Welcome to Slopeside 2760, our family's beautiful, newly upgraded one bedroom, two bath condo in world-class Keystone, Colorado!

We are excited to announce that we just purchased all new living room furniture including a high end sectional and swivel chair. We also upgraded our electronics to a brand new 49"LG Smart TV which allows viewing from anywhere in the condo!

In addition, we purchased a beautiful sleeper sofa for the second living area with a highly upgraded memory foam mattress that is very comfortable.

These upgrades complement the Slopeside Condominium Association's $3.7 million exterior renovation project which resulted in brand new siding, windows, new hot tubs, a gas fire pit, and extensive patio furniture which guarantees a relaxing vacation experience for you and your family! This multi-million dollar project was the most exciting project in all of Keystone resort. We are so very grateful to have been active members of this beautiful community for the past nine years! It is our very favorite place to vacation ourselves.

Our third (top) floor corner unit condo is one of the most extensively upgraded condos in Slopeside! We have many return guests every year and welcome new guests too! Be sure to see all of our reviews including the VRBO Bear's who stayed at our condo and had a wonderful time!

Slopeside 2760 is the perfect place to vacation all year round, and in summertime you will enjoy our proximity to the Snake River and the hiking/biking trails throughout Keystone Resort/Summit County. In ski season you will love our amazing proximity to the Peru and Argentine lifts! We are just steps from Camp Keystone and the Discovery Learning Area so you can watch your children from our deck or through any window in our condo! Coming back to the condo for lunch is easy and saves big money on overpriced resort food.

In our kitchen you'll find slab granite countertops, cherry cabinets, hardwood and tile floors, Cuisinart stainless appliances, full place settings and plenty of extras, and storage for your groceries! On the main level, a spa-like bathroom with dual shower heads await you! Upstairs you'll find a half bath w/fabulous mountain and ski slope views as well!

On the main level area is a brand new queen sofa in the separate living area with a highly upgraded memory foam mattress. This room has a cozy fireplace which is a nice, quiet place to sit with a book while enjoying the beautiful views of Buffalo Mountain to the west.

Take in the views from the living/dining room with wall to wall windows! Here you will find a pub style table and four chairs -- the perfect place for a steamy cup of coffee or a hot chocolate in the morning. Enjoy a glass of wine or a home-cooked dinner while you watch the sun set over Buffalo Mountain to the west!

Our lofted one bedroom has a queen bed with cozy linens, down-alternative pillows, a paprika colored chair, leather ottoman, a second newer flat screen TV, DVD player, and a half bath with sink/toilet! Beautiful views of the slopes from these rooms, too!

Relax in the super comfy living areas where you can play cards or games, read, watch a movie or a favorite show! You can even check your email with our FREE WiFi!

For a special treat, head to one of our two BRAND NEW hot tubs on the main patio area overlooking the slopes and Buffalo Mountain to the west! You can even make s'mores at our BRAND NEW fire pit! After the sun goes down, the hot tubs and fire pit areas are a great place to do some star gazing in our clear Rocky Mountain skies! Enjoy grilling at our community Slopeside BBQ while relaxing with your family/friends at one of our patio tables!

Our private, heated underground parking garage with FREE parking allows you to park and forget about your car. The FREE Keystone shuttle will take you throughout the resort -- how convenient is that?! Ride the elevator to our 3rd floor condo which is a corner unit with two walls of windows offering amazing mountain and ski slope views and lots of natural light – there is no one above you! No stairs to deal with either! In ski season you can store your skis and snowboards in our private ski locker located just outside of the elevator.

Enjoy fine dining and shopping as well as some pampering at one of Keystone's world-class spas. We are conveniently located less than 15 minutes from the Silverthorne Premium Outlet Shops where you will find fine brands such as Ralph Lauren, Nike, Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein, and more!

About Elizabeth Hale

We are the Hale Family and we have been skiing and snowboarding at Keystone for many years. We love our mountain home with great views, lots of light, and a cozy atmosphere. We've enjoyed decorating it with beautiful mountain decor, and we vacation here with our family and friends frequently! We especially like the easy and super convenient location by the lifts! We hope you will enjoy staying in our mountain home as much as we do!

Why Elizabeth Hale chose Keystone

Keystone is only 70 miles from Denver and you can easily be here in less than 90 minutes! We love the Mountain House location for its proximity to the lifts -- this luxuriously renovated building is the closest building to the lifts and ski school in this area! A perfect location for skiing first thing in the morning, taking an easy break for a hot lunch back at our condo that is so incredibly close to the mountain. Then back to skiing for the afternoon or you can take a nap before night skiing! Or hit one of the hot tubs! Perfect!

In the spring, summer and fall, our Slopeside condo is our favorite place to go to enjoy some quiet relaxation. We always come home rejuvenated. It is perfectly lovely enjoying the majestic views from every window. We love to walk, go bike riding, run, or just read a book -- it truly is our 'peaceful place!'

What makes this condo unique

Many call the Slopeside building ski in/ski out (including Vail Resorts) which is true after one of many heavy snowfalls. The rest of the time, it's not exactly ski in-ski out, but is just about as close as you can get in the Mountain House Village to the slopes. It's a very quick walk to the Argentine and Peru lifts from our building! And, you don't have to mess with stairs with our super convenient elevator to the third floor! Your car always stays warm and snow-free in our heated underground parking garage!

Look how close the ski slopes are!

I was looking for a nice mountain home to visit during the final week of skiing at Keystone, when I came across this wonderful condo. I couldn’t believe how close it was to the slopes! Just a few paw-steps and I was at the chairlift, ready to start my day of skiing. Slopeside? Definitely! This condo was the perfect size for me to rest and unwind after my winter adventures. I could relax upstairs in bed and watch the great flat-screen TV or on the comfy leather couch downstairs in front of another flat-screen TV. This unit even had a DVD player, an iPod dock, and wi-fi so I could keep in touch with my favorite website – VRBO. I really liked the tile and hardwood floors throughout the condo. And the kitchen was so nice! Beautiful cabinets, countertops and tile work all made for truly enjoyable meal preparation. The whole condo was so bright and airy with all the windows. And what a view! You really get to appreciate Keystone Mountain and the surrounding area by staying this close to the slopes – and by relaxing on the balcony with a hot cup of cocoa. The condo is located close to all of the fine dining, skiing and shopping that Summit County has to offer. You’ll never be too far away from any of the year-round fun! To top it all off, the owner was great to work with. She was happy to help with anything we needed, and she really made our stay a memorable one. The quality and location of this condo unit are outstanding! From the parking garage, furnishings, hot tub, and short distance to the lifts the place was perfect. This was our second time staying at the same unit and we look forward to another visit next season.

Quiet, close Keystone base camp

First, close, easy walk to Peru lift, at the quiet, uncrowded base of Keystone. Second, well appointed, modern. Third, great apres ski outdoor hot tubs. I had the loft, my adult son had the pull out; both quiet and comfortable; loft has private bath; shared shower downstairs, no worries. Kitchen has everything you need for eggs/bagels, soup/sandwiches, and then nachos followed by fajitas or pasta! Easy drive in/out from Dillon. Can't go wrong here. Loved it!

Cozy, comfy weekend getaway!

This cozy condo is not only beautifully appointed with furnishings that are both new and practical, everything is incredibly clean and in excellent condition. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are so SOFT! We enjoyed wonderful views in each of the downstairs seating areas, not to mention on the private patio. The central location made it easy to visit friends staying at A-Basin, while still having plenty of time to drive to Dillon for drinks at their marina the same evening. Thanks for a wonderful stay -- we will definitely be back!

Quaint but dirty place

Terrific location at the base of Keystone and a stone's throw from the ski school. It's a very old building with an incredible makeover at this unit. It's obvious upon entering this corner unit that the owners took great pride in refinishing with quality workmanship. It's a little awkward insofar as there is no "bedroom" but only an open loft with a half bath attached. Then the one full bathroom on the main level is smack dab next to the kitchen. Not very appetizing if someone decides to drop a stink-bomb in the toilet only inches away. The kitchen is crammed in a corner and the fridge doors are on backwards so it's rather uncomfortable to maneuver between cooking and someone else using the bathroom.

It really could be a cozy getaway if not for the several layers of dust everywhere! It actually looked as if nobody had vacuumed or cleaned in over 8 months. We found food crumbs and dirt everywhere. The kitchen and bathroom sinks were clean, but all the ledges, stands, sills and floors were filthy. The lap blankets lying around were smelly. The toilets had poop stains and I was actually able to find a scrub brush to clean myself. Kind of broke my heart to see such a cute place not cared for properly.

The building provides luggage carts from the 1960's, with shredded wheels, so hauling things up isn't AS difficult. The elevator and hallways are rather dingy and dirty too but the view from inside the unit is really good. The master bed looked like someone had been lying on top of it and hastily fluffed it as it was messy and the decorative pillows were still crammed in the closet. Dust bunnies the size of avocados were in the closets, under the bed and behind every piece of furniture in the place. The light fixtures were actually fuzzy with tons of dust! Every one! Burnt out bulbs in loft/bedroom, main bathroom and over stove, no instructions for AV equipment usage, stale-smelling blankets and pillows just made for a miserable time. Me being sick as a dog didn't help matters either and I couldn't find a small soup pot to heat a can of soup.

Oh and the shower had mold and mildew all along the bottom of the stall as well as broken shower knobs which do not shut off properly nor allow one to determine hot or cold after wasting gallons of water. Not sure if their cleaning and management company is slacking off BIGTIME or what, but I don't think the owners were aware of the problems until now. Or were they? Hmmmm.

Owner's Response: It's very unfortunate that this guest chose to vent her complaints here, many of which were quite exaggerated, especially as I had taken the time to communicate with her about each one during her stay and had reached resolution. Her review seemed extremely mean spirited which is sad because I did my very best to help her. Our property manager and cleaning crew also worked very hard to make things right with her. Occasionally there's a guest who just can't be satisfied. Both our condo, as well as the entire Slopeside HOA, have been professionally upgraded so I am not following her logic where she states, "it's obvious that the owners took great pride in refinishing the condo with quality workmanship." Then she went on to criticize the design of our kitchen and bathroom. It's sophomoric. We, unfortunately, have had a couple of issues with our housekeeping crew this ski season for the first time in the nearly 10 years of ownership. This is something we take very, very seriously and we did thoroughly investigate it with property management.This guest did, however, send me a separate email after her stay where she stated, "All the linens smelled fresh and clean. I appreciated the small amenities such as lotion, soap, air freshener and wine and coffee." I was very involved with this guest from the time of check in (after hours on a Sunday evening) when she contacted me about some cleaning concerns. I immediately offered to reach out to Housekeeping but when I was unable to reach them, she said it was ok if Housekeeping would come in the morning to attend to some areas that they hadn't finished. I learned the next day that Housekeeping was unable to make things right as a DO NOT DISTURB sign was on the door and no one answered! She told me she was sick in bed all day and did not want to be disturbed! This guest also commented that she couldn't find a sauce pan, yet our property manager confirmed that all of the pans were stored carefully in the drawer in the kitchen. Quite frankly, I was flabbergasted that this guest wrote such a scathing review, especially since I went out of my way to help her. Sadly, she chose to spend her romantic winter getaway with her husband writing such drivel about our lovely condo.
