Let me start with the positives:1. Great location2. Ample parkingThe downfall of this property:1. Unbelievable amount of black mold that was discovered unfortunately as we were packing to leave. Every vent in the ceiling and even in the corner of some of the walls were covered in it. Again, we should've taken the time when we arrived to look closely at the ceilings. It was late and honestly, we were all just excited and busy getting our families settled. 2. The home was not cleaned properly prior to our arrival- we did not call Litchfield and complain because again, we are understanding that this is coastal area home, so sandy floors aren't 100% preventable. Unfortunately, as the week went on we noticed several other unkept/uncleaned areas of the home. On the morning of day 2, my sister picked up my one year old niece and everyone noticed the baby's feet were nearly solid black on the bottom.3. There is not a TV in a downstairs bedroom, the doorknob is broken, and the fan in that same bedroom sounds as if it is going to fall out of the ceiling. 4. The TV in the bunkbed room is extremely small- the size of a computer monitor. 5. My brother was downstairs in the common-area outside and went to open a storage closet to look for a broom. The door itself was locked, but the door opened. No broom, so nothing was removed. Closet was under a camera, which showed the entire thing. Later, a man showed up at the home accusing my brother of "breaking in" the closet!

Didn't want to leave!

This home was the best home we have ever stayed in! We loved the elevator when we were loading and unloading the car, also very nice when it rained. The outdoor shower kept the car and home clean, love that it is pet friendly w/privacy fence. The views from front and back deck are awesome, and the short walk to the beach was so nice and convenient. I cannot say enough about this home, we didn't want to leave!
