The property is fine in terms of room to accommodate a large party, though the bunk room is probably better suited for kids as our young adult grandchildren felt uncomfortable sharing the space with mixed sexes. Overall, the property needs a deep cleaning inside and more care given to the outside of the property (trimming, etc.). The deck furniture could use new cushions as the current ones are mildewed. We rented for a weekend and were given a "starter pack" of dish soap/dishwasher detergent, one small soap for each bathroom. I can understand the starter pack for a longer term rental, but an ample supply if these items should be in house for weekend renters. We were also advised that filling the propane tank for the gas grill would be at our expense. With the price we paid for this property, ample propane should already be available. The dishwasher door is sprung, so the door falls when you open the dishwasher and pull out the bottom rack. Needs to be replaced. Overall, we felt the property felt a little "tired" and expected better given the price of the rental.

The starter supply of amenities is clearly stated in the listing, and we also send this information by text the day before arrival so guests have the opportunity to come prepared for their stay. We understand that guests may have different expectations, but we want to make sure these details are communicated in advance. We appreciate your comments regarding the cleanliness, landscaping, and deck cushions and will take them into consideration as we continue to maintain and improve the property. Yay: beautiful views, great open spaces, lots of sleep areas, bunkhouse has its own kitchen and bathroom space; also enjoyed spa/pool; convenient locationRoom for growth: it felt like the house had been cleaned but not recently used- spiderwebs in corners, blinds & under couches had dust, roly-polies on floor and on top of one beds, dishwasher hinge would not work. Toilet handle in primary bath would easily become disconnected & NO water pressure in shower. Girls all washed hair in upstairs shower. Stairs to river would be unsafe with anything in hands or with young kids. We would not sit in outdoor lounge chairs due to black mold in cushions. Bunkroom bathroom light blinked like a strobe light. First night primary bed’s middle bracing slat was unattached making the bed unstable. It was immediately fixed next morning. Thank you! Place just needs a little TLC. Overall we would stay here again as it is a great space.

Great Views

A great place

Loved the house! We held my sisters Bach party here with 16 adults. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool area was wonderful. We loved that everything was stocked and ready for us. I would love to book again in the future for family trips.

We enjoyed our stay. Any issues with the house were addressed quickly. Upstairs had the queen bed shared a bathroom with the room with a king and twin beds. Downstairs, the trundle twin shared a bathroom with the other king bed. Then the bunk room on the lower level shared one bathroom. The pool is a hot tub, but they were able to turn off the heater for our hot summer stay. The stairs down to the river are steep. We had to walk through a bit of mud to get to the river.
