Great cabin super close to the marina at a great price. Only thing to be aware of is there isn’t ac but if that’s not a problem then this is a strong recommend
Location was great . Amenities good. In Bear box wouldn't open though.

Lovely place to stay!
This house is in a nice neighborhood walking distance from the Pines Resort and restaurants. It was clean and comfortable. The decor feels dated but in a cozy cabin kind of way.
A couple lightbulbs were out but the house was very clean, has a great cozy atmosphere, excellent location, plenty of room, and the renters were very easy to contact and quick to respond. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful
Enjoyed the home, felt very comfortable. it was a nice stay for our little family:)
We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Lancaster Cozy Cabin. Perfect location close to the Marina & Pines Resort for us to enjoy Bass Lake & Yosemite. Great value, roomy with knotty pine interior, comfy beds & outdoor decks to enjoy the forest.
Our family has a cabin across the street. We rented this cozy cabin to celebrate the 4th of July with family. Everything was just as pictured. The cabin has an oversized comfy living room, a dining and kitchen table large enough to fit the whole family. The beds were very comfortable. The brand new deck was beautiful to relax on. AC was the only thing missing. We would definitely rent again.

Lots of beds and great location
My husband and I stayed for 4 days and found the location to be very convenient to the lake and other surrounding activities. The house is full of beds for large or multi family use.
Perfect for two families on a trip to Yosemite. Spacious and comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood of vacation homes. Thirty minutes from the park entrance.

Good!
We loved the cabin feel, and the furniture was comfortable!
We got to enjoy a nice weekend on the lake. Went to local bars see a comedy show not too cold not too rainy. The house had plenty of room and great neighborhood. A really good time.
We wanted a cozy, old style cabin — this was perfect!
I really didn’t want some generic quartz clad modern space. I wanted a wood paneled cabin that was cozy. The fireplace was great and there was a grill with an extra tank just in case. The shower was great, this ticked every box. We slept comfortably and the beds were clean.
We loved every minute here. I’d love to come back and stay here again.

We passed your comments along to our local manager to review and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
Great location. Nice neighborhood.
Electrical outlets NEED to be replaced! The second story balcony should be rebuilt! The railing is very wobbly. The deck has a 2x6 secured to it preventing it from rocking.
Ants all over when food is out for any period of time.
For the price. Kind of hard to beat.

Bass lake
I had a question about the cabin and the host took days to respond to one of my questions but never did respond to another question I had. Check-in was at 4 PM and we arrived at 3:00, as we had traveled a long distance, but they would not allow us to enter the property even though it was vacant. The property also had no AC and it was 110°. The bedrooms were like an oven!

Outdated Cabin
The location was great however, the cabin was very outdated and smelled like gradma's house. The cabin was clean but ants were a problem if you left anything out. The furinture was very old, banged up and smelly. The appiances were also old and outdated.
Finally, the kitchen table was also creeky and wobbly. It was just an OK place to sleep but definitely not to hang out.

Needs updates
The kitchen trash can was broken, back screen door difficult to open and close, trash cans outside need to be replaced, bears were getting into every day so we never took out the kitchen trash in fear of having to pick up a mess. No ac made it extremely warm upstairs.

We highly appreciate your review, Krista. We have taken this into account and brought this up to the local operations manager. Steps have been taken to make the necessary improvements, such as replacing the kitchen trash can, and ensuring the screen door works properly. We value your feedback and are committed to improving our services for future guests.
My husband, myself, and our four children (ages 11, 8, 6, and 2) stayed for three nights, and had the most wonderful time. Each kid had their own single bed, and we appreciated the spacious living area tremendously. For times when we were loading/unloading the car or preparing meals, we were able to choose from variety of streaming options to put on a movie for the kids.
Otherwise, we spent our time hiking in Yosemite, or rock hounding along the nearby lake shore and creeks. We could've wished for use of a washer/dryer, but otherwise the rental was super well-appointed, and with excellent water pressure in the shower. The spacious deck with the afternoon sunshine filtering through was lovely.
Thank you for sharing your very home-like accommodations with our family! (On our 3 week cross-country road trip, this cabin was the kids' favorite place we stayed! Not the fanciest, but the "feel" of the place was the most comfortable.)
This was such a cute little place. Cozy is the best word to describe for sure. We have 4 kids and my mom came along too. It fit our family perfectly. The deck made the house. It was so beautiful to wake up to all the woodpeckers and stellar jays flying around, and sip your coffee in the nature. And the stars at night, absolutely wonderful! You could see the milky way perfectly. We really had everything we needed. One thing I would like to relate to owners is maybe to leave a little more instructions on the garbage situation. There is a bear box for garbage. The instructions inside say "please place cans by street on Thursdays and Mondays" it says nothing about leaving the cans in the bin. Anyways needless to say we were out for the day at the lake to come back to garbage gone through by a bear!!! We all had a good laugh, and the neighbors confirmed it was a bear. And they said we were supposed to leave in bear locker. Again didn't ruin our stay at all just think the sign should be more descriptive. We love Bass Lake and have been coming for 15years. We usually camp the other side but chose to get a cabin this year. Like I said we usually camp so actually the house was quite refreshing in the evenings after being out at the lake all day. No ac, was not an issue for us. It was truly amazing and would highly recommend.
