The Setting

At Heaven on the Waterfront, water defines the stay. Out front, the private pond creates a peaceful arrival and a beautiful place to fish, watch wildlife, or settle into a rocking chair with coffee. Behind the cabin, Fightingtown Creek brings the sound and movement of rushing water, with more than 250 feet of creek frontage to enjoy.

The cabin sits on 4 private acres in Cashes Valley, one of the most scenic and peaceful areas near Blue Ridge. This is the kind of property where guests can spend the whole day outside: coffee on the front porch, fishing at the pond, lunch on the deck, hot tub time after hiking, and s’mores beside the creek at night.

Inside the Cabin

Inside, Heaven on the Waterfront is designed for comfort, connection, and space. The main living area has a warm mountain-lodge feel with comfortable seating, a gas-log fireplace available seasonally from October through April, and a 4K TV for movie nights or slow mornings indoors.

The chef’s kitchen is one of the cabin’s standout features, with high-end appliances, generous prep space, a coffee bar, and everything needed for family meals, holiday cooking, or relaxed dinners at the cabin. The kitchen connects easily to the covered BBQ deck, making indoor-outdoor meals simple in every season.

The main-level primary king suite offers privacy and convenience, with an ensuite bath, double vanity, large shower, and garden tub. Upstairs, additional bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families, kids, and couples. An upstairs living area with a 4K TV and picture window gives guests another place to relax, read, watch a movie, or spread out from the main gathering space.

Game Room & Indoor Fun

The game room gives families and groups another reason to stay, play, and enjoy the cabin. With ping pong, family games, 4K TVs, and multiple living spaces, Heaven on the Waterfront works well for rainy days, longer stays, mixed-age groups, and guests who want room to be together without feeling crowded.

Outdoor Living

The outdoor spaces are what make Heaven on the Waterfront unforgettable. The front porch looks toward the pond and wooded setting, while the back deck and outdoor areas connect you to Fightingtown Creek.

Relax in the hot tub, cook dinner on the covered BBQ deck, gather around the creekside fire pit, enjoy the sound of rushing water, or fish from the pond. The fenced backyard area is especially helpful for guests traveling with dogs, and the combination of pond, creek, porch, deck, hot tub, and fire pit gives every guest a favorite place to settle in.

Choose Heaven on the Waterfront when you want a true group cabin, but still want the kind of water setting usually found at smaller, more private retreats.

Exceptional property and management! Our family, including 2 pups, totally enjoyed a short spring break visit here. It seemed very peaceful, had everything we needed and lots of extras - comfortable beds and seating, nice water pressure for showers, kitchen well equipped, nice grill, wonderful hot tub, pond and stream with firepit were great, fenced area for the dogs, fun ping pong table. All exceeded our expectations. We only left for a few excursions - Mercier Orchards for one and some of our group went for atv riding (Blue Ridge Offroad Adventures) which they enjoyed despite cold wet weather that day. We would definitely like to return, maybe in the summer!

This cabin was nice and secluded. It had a small manmade pond and a creek that was past that with a small fire pit area. It was a really nice getaway not too far from BlueRidge. You do have to drive down some tight windy roads and spend a little time on a gravel road, but that’s north Georgia for you.

We are so grateful to you Doug for your kind words! Great pics too! Please come back soon! (Note for future guests - the road to the cabin is 100% paved coming in from Blue Ridge until the last 1/2 mile. Then it's county maintained gravel until you get to the cabin driveway (also gravel). We have a concrete parking pad at the house outside the garage.)

Really is Heaven

This place was awsome!! Perfect for a family of 6. The pond lived up to the hype! All 6 of us caught a fish in it, most being decent sized bluegill. My son even caught 2 bass! ( P.S. we used live worms.) The only thing we disliked was the beds; they were noisey and uncomfortable. But overall awsome experience.

We fell in love with the Blue Ridge/Ellijay/McCaysville area many years ago bringing our kids up for hikes and camping and enjoying the many activities available in those areas. Now that our kids are grown they still enjoy these mountains and so do we, in every way. Cashes Valley is our favorite area to be in because of its pristine forests and streams and its close proximity to ATL.

Why they chose this property

Creeksong is a one-of-a-kind setting on the bend of a trophy trout stream. You can see and hear the creek from every room and there are many outdoor spaces from which to enjoy the creek and view. Incredible flora and fauna surround you here. This is the perfect place to bring a family or for a couple (or two couples) to enjoy time together. A truly perspective-changing place.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy the best of both worlds: rushing Fightingtown Creek in back, a peaceful pond out front, and a luxury 4BR/3.5BA cabin built for gathering, relaxing, fishing, playing, and soaking up the mountain-water setting.
