A new queen size sleeper sofa sits in front of the panoramic ocean views. The unit is finished throughout with beautiful Italianate tile. The bathroom has a stone-tiled walk-in shower. Our oceanfront vacation condo at the beautiful Kihei Surfside Resort in Kihei, Maui, is steps away from the ocean and offers turtle, dolphin and seasonal (Dec-April) whale watching, and spectacular Maui sunsets all year round. It's paradise . . enjoying a morning coffee on the lawn and watching the sea turtles swimming in the water in front of the building. The islands of Lanai, Kaho’olawe and also and Molokini Crater can be seen from the property. The rocky beach front offers excellent snorkeling, best accessed from the beautiful golden sand of Keawakapu beach, one of Maui’s best beaches, just steps away behind the neighboring Mana Kai Resort.

A 5-minute drive takes you to all the shops and restaurants of Kihei town or the Shops at Wailea. The condo is at the end of a long driveway from S. Kihei road, so that you don’t hear the traffic noise – just the ocean waves, birds chirping, and the sweet, incredible trade winds.

We are directly oceanfront and the Pacific trade winds blow in right off the ocean each afternoon. These trade winds, along with ceiling fans in the living and bedrooms, keep the condo comfortable for most people. If you prefer a cooler temperature a brand new Daikin air conditioner has just been installed in the bedroom as of March 2024.

We are unit 208, on the 2nd floor, in the center of the building, the view looks out across the lawn directly to the ocean. And, parking is free. People who have stayed at the Kihei Surfside love it and tend to return.
