You’re sure to fall in 💗 with lake views, cozy bedding, modern decor & a well-stocked kitchen. Located in the capital on the Ky Bourbon Trail, this peaceful Lakehouse is sure to be the perfect getaway for couples, friends & families alike! Minutes to several distilleries, 10 mins to the Capitol, 30 mins to Lexington. Pets are allowed for $150 per stay.

We live nearby & are available if needed, but generally do not personally interact with guests.

This is a row of 4 adjoined townhomes overlooking a small lake, located in a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors.

Guests have access to the entire home.

This is a split-foyer townhome. The lower level features a living room with an electric fireplace, a 55” Smart TV, fully-stocked kitchen, a renovated half bath & dining area. Outside, you can relax on either of our two decks & enjoy the sounds of wildlife on the lake, cast your own line (bring your poles & kayaks!) or enjoy a cocktail after a day on the Bourbon Trail. We also provide a Weber charcoal grill, if you’re in the mood to BBQ. Guests will need to login to their own streaming services on the TVs.

Upstairs, you’ll find 2 bedrooms (one king bed & one queen), one full bathroom (shower only) & full laundry. The spacious primary bedroom features a king bed, a 42” Smart TV, desk, reading lamps (with USB chargers), dresser, luggage rack & closet. The 2nd bedroom features a queen bed, blackout curtains, reading lamps (with USB chargers), dresser, luggage rack & closet. A renovated bathroom w/ a glass-shower enclosure & a new washer & dryer complete the upstairs.

Your car, Uber, car rental or taxi is best.

There are only 2 dedicated parking spaces available in front of the townhouse. Please try to park directly in front - leaving 2 spaces to your left & 4 spaces to your right. There is additional street parking available for more than 2 cars.

A processing fee will be deducted from all refunds, regardless of when you cancel the reservation. This fee is charged by the payment processor - the hosts do not keep any of this fee! We simply cannot afford to pay $ to the credit card companies & payment processors because a guest changes their mind. Thank you for understanding.

It was an enjoyable 2 night stay with everything we needed. I appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the bedrooms being upstairs. The lake was lovely but it was too cold for us to actually sit outside. The kitchen was great and well located. Very comfortable and glad we stayed there! Thanks!

Rosemarie, It's shocking to me that you left us such a great review while simultaneously disputing the charge for your stay. I hope other hosts don't have to go through this. Disputing the charge for a stay that you obviously completed is theft. Perhaps I should file a police report instead of disputing your chargeback...

The owners have done a very nice job of renovating a dated townhouse.With the exception of an unusable deck chair there furnishings were quite comfortable although the kitchen needs a few more place settings. Five settings and one teaspoon are simply not enough. The biggest shortfall was the stairs and the entryway. Very steep with narrow steps and the front garden is horribly placed. Simply a bad design.

Hi, Don. I realize this was your first time staying in a short-term rental, which caused some issues during your stay, so I'll take some time to respond... Thank you for letting us know about the broken adirondack on the deck. We replaced it after your stay. The home is equipped to host 4 guests at a time, so 5 place settings should be plenty, though we started with 6. We also restocked the teaspoons - again, we started with 6 of everything, but for some reason guests find a need to take spoons, towels & even clothes hangers home. Thx for letting us know to replace the teaspoons! As for the exterior of the home, there are LOTS of photos that show the steps inside the home and the few steps outside the townhouse at the entry, so this should not have been an issue - or, you should've booked a different home without steps. Lastly, we didn't build the complex & had nothing to do with the placement of the planters out front, so this is an unfair critique. You could also see all of this prior to booking, so be sure to pay closer attention to photos next time.

Bourbon Trail Visit
