Escape to the lovely Blue Isle Retreat! Built in 2021, this home is spacious, well appointed, and comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests. All bed and bath linens are included! Spend time in our spacious back yard with a private pool and lovely marsh view! Or take a short walk to the beach. Blue Isle Retreat is conveniently located between two public beach accesses. *Pool heater available for cool spring and fall visits at an additional cost of $100 per day with a three day minimum. *Pool measures 12ft by 28ft. Pool depth from 3.5ft to 6.5ft. Enjoy the convenience of an elevator for loading your luggage and belongings on the ground level covered parking area. The 1st floor offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath. Also, a generous sitting area equipped with a mini bar, video game console, and a large game table - perfect for the kids to hang out. There is a full size laundry room with washer and dryer as well.
The 2nd floor (top) offers an open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen, a dining table that seats 8 and bar seating for 9. Outdoor dining for 6 is available on front deck. Enjoy the tranquil living area with plenty of light and the convenience of a 1/2 bath. There are 2 master bedrooms on this floor with lovely marsh views.
There are various decks and covered porches where you can enjoy watching coastal wildlife, dining and gathering. A gas grill and charcoal grill are available for your use by the pool deck. By the pool is a turf area you can use for sunbathing or playing corn hole. An outdoor shower and poolside bathroom are located on the ground floor. Enjoy the outdoor covered area with a bar, under counter ice maker, tv, and seating for conversation. There is a dining table for 6 by the pool. The renter's closet on the ground floor includes beach and pool supplies and an additional standard size refrigerator.
Take in wonderful sunrises and sunsets from the front porch. Stay connected and entertained with 7 large flat screen TV's, WiFi and Sonos Sound/Speaker system. We also have two bikes for strolling around the area, beach and pool toys to use during your stay. Ocean Isle is a great place for off season golf and the popular Oyster Fest weekends. Not to mention free, family friendly outdoor concerts every Friday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day at the Town Center Park.

GOLF CART RENTAL!! If you are interested in having one for your stay, we highly recommend you reserve a golf cart well in advance! Amazing stay! The house is outstanding. Beautiful outside bar area, beautiful decor inside, everything worked and so many nice touches inside! Amazingly stocked rental closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, wagon! Beds were comfy, tvs all worked and the game console was a hit with the little one (PAC Man and Donkey Kong, I think…I’m not a gamer). Bathrooms were very nice and as I said earlier, all decor was great! I’m not sure if this was “standard” or leftover from other renters, but toilet paper and paper towels were there as well as dish soap, hand soap and dishwashing detergent and clothing detergent. This made our first days easy! All towels and linens were very nice and clean. Bring your own sunscreen and swimsuits and you are ready to relax and have fun!

This was our first trip to OIB. The house is fabulous. The pictures are accurate as shown The house is very clean and in perfect shape. Kitchen is fully stocked. Everything you could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the empty pull out storage to put everything we brought. The outdoor area is wonderful as is the pool. We loved the ice machine as well. We were 3 families from 79 to 19. We had plenty of room for all of us. Easy walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart as wellStay here you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful week!!!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was clean and beautiful! The beach was just a short walk away which was nice. We loved the porch hammock swings and all the decks! The pool was refreshing and the kids loved the basketball hoop! We also loved hanging out on the covered patio downstairs …the outdoor shower and bathroom were also amazing! Thank you again!!

Great house and outdoor space with superb amenities!

This house has it all and then some! The living spaces were great for our family vacation - large kitchen and great room areas with plenty of room for meals, games and hanging out. The beds were very comfortable and the best I have experienced in any VRBO/vacation rental. The outdoor living space was excellent - we were able to have meals on the large outdoor porch / table arrangement and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the porches throughout the home and the covered bar (with TV) by the pool. The pool and backyard were perfect for a swim and other yard-based activities (corn hole, bocce, etc.). The home also had a large volume of amenities for use in the backyard or the beach (boogie boards, bicycles, sand toys, chairs, corn hole.. you name it!). I almost forgot to mention the Sonos sound system which allowed us to play music in indoor and outdoor spaces - I was able to easily operate this from my phone - allowing everyone to enjoy some good tunes during dinner and by the pool. Everyone (ages 15-78) enjoyed the vacation and we will be looking to rent this home again in the future. I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout-out to the owner - although we are a laid back bunch and didn't reach out to the owner during our stay, my father left some belongings behind and she (and her cleaning team) were very helpful in getting those back to us. We've visited many beaches/homes in the past and all have been nice, but I think we have found our spot!

3rd Visit- best yet!

This property is exceptionally well maintained. The house is very well laid out and practical, yet it has several great living spaces too. The recent upgrades, including an ice machine at the bar by the pool, a large gas grill, and a bathroom on the pool level, make it just that much better. This was our third stay and we’ve already booked for next year. I can’t say enough good things about this property.

The most amazing week at the most amazing house! The accommodations were top notch. The owners’ attention to detail is evident in everything from the super comfortable beds, step stools for kiddos in the bathroom, game table, kitchen stocked with everything (even a Ninja!), poolside games and floats with Sonos speakers throughout (the list goes on and on!) The decorating in the house is beautiful with lots of spaces to relax for our group of 6 adults and 3 kiddos under six. The beach access is a short 5 min walk (even for the little ones). Owners were super responsive and so kind. We will be back!

Perfect family vacation at Blue Isle

I cannot say enough about how perfect this property was for my large family of 12. We had three families with children and everyone felt like we had our own space. The kitchen is large and was able to accommodate several people cooking at the same time and had all the necessary equipment and more for any cooking needs. The pool and backyard was by far the favorite of the children and adults. The beach is a quick walk away too! Such a great location. Communication with Jennifer was pleasant and she was extremely responsive when I had any questions.This was one of the best VRBO houses I have stayed in by far.

The perfect getaway at the beach

I never thought it was possible to find the perfect beach house rental, but this is the case. A beautiful house that is perfectly equipped and furnished.. No detail or amenity was left out. A definite 10/10 rental. Already looking at the calendar for our next time to come.

Great Time

This is my second time renting this home because it accommodates all the needs for someone out of state. Not only is this home beautiful but it is in a great location to beach access, beautiful march lands in the back and a wonderful pool. The owner even called to check on us during the cyclone to make sure we didn’t need anything. Was a wonderful two weeks!! Thanks for sharing your home again.

Gem That Feels Like Home

From the moment we arrived at this charming beach house, we knew we had discovered something special. Nestled next to the Intracoastal Waterway, this property is more than just a place to stay—it's a sanctuary. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for having experienced such a beautiful and thoughtfully hosted retreat. OIB is Great & this is a Wonderful Location

OIB is a great family beach. This location is a short 2 block walk to the beach or a very short golf cart ride. The stash of pool toys, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas , and beach towels was fantastic. No need to order beach stuff. The lower level bathroom is a plus. The third floor kitchen may seem strange but it is for the views. Well equipped kitchen, we cooked and ate most of our meals at the house. Nice views over the marsh without back door neighbors. (There are side door neighbors.). No toiletries provided. (some VRBOs do). We did the off season and it is so nice, very few people at the beach. we have come to OIB off and on for the past 45 years and this is our favorite property.

This house has it all!

Perfect location close to the beach, very clean and well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything a family could want on vacation. They even have a closet full of beach and pool toys! I would highly recommend to any group or family.

Couldn't Ask For More!

We stayed with our family and two other families. Twelve people total. This home has everything you could possibly need at a beach house! The cleanest and most well stocked rental we have ever booked. Plenty of room for all three families. The outdoor spaces were the favorite places of the property for the whole group. I would 100% recommend Blue Isle Retreat to anyone. The hosts were very responsive and assured everything went smoothly for our stay.

Family vacation

We had a great experience. House was well equipped with everything. Close to the ocean and town area. We had 8 adults and 2 children . Plenty of beach items amd pool toys. Definitely recommend this beautiful home.

A dream was realized when we purchased this beautiful beach home a year ago! Growing up vacationing with my family at SC beaches all my life, I was unaware of this island gem called Ocean Isle. Jim and I vacationed at Ocean Isle for the first time with close friends a few years ago. Fast forward to 2021.....a friend who recently purchased a canal home talked us into pursuing our dream of buying a beach house to share with friends and family and maybe grandkids one day! This house was barely on the market and we found it to be exactly what we wanted. We chose Ocean Isle for its small town charm, wide pristine beaches, and plenty to do for both adults and kids. And if you are looking for big city excitement, it is a short drive to Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

A big seller was the peaceful, private backyard marsh view. We love the open feel of our home, spacious bedrooms and common areas, and the soothing coastal colors and decor throughout. The additional kid friendly living space is a plus. After a long day on the beach, it is truly a retreat - away from the crowds and a quiet spot to cool off by the pool or hang out on one of the porches.
