The Property

Relax in a quiet cove of Hebron in this cozy, 2 bedroom, 2 full bath single family waterfront home. Little Birds Cove is located on 2.2 acres along a scenic bend in the Rewastico Creek, a tidal marsh creek off of the Nanticoke River. This is one of the most beautiful and relatively untouched tidal creeks leading to Nanticoke River, offering quiet nature & beauty. Now offering direct waterfront access via newly constructed pier and boardwalk and floating dock. Come relax, enjoy fishing, crabbing, bird watching, kayaking, or simply relax.

Enjoy the backyard patio with custom built in fire pit and seating. Garage recently converted to game room with ping pong, arcade game, foosball table and tv. We have 2 kayaks & 2 bikes on site for your use along with crab traps and steaming equipment. There are also supersized kickball game, cornhole, badminton, and other yard games available for use.

PET

We are about an hour from Assateague Island and Ocean City if you’re looking for a beach day on the Atlantic, and 15-20 minutes from a wide variety of bayside beaches. Lots of shopping and dining options about 20 minutes away in either Cambridge or Salisbury, and a local pizza shop offers delivery.

PET FRIENDLY WITH OWNER APPROVAL

Comfortable recessed family room to play board games or relax and enjoy your favorite movie. WiFi is available for all of your devices or getting work done. On site washer and dryer, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets.

The bedrooms have brand new comfy beds with linens quilts & comforters to choose from. Each room has large closets and a drawer set. Two full bathrooms with everything you need including a bathtub, bath towels, hair dryer and provisional bath supplies.


Perfect for sports tournaments and families visiting Salisbury University. Pemberton Park, Wicomico Civic Center, UMES and the Salisbury Zoo are all 15 or so miles away.

Guest has access to the entire property. There is self-check-in via the keypad code.
CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 4 PM AND CHECKOUT IS NO LATER THAN 11 AM.
ACCESS – The front door has a digital lock. Code provided 24 hrs before check in.
LINENS – Linens & towels provided. Each bedroom has sheets, light quilts, a comforter and pillows. Bath & beach towels also provided.

Peaceful Stay

This was our second time staying here. We played cornhole, fished, grilled, and relaxed on the enclosed porch. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a great weekend. The host's communication and hospitality were also exemplary. Thank you again!

Amazing Stay

The house decor made me feel relaxed the minute we stepped through the front door. Everything was well stocked for convenience and comfort. We fished off the pier, sat by the fire pit, and enjoyed listening to the rain from the screened-in porch. Great communication from the owner and it’s close enough to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We are regular VRBO travelers and would rate Little Birds Cove as one of the nicest, private, best located, and good overall value out of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Being centrally located between Cambridge & Salisbury is handy, and only a short drive to dozens of restaurants and lots of shopping. We would highly recommend this wonderful home for a family friendly, peaceful stay. Great communication with host, too!

Clean and Peaceful Rural Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home - because of weather and time of year we couldn't fully take advantage of some of the amenities (bikes, kayaks) but used the house as a home base for visiting some nearby refuges (Chincoteague, Blackwater) as well as the Harriet Tubman Museum and Ocean City. Close enough to Cambridge and Salisbury for stores, restaurants and other shopping needs. The farmers' markets aren't yet open but when they are it will be in easy reach of many of them. The home is immaculately clean with a well appointed kitchen and 2 full bathrooms - everything you need including linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc etc. even a welcoming snack basket and a nice coffee bar. We enjoyed the firepit in the back; it was very private and quiet. The pier was great for stargazing. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, and with the basic supplies you need. We were a little sad that we couldn't use the fireplace/wood stove but that seems to be out of the control of the owner and I could understand that could be a risk if someone is unfamiliar with the operation of a wood stove. The house was very comfortable with the temperature readily controlled. A lovely get away on the eastern shore. Would like to go back when the weather is a bit warmer and could take full advantage of some of the offerings.

Rural Gem

Rented this property when we came to the lower shore for the Seagull Century. Beautiful, quiet, well appointed cabin with a great screened porch. Super responsive owner answered all questions within minutes. Definitely away from it all, which was just what we needed.

Nothing soothes the soul more than starting your morning in the screened in porch with a hot beverage from the well stocked coffee & tea bar. Quietly listen to the sound of nature waking up in the cove. In the evening, prepare dinner on the gas grill then relax in the screened in porch with a book. Or pick up fresh local seafood from one of many nearby markets. After a day of fun traveling to the beach, kayaking, fishing, shopping, or whatever your trip brings you…our house is the perfect place for relaxation.

We are in the heart of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, centrally located just a short drive from many parks and beaches that offer a variety of outdoor activities, and the property backs to a number of wildlife preserves, including the Nanticoke River National Wildlife Management Area and the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.
