We’re very sorry that the no-see-ums were bothersome during your stay. While we do have a commercial spraying program in place, the unusually heavy rains this November led to higher-than-normal bug conditions across all the islands. During this time of year, (rainy season) no-see-ums are unfortunately on all beaches, including Grace Bay, but normally only during dusk and dawn. Sorry again they were such a nuisance. Regarding the hot tub, we’d like to clarify for future guests that the property features a Viking cold jetted tub, not a heated hot tub, as stated in the listing. We have chosen not to have a hot tub as it would require burning oil to heat, and we are committed to operating the home in as environmentally responsible a way as possible. The pool and separate whirlpool are generally between 78 and 95 degrees, and can be refreshing during the exceptionally hot, dry months. We truly appreciate your feedback and thank you again for staying with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Thank you for your review and we are happy you enjoyed your stay. I was a little surprised by the 4star, and we are sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the maintenance of “minor items”. We want to ensure you we do spend considerable time, and extensive funds to ensure the property is in excellent condition. Including hiring not only a full time villa manager, but also a full time property manager. We also spend 8 weeks a year here, much of that time is spent ensuring the home is in the best possible condition. We purchased this home in 2022, and have been thrilled with it; of course this is a private beach home and some wear and tear does happen in this climate, despite our best efforts. For example the ice machine broke right before you arrived, as explained by the property manager, she is in the process of waiting for parts - things do move a little slower in the Caribbean. She tried to have ice stocked by the bag full in the fridge. Anyways, we do hope you enjoyed the solitude, and world famous beach/sandbars. We hope to host you again if you do venture back to North Caicos ☀️ 😊

Hi. Thank you for your response and we are happy you enjoyed your stay. It sounds like you did not have a chance to explore the islands, as there are lots of restaurants here for guests to enjoy. We are actually here right now (for 10 nights) and plan to eat out every night. There is also a restaurant being built right down the beach by Todd English. The quiet is not for everyone; but those of us who want peace and tranquillity consider this paradise. It offers a beautiful private beach, sandbars, world class snorkelling, anonymity, safety and security (for many celebrities as well). Thanks again for spending some time at our villa. You were a wonderful guest!!!
