comfortably. Also a large gas grill & outdoor eating area in screened porch just off dining room & kitchen.
