We enjoyed our stay with the beautiful views of the beach and shady backyard. Mostly we enjoyed playing on the beach that has easy enough stairs to access the beach. Other rentals are very close but it didn’t impede on our enjoyment of the property.
The house was everything we wanted and very comfortable for our family of 9. Property and beach was amazing. Host answered all my questions promptly. We would definitely stay again.
Overall the location and unit we stayed in were great. The TV was small and dated, we were not able to connect our gaming systems. The communal property is not well kept, lots of weeds and overgrowth
The house has everything you will need to enjoy a happy stay. It overlooks the lake and is mostly private except for other people in close rentals but the beach area is wide enough for all to have their space.
Clean, comfortable, spacious cottage especially the second floor bedroom; well appointed with nice kitchen/refrigerator and all needed kitchen ware, wifi, efficient air conditioning units, beautiful lakefront, bed linens and towels fresh and clean, washer and dryer available on property, close to Port Austin, and Caseville, restaurants and putt put course.
The property was pretty much as advertised. Nice large shaded yard leading down to a beautiful beach. Enjoyed the sunset views. We would definitely stay here again.
The property has great bones and was a comfortable fit for our group of 10. The location is excellent—right on the beach, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. There are only two parking spaces on the property, so the rest of our group had to park at the beach access a couple of houses down. It worked out, but it would have been helpful to know that in advance. One area that was disappointing was the limited supply of essentials. For a three-night stay with 10 guests, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one garbage bag, and one roll of paper towels were provided. As a host myself, I felt this was inadequate, especially considering the price of the rental. The front door deadbolt is not functional. Instead, the door uses a padlock, which can lock behind you and leave you locked out if you don't have the key. The washer and dryer were also difficult to locate, as they're tucked away in the garage.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning because the location is hard to beat. That said, the property could benefit from some TLC and a few updates to better match the price point and enhance the overall guest experience.
We had an amazing time at the bungalow! The house was decorated so cute. I stayed here about ; years ago with my family and the transformation was amazing! The grounds of the property were well kept and the beach was beautiful.
Wonderful stay. Beautiful area and community. We were blessed as a family to be together. Home was exceptionally clean we couldn’t ask for more. Everything we needed was there for our use. The shared property was a bonus and of course the beautiful lake was perfect for our group. The host was exceptional and answered all my questions timely. We want to plan another stay next year. Forever grateful for these memories!
The house was perfect for a getaway with friends. Plenty of room in house, a large beach with lots of beach chairs, and a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Would love to come back with the family! Also, the property owner was friendly and helpful.
The lake was beautiful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Our group preferred a closer city or town but it was great to decompress enjoy the beach and each other.
The shared common area outside was not ideal but we made it work.
Celebrated my 30th birthday at this amazing cottage on the water! My family has had cottages in Caseville/Port Austin since the 60’s, and this place made us feel at home. The location is amazing, right on the water. It has all of the amenities you could need, and if not, the stores aren’t far at all! Highly recommended for family and friends.
The cottage itself is great- very comfortable and clean. The beach is beautiful and it’s a great spot on the lake. The only “minus” is the listing isn’t crystal clear about the fact that it is sort of a resort compound- all the units are very close together (my kids bedroom shared a plywood wall with another unit) , there’s not a lot of privacy, and the outdoor amenities are communal. We had a great time here, but I would’ve loved to have known that going in.
This beach house was the perfect “chill” vacation location. We enjoyed being right on the water and the private beach. We also enjoyed the backyard space and the fire pit. One of the days we were there was rainy and the house was perfect for playing games and hanging out. We loved that the layout of the bedrooms gave each of us our own space. It’s right between Caseville and Port Austin so we were able to go into these small towns and check out the little shops, grab some ice cream at Blue Moon, check out Thumb Brewery and get some good eats at Beachy’s.

House was plenty big enough for 11 of us. Loved the game room. Beach was beautiful and yard. A lot of very close neighbors so no privacy outside. Really enjoyed our time rho and neighbors were great so it worked out well.
Such a great property along the lake. Perfect location right between Caseville and Port Austin, each with plenty to see and do. Wonderful views of sunset from the main living room as well as the 2nd floor suite. Easy beach access (small staircase with hand rails) to a wonderful, sandy and shallow beach. Plenty of space for our group of 9. Quick responses ahead of stay to all my random questions and quick responses during our stay for some minor issues that were resolved promptly. Property also has some smaller units that I’m sure could be booked to accommodate larger groups. Plenty of outdoor seating and space to enjoy without feeling crowded. We would definitely recommend this property and will definitely keep it in mind if staying in the area again

Hi Erin, thank you for the beautiful review. It was a pleasure to meet you. Please come stay with us again sometime. Blessings Sam and Kyle
The location of the property being right on the beach was excellent. The size was great for our family gathering. I liked that there were several areas for family members to retreat to so that they would not be on top of one another. Having a living room, dining room and back porch area along with the common grounds provided the space that we needed to spread out. There were only a few negatives that I shared with the property manager, which were the sliding screen door kept coming off track, the Lazy Susan also came off track, the TV Wi-Fi was spotty, and some of the outlets did not appear to work. The rental cost was a little pricey, but we made it work.
Having the beach in our backyard was perfect.
