SHASTA LAKESHORE RETREAT #6. This home is one of the 19 fine lake homes as part of the Shasta Lakeshore Retreat collection supporting up to 235 guests.

Retreat #6 is a charming two story ~1410 square foot LAKE HOME that includes 2 Bedrooms, 3 Full Bathrooms plus a large hobby room with a private entrance. The home as a large wrap around deck. This home is a short walk to the lake, marina and our 14 other homes in the highly desired Sugarloaf area of Lakehead. A perfect retreat to unwind, unplug, connect with nature and spend time with family and friends. It features two family rooms and is perfect for two families.

The top floor includes the main room with a 52" SmartTV for streaming your favorite apps and plenty of room to all get together. The kitchen is well stocked. The master bedroom features a king bed with its own bathroom.

- GREAT Truck/Boat Parking, bring your toys plenty of parking with wrap around gated driveway. No sleeper RVs.

- Short walk to the water and marina from the house. Check lake water level as Shasta is a reservoir. See our website on lake level.

- Seasonal Marina has boat slips, fuel and store. Boat Ramp near home.

- Large deck with two tables to seat up to 12 outside along with a gas fire pit and heat lamp

- Majority of boaters choose Shasta as their favorite Lake in California! Warm water during summer, many fingers to ski/board with calm water, massive dam, fishing everywhere, multiple marinas to fuel the boat and even a bar. Over 365 miles of shoreline to explore. Most shoreline in California.

- Plenty of relaxing time to view wildlife from the deck while you have a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening.

- Multiple forest service country roads for ATV's and hiking to explore close by. Bring your ATVs!

This is a special place for all to enjoy on the BEST lake in California (FULL 4 of 6 past years, not 2021 or 2022), always flat, easy to find, 80-90 degree water in summer and 365 miles of shoreline when full) and located on the most desirable part of the lake (upper Sacramento arm in the wonderful community of Lakehead).

Due to a great number of returning guests we tend to book up early especially for the summer months. Our 2026 and part of 2027 calendars are open.

*IMPORTANT: Check Lake Level on our website for info and photos or Contact us for latest status. Summer 2021 and 2022 Lake Level was lower than recent years. Although most of our guests still have a great time at any water level, we want to make sure you understand the dynamics of this reservoir. The lake may or may not fill up any given year but we will keep guests posted as we always do and offer a full refund up to 60 days before arrival. Although rare, if the lake drops below 140' down, this starts to impact the availability of local boat ramp and marina requiring travel to another part of the lake. Again, see our web site for latest info and photos of lake at different levels. Forest Fires are also common in Northern California which may blow smoke in the area during the Summer/fall. Sensitive parties should avoid visiting Northern California during this period of time. Check our web site for current conditions and warnings.

My family meets once a year for a reunion and we typically gather in Sunriver, but my mother had the idea of going to Shasta this summer and it was a great decision. We rented four homes and they were all really close to one another and right on the Lake. There are tons of activities in the area for people of all ages, but the lake and lake activities are the highlight. The homes were clean and had everything you’d need to have a wonderful visit. Family Get Away

Such a fun weekend! The property is in a great location. Just steps to the lake. It has a lot of parking for boats, trailers, ect. We brought our off road side by side & Lori had a lot of knowledge about the trails around the area. You can ride straight from the house. Our teens especially liked all the board games at the house. We had many game nights. The porch is big & is completely shaded by dinner time. We’ll definitely be going back.

Beautiful home, perfect location, host was amazing!

After having another home cancel at the last minute, we found this home, and it was perfect. The host was terrific in communication and getting back to us quickly. They were literal lifesavers for our family. Although the lake level was low, but we drove to Lake Britton and saw Burney Falls. The kids loved it. We have an RV, and there were full RV hookups available. The neighbors that we saw on walks were very kind and helpful. We also took a drive to Shasta Cavern, which was also brilliant! The home is large, and the downstairs bedroom is separate with its own bathroom. All of the girl cousins could be loud, play games, and enjoy each other, and we couldn’t hear a thing upstairs! It was lovely! We had brought our giant movie screen, and there were enough patio chairs to fit all of us comfortably, and we had a couple of great outdoor movie nights. If we were to go to Shasta again, we would definitely stay here! We loved it.

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 19 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.
