This dog themed cottage calls Crescent City home, a secluded jewel among California's North Coast. Unwind at this stunning beach town retreat nestled at the foot of the redwoods forest and Pacific Ocean. This is the gateway to wild rivers, secret beaches, and giant redwoods. Find peace or adventure at the Cottages at Crescent City. Our guests love the convenient location to beaches and the redwoods!

The cozy cottage has everything you and your “best-friend” ** will need to feel right at home. This one bedroom cottage has a comfy Queen sized bed, one bath and a well stocked kitchen. The open concept floor plan has a Futon sofa that converts into a Full size bed. An oversized custom patio comes complete with a safety gate to keep young children or your pets secure on deck!
Located just a few minutes from outdoor activities and city experiences. Enjoy your morning coffee or late day appetizers on your own large patio, while your ‘Best Friend” ** lounges on his own canopy covered patio cot.
Yes, your most dogs are welcome in WOOF LODGE **(the following breeds are not allowed: Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Doberman Pincers, Chow Chows , Wolf dogs and Wolf dog hybrids) Conveniently located off the 101 Hwy we share a drive-way entrance with Pacific Ocean Park, (RV and MHP)
If you need more space or want to host a family reunion there we have additional properties in the Cottages at Crescent City; Vrbo 2798335 and Vrbo 2712670.

Please note there are security cameras and motion lighting located onside the units facing the parking and entrance areas.

Cozy quiet super clean and omg that bed is so comfy. Great place to recover from beach fun and it was a respite for us after camping for a week. Grateful for a pet friendly place we could all decompress together.

Joni is a fantastic host--so helpful and communicative. Wuff Cottage was perfect for traveling with our dog. Not only were all the human amenities provided, but all the nicities for your canine companion. Easy check-in and well stocked kitchen.

Wonderful experience staying at the Woof Lodge in Crescent City during a trip to explore the beautiful Redwoods. The hosts gave accurate directions for their rental which was located in an RV park. Convenient location just north of town and near Jedidiah State Park. Their weekend price was very reasonable, cozy with amenities and cutely decorated - apropos for the name of their dog theme. I’d definitely recommend this rental!Dakota

More room and amenities than a motel room of similar cost. It's in an RV/mobile home park, but the neighborhook was clean, safe and friendly, and convenient to everything we wanted. Pet friendly and good communication, even when the power went out in town. (There was no flashlight over the fridge, but we didn't need one.) We liked the kitchen, parking, and deck.

4th of July reunion

Great place with easy access to incredible Redwoods and trails as well as the beautiful beaches.!!I love taking photos and this place gives you plenty of opportunities to take wonderful pics. The place is super clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable. Easy access and the deck is great for pets and small Children. I would stay there again.

Great Stay with a dog

Really nice with thoughtful little extras and attention to detail. They had everything you need for an extended stay for both people and dogs. From dog beds, cooking utensils, to wine openers, they even had a dog brush. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage named, Woof Lodge, had adorable dog accessories in every room. Ceramic dog lamps even a dog toilet paper holder. The cottage was very clean and organized to make our stay easier.

Our stay

My mom and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. It’s centrally located and we could get pretty much wherever we wanted to go within 20 mins. The host was very kind and willing to help with anything and we found check in to be easy. My only complaint was the fire alarm, anytime we cooked anything even with the fans on the fire alarm would sound and there was no way to manually turn it off.

Red Wood Forest

We stayed in the Woof Lodge, it was so cute and clean. It was easy to find and get into. Good location to beach, Redwood Forest, food. There were treats, toys, bed for our little dog with potty areas outside. The communication was great and so friendly. I would for sure stay there again. I used a laundry mat and they were so nice and it was clean as well.

Cute, cozy little rental. Everything was very clean. I liked that all the cupboards were labeled for contents. Although it is advertised as a rental for 4 people, it is really only comfortable for 2 people who share a bed. The futon in the living room was not comfortable (perhaps OK for kids). The refrigerator was making a load noise--we had to turn off the fridge in order to sleep.

Than you for your review. We ( it’s only 3 seasons old! ! We are looking into replacing the refrigerator. I’m sorry you don’t find the futon comfortable. We have slept there ourselves many times and preferred it over the bed. I think if you like firm mattresses, the futon works.

Sorry you felt that way. The park is very safe. We so have security measures in place unbeknownst to our guests . We have had many guests, friends and we too have stayed in our units with absolutely no incidents. Sorry you felt uneasy.

Excellent place to stay

I have never been to Crescent City before. Was looking for a “healing place”. Somewhere close to the ocean and the Redwoods. I found it!!! The Woof Lodge is perfect. It is warm, comfy and equipped with everything you might need. Minutes from the ocean and very easy access to the Redwoods. The place itself is very clean, very dog friendly And comfortable for an evening in or out. So happy to have found this little jewel and will definitely be back. So many places to explore and discover. The owners go out of their way to accommodate. And are very easy to communicate with

After spending so much time searching for a dog friendly stay so we could check out redwoods I finally came across the perfect stay. There was only one or two reviews so I wasn’t sure if it would be everything it said it would be. It was. Even after a little hiccup at the beginning when we were given the wrong door code we got a very quick call back and problem solved easy. The atmosphere of a comfort and vacation with our dog was everything we could have asked for. Everything super close, coffee, groceries, restaurants, beaches, bowling and awesome gym we walked to. If you’re a dog lover you’ll love and appreciate every little detail about this home.

Wonderful

We chose this area to see the Redwood Forrest. This rental is dog friendly. We often travel with our dogs. There were dog treats, waste bags, toys, bowls, dog towels and a pet cot available for their use, if needed. The property is on a dirt/gravel spot. There are 2 artificial grass areas in front of the house for potty times. A hose is available for each area to make clean up easy. Not only for them but to clean the sand off shoea and feet. The owner was super helpful with giving tips for sight seeing and shopping. The staff we met were above and beyond with our wants. Highly recommend this rental.

Amazing Anniversary Stay <3

We stayed two nights at The Woof Lodge it was an amazing weekend. The weather didn't want to cooperate, but it was still beautiful. We spent our time hiking and relaxing out the porch. The house was clean and ready for us to use. The instructions were very easy to understand for getting to the property and into it. Our pup got to come with us and while the traveling seemed to stress her out she was happy to have a place to relax after the car ride. The enclosed porch with the grass was great for our little one to be able to relax outside with us while there. The location was easy to find just right of the main highway. It was very close to shopping and dining allowing us to relax and enjoy our anniversary get away. We will be making more trips in the future; I hope we get the opportunity to stay here next time we go to Cresent City. We highly recommend the Woof Lodge, visit the Aquarium and Trees of Mystery.

Finally a true pet friendly rental

First off this is a brand new home and smells brand new! It had everything we needed ( all brand new) and more. There were dog treats for our dogs, a fenced in deck area and an area to play ball with our dogs. You can have your dog sleep on the bed with you or kick it on the couch with you…. I have never stayed in a rental that allows that. I have stayed in several “pet friendly rentals” but when arriving you find the house rules of “ no dogs in house or it’s a 100 fine” or “no pets on furnishings or it is a 150$ fine”….. it is a short drive to Pebble Beach where dogs can be off leach…. This is now going to be our go to rental and we can’t wait to get back!

We are just off Hwy 101, but less than 10 minutes to the beach and to the redwoods. 20 minutes from Oregon. We are secluded in a private area near a mobile home and RV park.
