Front patio overseeing the reservoir; full bathroom w/ shower. The open floor plan has a spacious layout w/ wood ceiling beams and big windows, and french doors that allow loads of sunlight. This detached apartment is fully equipped w/ kitchen and bathroom. Just 20min outside Eugene. Perfect for Bird Watchers.

We really enjoyed our stay. But we wish the small sofa was a sofa bed or roll away bed was provided with fresh clean linen and pillows. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Quaint and quiet

We had such a lovely stay at this property! It was only 25 minutes from the city of Eugene but felt like you were away from it all. The area was submersed in nature and very calming and relaxing with the lake right there. The cottage was clean with a functional kitchen which was very handy. I would highly recommend you stay here:)

My husband and I had an excellent stay. Everything was peaceful, clean, quiet, and being so close to the water was great. It was a perfect place for some downtime away from our volunteer work and camping up the road. Super close to said work too!The only snafu we had was on arrival because we didn't know the door was self-locking until we shut the door while unloading with both of our phones inside. After jumping through many a technologic hoop, my husband was able to send an email to the host who was super responsive and got us back inside to the A/C promptly.Highly recommend!

Beautiful and Peaceful!

This is a beautiful place right on Fern Ridge. The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable. It is light and bright with amazing views. Very close into the town of Veneta where you will find what you need. We sat on the dock in the early morning and later afternoon and it was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

5 Star Country Cottage

Perfect for celebrating our 50th Anniversary & Thanksgiving with Veneta family. No hotel/motel in Veneta so we were so grateful to the owner for renting their place. We are in good health & physical fitness so stairs were no problem. The addition I would make is a heavy wall like curtain that closes off the sitting area if one goes to bed or gets up earlier than mate. Like the Hilton 2home suites have. Only to keep the light from bothering the person in bed. But this place is definitely 5 Star!

Peaceful and picturesque

This bright, spacious studio is the perfect setting for a peaceful retreat on beautiful waterfront property. I enjoyed having my breakfast and lunch on the balcony deck where I could see the lake through the trees. The stairs leading to the cottage space can be daunting if you're carrying luggage or an ice chest, but railing is handy all the way up and there is a landing halfway to the top. The only thing missing for me was a night-stand lamp. However, the refrigerator was the quietest one I have ever cohabitated with, bar none. :) The sunsets over the lake are worthy of framing...which I will be doing. I found the peace and quiet here that I was seeking. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Lake setting

My girlfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway that gave us a chance to relax but adventure if we felt like it. This place fits the bill. Right on the lake, wonderful sunsets, beautiful views of the stars. 20 mins from Carpenter Bypass for all your mountain biking needs. The place was very clean, instructions were easy to understand and plenty of space for 2 people. The kitchen was set up well for a small space. We were able to cook a few meals there. The only recommendation I have is bring your own knives if you plan on doing prep work here. But they do have them here, just not sharp anymore. Oh yeah, you have lots of fuzzy neighbors! Deer everywhere! Lol

Perfect weekend getaway

We live an hour and a half away and come down every weekend to play on our boat we have moored at Richardson marina. This was the perfect little getaway for a weekend where we didn't have to drive back and forth and could watch the sunset from our boat and just tie it up right there on the lake...it was perfect 😁

Excellent stay! It was so quiet and peaceful, the grounds were beautifully kept up. The view of the lake was spectacular. The hosts were right there if we needed anything, but we didn't need anything--everything in the house functioned perfectly and we had everything we needed. Everything was first class, from the dishware to the furnishings, to the sheets. We will definitely come here again should we be in town!
