Fantastic location right on the beach! Sitting in the living room looking out the slider feels like you are on a boat. The dolphins, the birds, the sunrises and sunsets, just can’t get any better! Comfortable beds with lots of pillows and blankets and a very well stocked kitchen just added to it all!

The "Coconut" did not disappoint! Ocean views from 3 different levels- perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktail. The top deck is off of the master bedroom and has incredible views.Owner provided linen and towels (which, if needed is a plus) and was decently communicative for a couple of things that came up.The only drawback was having to go through one of the downstairs bedrooms to access the porch/stairs to the beach. Cannot go around the house from the front door because of the dune on one side and the neighbors property on the other. Thank-you again for sharing this great space

The Beach, the Beach, the Beach

At high tide the ocean came right up to the steps off the middle balcony. It was wonderful to have our own private beach. We had plenty of room for our party of 7. There were lots of dishes & cooking utensils. A grocery was very close. Lots of good places to eat.

This was our third time staying at this house and we love it and will continue to come back. The house came with 4 beach chairs, boogie boards and lots of sand toys. The only real bad thing about the house is that the only way to get to the steps that lead to the beach is through the first floor bedroom. So how ever stays in this room should expect a lot of traffic. It has never been a problem for us.

The Coconut - 6/7/25

We really enjoyed our week stay at The Coconut, reconnecting with our three adult kids. This beach home is nicely decorated, well-maintained, nicely stocked, and clean. The owners were very prompt in responding to a small issue that we experienced with the HVAC, and quickly had service personnel on site to correct it. The location is as advertised - steps from the water, in an uncrowded area of the beach. We would certainly like to come back to this gem again.

We are Bill and Amy Crawley! We are the new owners of "The Coconut" and we are so excited to share it with you our guests. Both Bill and I are entrepreneurs, Bill owns a company that does car detailing products and I own a furniture boutique that is a full service interior design firm. We have four beautiful children ranging from 12 up to 34 years old. We joke that we had our kids a decade a part. ;) We currently live in Utah, which is quite the jaunt from NC.

Why they chose this property

When looking for an investment property we never imagined Topsail. We had sold our dream home in St. George, Utah which is south from Salt Lake City (think red rocks and arches). The time was right and we couldn't pass up the opportunity... So the adventure began to try to find another property. We had looked all over the country when my sister in law suggested Pinehurst. We are not golfers by any stretch, mind you we have tried our best Lol!... however, we do enjoy the beach and have always longed to have a beach front property, so low and behold her realtor that she was working with in Pinehurst happened to have a condo in Topsail. So we began looking at multiple beach houses on the whole island which brought us to the where we are now. We fell in love so much with Topsail and "The Coconut" that we have decide to expand and build another investment property in the same area. Call us crazy but we are in love!! You will have to follow along with us on our journey of building our new place. Hopefully, we will start this fall. We will keep you posted. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy "The Coconut" as much as we do.
