I have visited Playa Hermosa for many years. It is a magical place. Denise's property is in the heart of the location. Her property is an ode to this. You will be surrounded by the rich and varied flora and fauna. A calm and beautiful retreat. It is tranquil, clean and well-maintained.The magnificent beach is only a 5 minute walk directly down the road.The nighttime is so beautifully quiet, except for the nightbirds, their song a lovely sound.Across from the property is an excellent cafe with a extensive menu of fresh foods.A shout out to Kristi and Casey, who mange the day to day of Halfmoon and Fullmoon. They are responsive, super friendly and very experienced.We loved our two week stay.

The unit is just as it looks in the photos - open, spacious, and well lit. It is modern and sparse, and feels brand new with high ceilings, smooth textured plaster walls, stainless appliances - and adequate cooling and ventilation. The main open living room and kitchen area is above two identical bedrooms with bathroom and open shower - perfect for up to four people. It is amazingly airy and natural - there are sliding glass walls on two sides one facing the ocean - the open almost completely - a very nice feature. It is perched on a hill with several other similar residences with 24 hour security stationed in a small structure at the main road with an entrance gate. It's location - on the north end of Santa Teresa is a little more private - and its position up the steep hill - about a 5 minute walk to the beach - gives a great view and is quiet. After visiting I would prefer staying off the beach a bit for these reasons. Highly recommend renting ATV if staying here - to traverse the hill and travel into town starting about a mile to the south. We found the property manager and local staff to be very friendly and helpful. If we return, we would definitely stay here again- don't think its possible to find anything better unless you want the convenience of a resort. But if you are that type, you probably aren't coming to Santa Teresa. Enjoy.

The property and bungalow are amazing! We really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, relaxing by the pool, and the short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We comfortably fit our family (2 adults, 3 kids) in the Tranquilo Bungalow and appreciated the clean, well decorated indoor and outdoor living space. Leah was a kind, attentive host. Dori always had coffee brewing in the morning and kept the property spotless. Definitely set up a surfing lesson with Toro. The bungalows are just off the main road, north of town. It helps to have a car or quad to get around.

Our stay at this beautiful property was absolutely spectacular! The pictures accurately depict exactly how everything looks. The location is in close proximity to the beach and town area which was very convenient. The sunrise and sunset views from different areas of the property were outstanding. The home, outside area and pool were clean and inviting, honestly we did not want to leave! The host helped connect us with a private chef to come and cook one evening and it was the best meal we had the entire trip hands down. We saw howler monkeys and all different species of birds on the property which was really cool. We would definitely stay again if we have the pleasure of coming back to Santa Teresa!

This place was amazing!!!!! It has everything you need for a perfect time. We stayed 10 days and can’t say enough good things. The views are incredible, the pool is great, the property manager is excellent and the location is spectacular.

Awesome cozy property with large rooms and a minute walk to straight to the sand!
