Property location is perfect close to town but far enough it was quiet and really had that hidden cabin feel. The glass wall for half the house was an awesome view in the evening for being able to see the stars. I would recommend a small group or a couple quick getaway for the weekend.

I brought my wife and 2 girls out to Garrett's place. We had an absolute amazing time. The earth ship was great, quiet, solitude, and in such a beautiful setting.We seen lots of wildlife, and if you're patient, you can actually feed the Chickadees out of your hand.We built a fire most nights, and there's nothing like spending time with your loved ones at night, beside a crackling fire.Not only did we have a wonderful time, I also made a new friend, Garrett is a down to earth guy, and he was a wonderful host, and appreciates the forest and its beauty that surrounds the Earthship. I'm glad we chose this place to stay, and we'll be back. Thank you Garrett .

The hobbit house is truly magical! The wall of windows is stunning and we spent many peaceful hours next to the cozy woodstove watching the clouds and stars. Garrett was great and always responsive to our questions. We will definitely stay again!

Amazing Canyon Hideaway

This house was exactly what we were looking for: secluded and filled with natural beauty. I have always wanted to stay in an earthship house and this one was charming. Plenty of outside space to hike around in the snow with the dogs and really feel a part of nature.

Magical house in magical Taos

This place is truly unique and awesome. We got snowed in for a day, which was mesmerizing- feeding the wood stove and watching the snow was soooo relaxing. Garrett is a great host and this is a uniquely Taos experience- highly recommend!
