Our 2nd time renting this place, amazing time home was very cozy, not a very busy neighborhood quite enough to hear birds in the morning and close enough to everything will be booking again 10/10

Very clean and comfortable. Loved the location - easy walking to downtown stores and restaurants (highly recommend the Bluefish), and neighborhood walks revealed a ton of historic homes that I really enjoyed reading about - took lots of photos (see below). A quick drive to beaches - for humans and others for dogs. Even though our dogs are corgis, one of them is practically an olympic swimmer, so dog-beach friendly is a real plus for us. Behind the storefronts on River St, be sure to take the riverfront walk.

Family of six stayed here. Had a lovely stay. House is just a 3 block walk from stores and restaurants. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Communication with owner was excellent. Thanks for having us!

Nice - could use some attention to detail

Bedrooms are not describes as all being upstairs. Stairway can be narrow and steep for older adults. House could use a deep clean. Neighbor has a poster in window talking about “slumlords” referring to rental/vacation properties and made us not feel welcome in town honestly. Overall house had a nice location. Parking is on street. Beach and downtown Manistee are 5 mins away. Blankets in bedrooms are light, toilet tank had a zip tie job going on and toilet ran a lot unless we fixed it. Code didn’t work at check in - had to wait for owner to program door code after calling him. Spiders in curtains and cobwebs everywhere.

The photos accurately depict the home. It is very clean, updated and comfortable. The bedrooms are all upstairs. It has a nice porch for coffee in the mornings. Located in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from downtown. Randall was very communicative and responded quickly to questions I had about a couple of minor maintenance concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Manistee.

Great Family Vacation

This home was even better than expected. The location is great for walking around the downtown area. Lots of space for a family! I can’t say enough great things about this place it was absolutely perfect!

We had a great trip the place was even nicer than expected. Everything was very clean and we had all we needed and more in terms of “extras” (tp, tea, coffee, honey, etc.). Great place.

Great time

Loved our visit. Everything was great except the yard was a little overgrown and needed care. The home was clean and everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms was provided. There was an incident across the street our first morning. Neighbor called police. Three police cars came within 5 min. Seemed to be resolved after about half an hour. Rest of stay was uneventful. I would definitely stay again. So close to town and beaches. ♄

I could LIVE in this house!

Very comfortable and homey. Nicely decorated and conveniently located. They allow pets, so we were concerned it would smell like dog, but it did not at all! Beds were pretty comfortable, and kitchen was fully stocked. We all just loved it! Some confusion about the check-in process because it stated we were to provide a 4-digit pin but not how or when we should provide it, so I would clarify that if I were the host. I had to call the host just hours before we were going to arrive to get that information. Also, would have liked to know beforehand that parking was only available on the street (the driver was a bit finicky about her vehicle). Lastly, the backyard was quite small (no issue), but overgrown. A good weed whack and/or mow would have been nice so we could sit in our chairs on the grass. Hopefully, the host sees this all as constructive criticism only and room for improvement. Overall, we had everything we needed but tissues and bathroom spray! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice Property

Enjoyed our stay, house was clean and well appointed. Quiet neighborhood about 5 blocks from the main business district. Wasn't an issue for us but just so others are aware, all three bedrooms are on the second floor. Would not hesitate to book again if in the area.
