The Daily Double Cottage is your ticket to both adventure and relaxation. Two bedrooms, two full bath remodeled 1930s cottage that is two blocks from Oaklawn Racing and Casino and minutes from bathhouse row downtown. It’s an easy five-minute walk to the racetrack or casino on well-lit streets. The walk is as close as from their parking lot so no parking fees! 1 mile to Majestic Park - we welcome all travel baseball and softball families.

Beautiful original hardwood floors. Updated kitchen has all the amenities you will want or need, along with stocked snacks and coffee. Queen beds in both bedrooms and a queen sleeper will keep you comfortable along with three smart TVs.

Both bathrooms have been completely remodeled with custom tiled showers and one with a tub, along with new vanities. Laundry facility with washer and dryer. Outdoor deck for outdoor entertaining, fire pit with a rock patio, charcoal grill, and children’s picnic table all in a completely fenced in back yard. Concrete driveway with carport along with off street parking.

Pets can be accommodated with prior approval and non-refundable pet deposit.

If you're going to Oaklawn, this is the perfect location. The home is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The home is equipped with everything you need and is definitely with walking distance of Oaklawn.

Thank you for your review and hope to host you again. We did our best with the renovation and added a back bathroom, so there is actually another entrance to the back bedroom. There for you don’t have to go through a bedroom to that room.

Renovated and charming, this gem of a property maintains history and offers modern convenience. The property owners put much thought into the details. We especially enjoyed the turntable and records. It does offer off street parking however, my big rig didn’t fit under the carport. No big deal as I was happy I didn’t need to park on the street.You are literally two blocks from Oaklawn, so if in town for the races, this is your place. Getting to bathhouse row requires a drive, as it is a bit further and I wouldn’t recommend walking through a part of the area between the house and the bathhouses. There’s plenty of restaurant choices and I recommend looking beyond the tourist area We particularly enjoyed The Goat Mediterranean and The Best Cafe.

We liked that is was very close to Oakland it was about a 5 minute walk

The house was very clean and we enjoyed are stay we come down once or twice a year it was very nice to stay at the house and not far from Oakland

Hello! We are the Spielbauer's and we currently live in Shreveport, LA. We love to travel, have a daughter, and three fur babies. My name is Brooke and I'm a Nurse Practitioner working in family practice and aesthetic medicine, and my husband is Jake, he is Principal Lecturer of Health and Physical Education, at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts. We hope you will enjoy Hot Springs! We love the downtown, trails, food, shopping, and the horse races!
