We are excited to share our modern loft/townhome at 705 Oak Street, located in the heart of Hood River.

Rest: After a long day playing in the Gorge, rest peacefully in one of the 4 luxurious bedrooms with memory foam mattresses (2 queens, 2 kings), boasting high-thread-count sheets and luxurious towels. Wash off the day in one of the 2 walk-in showers and 1 bathtub and enjoy complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Eating: We offer a well-appointed kitchen with high-end appliances, cooking pans, utensils, and basic spices. You can also use the grill on the patio to entertain family and friends while enjoying the expansive views of the town of Hood River, the Columbia River, and the White Salmon Bluff.

The loft is located in the heart of historic downtown Hood River. Walk to countless bars, restaurants, shops, and other activities. Within a 4 block radius are Mike's Ice Cream, Evoke Winery, The Pines Winery, 6th Street Bistro, Kickstand Cafe, Double Mountain Pizza, Oak Street Pub, and countless other entertainment and food options.

Mt. Hood Meadows ski area is a quick 30-minute drive up Highway 35, and Government Camp and Timberline Lodge (where they filmed The Shining) are another 15 minutes up the hill.

Enjoy a 15-minute walk to the spit and the Port of Hood River Event Site for kiteboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, and wingsurfing, or stay home and watch the magical dance of kites from your top floor patio deck.

Indian Creek Golf Course is a quick 15-minute drive South, or pedal from the home to Post Canyon Mountain Biking.

Our Home:
Top Floor: expansive deck with BBQ, spectacular views, and outdoor furniture; kitchen; living room with 65" smart TV ready for you to stream your favorite channels or movies; dining room with formal dining table for 6; large bedroom with king bed; and full bathroom with walk-in shower and heated bidet seat.

2nd Floor (Garage Level): 2 sizeable dedicated parking spaces (one in front of garage and one across driveway labeled for 705 Oak); main entry foyer with laundry room and washer and dryer; coat closet; master bedroom with king bed and views of the Columbia River; and master bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilet room with heated bidet, and access to a small private deck.

1st Floor (Lower Floor with access to Oak Street): 2 bedrooms (both with queen-size beds; a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and heated bidet; and private entrance to Oak Street and the gateway to downtown Hood River.

Need extra room? The couch in the living room also folds out to a queen-size memory foam mattress. Please let us know if you need extra linens for the fold-out couch.

Internet: Enjoy high-speed internet and mesh wifi throughout the home. Login info will be provided at check-in.

downtown Hood River is a vibrant and fun place to be. Our rental is 2 blocks from the heart of Hood River and we enjoy walking to dinner or in town to window shop. The spit is a quick 3 minutes drive for waterfront activities and the town kiteboarding launch. Post Canyon is an 8 minute drive for world class mountain biking and hiking. We love this location because it is very walkable and accessible for any adventure we desire for the day.

The north-facing wall of the living area is a 9-foot-tall glass door that folds accordion style to open to the deck on Oak Street, which overlooks the Columbia River and the town's main kiteboarding launch.
