In the summer you’ll find this home is nestled in the heart of the local wine and golf scene (thank you Northern MI for keeping married couples, married!) also offering quick access to both Lake Michigan and the renowned Little Traverse Wheelway. In the winter you’ll enjoy the convenience of being nestled halfway between both Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain ski resorts (in addition to local favorite Nub’s Nob) without having to deal with expensive resort costs.

This home worked out very well for our extended family. It was convenient to have two different sitting/TV areas, spacious kitchen and a large rec room, among other things. Our host was most accommodating, including setting up a Christmas tree for our benefit.

We loved our stay here!! We were here for my son’s wedding at Castle Farms and we had plenty of room for everyone and the game room was a big hit with adults and kids alike. The hosts were very accommodating with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend it for any trip!

This is a very good property for a big group. The way it’s set up is very nice. There are several sitting areas and a nice big usable kitchen. There are several outdoor areas to enjoy also! The bedrooms are well suited for a big group. We had a family reunion (adults only) and everybody was very comfortable. This is a very nice property! It is easy access to Petoskey and Charlevoix. It was a very good getaway for us.

Family time!

Our family loved staying at Anna’s house! It was enormous and comfortable! There were 8 couples and a few kids and all were happy! The kitchen was well stocked for aloud many family meals. We sat inside and outside at tables for eating. We hung out all over to catch up and relax. The basement was amazing for games and fun!! We even had our dogs who gave it six paws up!! Thank you Anna!! We had the best time!

Perfect place for a big group

This house was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend. We had a bunch of people staying with us and it never felt crowded. There is plenty of space for activities and games. We really enjoyed our stay here. Each bedroom has its own window AC unit and that was perfect to control individually based on each persons preference.

Lovely long weekend with extended family!

This property was perfect for our large family group! We had a toddler, a young adult in a wheel chair, and room to spread out, play games, make big meals, and explore the area! The kitchen (and bathrooms) was well stocked…from seasonings, sharp knives, a colander, two types of coffee pots, and even a panini machine! We enjoyed Boyne Mountain and the Frost Bite Winery trail! Great memories made!

Just what we needed

My wife and I were married the on Oct. 6th and we had traveled from California to get married at Castle Farms in Charlevoix. 14 people slept comfortably all weekend and there was plenty of room to lounge :) it was everything we needed and more. The property manager was impressively responsive to any questions we had and upon arrival you get a welcome binder with a plethora of things to do and see in the area. I recommend this property for any large group as it is very spacious and provides many things to do with a large kitchen to prepare meals. If you do end up staying here I hope you enjoy your time in Charlevoix!

Big house, needs some TLC

The house can accommodate a large group, and the owner was responsive to questions about some baby gear and the hot tub. But the house is older and needs some attention. It is advertised as having AC but there are only two window units, with no AC in one half of the house (the side near the kitchen). Some of the ceiling fans do not work at all (in one living room), and other bedroom fans barely move. Many of the blinds are broken and windows were missing screens or were badly damaged. The kitchen countertop is cracked around the sink and the hot/cold tap was backwards in the tub. The kids bedroom had a broken lamp, someone else’s socks, and filthy small fans. The hot tub temperature gauge said it was 111-113 degrees but this could not have been accurate. I know it’s late in the season but the house needs a thorough inspection and a deep clean.

Room(s) to spare!

Very comfortable home with lots of open space and large bedrooms. We had 11 people and it was very accommodating. The basement is huge and has loads of games for the kids!

Stress-free stay for wedding weekend

This house was perfect for the entire (13) family for our daughter’s Charlevoix wedding. It’s super roomy, well equipped, and the host, Anna, could not have been kinder or more communicative. She and the property are awesome! The accessibility was perfect for my 88 year old mother. We thought the location was perfect too—just far enough from the craziness of the Boyne Thunder crowd, but easy enough to get to Castle Farms for the wedding or into Petoskey for a pre-wedding event. The game room in the lower level was a hit too. We would 100% stay here again.

Charlevoix Get Away

Spacious house with updates. Very close to Petosky & Charlevoix & beach. Any problems were quickly remedied. Curb appeal could be improved but the interior of the house was fine.

Very large house!

Wow! The house was much larger than expected. Seemed to go on forever and was easy to get lost inside LOL. Anna was great to work with. The house had everything we needed and the location was perfect for a wine tour girls weekend. Will come back again..

Great place for two families skiing and exploring

This was a quick trip and the house was just right for two families with many teens and lots of laughter, game nights while movies were playing in the other room. Location was ideal for visiting local towns, getting to ski at nubs both days and exploring the cute town. Appreciated all that the house had in stock. It’s a very large house with plenty of beds! The only hiccup was the 6 hard to find thermostats - the basement was on 80 and there was one hiding in a bedroom that was on 82 so the first night was uncomfortable until we finally found those to turn heat to 60. Otherwise the complementary items for waters and coffee were great! Thank you so much!

Girls weekend

There were 16 ladies at the house for four days. 2-4 people did need to sleep on couches. The home is beautiful and fully equipped. Hot tub is wonderful and basement full of games. Plenty of room for private space. We throughly enjoyed this home.

So much space yet very comfortable

Originally we had 14 people who planned to stay at the home however only 4 showed up. I wish they had a fenced area for dogs. After booking the house I discovered the yard was not fenced so I had to rent a second home to accommodate two dogs. The house sits in a beautiful wooded area with plenty of parking. I would recommend to family to stay there in the future

The best stay for a big group!

Our group loved staying at Anna’s home! We were celebrating our wedding over the weekend we stayed and the house fit all of our needs. Anna’s home was spacious, clean and all of the rooms were so nice. Anna was very accommodating and responsive!

Great for large family

This house was perfect for our family of 16. We had a blast. Not only close to Charlevoix and Petoskey, but an easy day trip to Macanack Island. But great space in the house for games when home.

Great house for a large family!

This house is so versatile. It has several living areas so guests can spread out and still stay in groups if they want. Almost every room has a flat screen TV. The yard and it's beautiful flowers and landscaping are pleasant for enjoying the fresh air coming right off Lake Michigan a mile away. The full lower level has a hot tub, a dining area and a room full of indoor as well as outdoor games to play. It is off the beaten path but not more than 15-20 minutes from the heart of town. We will stay here again if given the chance!

Huge, beautiful home

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. The home is extremely spacious, clean, in a quiet area, with a great backyard space, and only a short drive to the beach and downtown areas.

Such a fun family stay!

This house was great place for my big family! The kids loved the big open space in the basement, filled with lots of games. There were multiple living rooms so we could spread out when we needed space and one bigger room where we loved visiting in the evening. The firepit in the back was perfect for roasting s'mores. This place was in a perfect location! Nice and quite but close to multiple cities that we could easily visit with a short drive. The host had great communication and even helped us out with recommendations on where we could see fireworks! A lot of great memories!
