This home is located in a peaceful, serene area. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Mornings on the back deck were a perfect place to watch the sun rise. All the comforts of home were included. The host was readily available and even offered information about events going on in the area during our stay. If we are in the area in the future, we would definitely want to return to this property.

Had to laugh thinking about how much time the owner spent at garage sales antique shops etc picking up all the knick knacks pictures etc knowing she must have truly enjoyed it by her choices. very nice R KOSKE

Clean and neat cottage. Host is easy to communicate with. This was our second stay here. We really like how quiet it is here. Lovely place for bird watching. Furniture is comfortable. Bed is comfortable.

Very nice, clean property with all of the amenities, including a dock out back to enjoy the water. Conveniently located and just minutes away from civilization and hiking the Withlacoochee State Forest.

The dream lake house

Recommend eating at the Cove, which is less than a mile from this house. We even got to see a little alligator out about 15 foot from the dock.

Great place!

Elena is an excellent host, her place is immaculately clean and could not have been better Also the town of Inverness has lots to do - Restaurants, Wine Bar, Sports Bar, Biking Trail, all within a short drive from her place - highly recommend staying there - next time I'll bring a Fishing Pole to fish off her Dock!

Exploring the area

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is super clean and pleasant. The furniture and beds are comfortable. Just about everything you need in the kitchen and bath. Plenty of shaded and sunny sitting areas outside. It is fun to sit on the dock and fish or enjoy the birds. Just know that there are two very slight steps indoors. Would absolutely return here in the future.

Perfect place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay once we finally got there.(flight cancellations and such) This is a great house. Plenty of room. Decorated nicely, clean, nice back porch, yard and dock. Very relaxing and I felt safe. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with. I can’t wait to come back next year to visit. We will definitely stay here if available.

The house and surroundings were very clean and neat, every thing was well organized Elena and husband met us at public boat ramp and escorted back to the house, which was a big help in navigating the canal system the dock accommodated our boat nicely. It’s a very quiet area. Will stay here again.

Spring Break 2024

Had a great stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We were looking for a place that we could bring a boat and enjoy nature while also being close enough to big cities if we wanted. This location was pretty much directly between Tampa and Orlando and gave us the flexibility we were looking for. We saw tons of wildlife on the lakes and rivers and enjoyed ourselves greatly!!
